"I don't mind forgiving you for your unruly behavior, but I will need you to prove your sincerity first," Yuan said to the Refined Obsidian Dragon.
"How can I show my sincerity? I will do anything!" The Refined Obsidian Dragon shouted.
"Although I can make do with the materials I possess currently, it would be great if I had more. Do you understand what I an?" Yuan spoke with a calm expression on his face.
It took a second, but the Refined Obsidian Dragon responded with great enthusiasm, "Of course, I understand! It would be an honor if Master Yuan used my materials for his creations! Please wait here while I gather my finest materials!"
The Refined Obsidian Dragon rushed out of the workshop the very next mont.
"Brother Yuan… how many more surprises are under your wings? Where in god's na did you learn how to craft treasures like that?!" Long Yejun asked him with shining eyes.
"I am mostly self-taught," Yuan said with a calm smile.
"Self-taught?! Surely, you are teasing ." Long Yejun didn't believe him even for a second.
"I am serious."

"How long did it take for you to achieve that level of mastery? It must've taken billions of years. I am beginning to wonder if you're actually older than …" Long Yejun continued to inquire.
"I am definitely nowhere as old as you, and it took several thousand years to achieve my current level."
"..."
Long Yejun was speechless.
'It only took him several thousand years to achieve his level of mastery?! My nap lasts longer than that!' he exclaid inwardly.
However, after thinking about it, Yuan had managed to conquer the Baneful Dragon's Poisonous Swamp and the Sky Splitting Dragon's Tribulation in a little over a year.
'If I see it in that manner, I guess a few thousand years is actually a very long ti…'
"By the way…" Yuan suddenly grabbed the sword he'd just created off the ground and offered it to Long Yejun, "You can have this."
"What? Are you sure?" Long Yejun stared at him with wide eyes.
He nodded, "Take it. You've been extrely helpful to without expecting anything in return, so consider this my way of thanking you."
Long Yejun nodded and accepted the sword. When he held the treasure in his grasp, and its aura seeped into his skin, his entire body trembled.
"What a masterpiece! The treasure I crafted is trash in comparison!"
"Don't undersell your own creation. That earring is also a piece of art." Yuan smiled.
"I am only speaking the truth, Brother Yuan. I don't know how to explain this, but I have never held a treasure like this before. Compared to the other treasures, there's just sothing fundantally different about this treasure." Soti later, the Refined Obsidian Dragon returned to the workshop. This ti, he brought back with him an even larger sack.
"Here you go, Master Yuan! You can use these materials as you please!" The Refined Obsidian Dragon poured the materials on the ground, forming a small mountain.
Yuan's eyebrows twitched as he took in the sheer quantity of treasures laid out before him. In his past life, he had encountered all sorts of treasures, including so of the most valuable and powerful materials. Yet, every single material before him now was entirely unknown.
'If I brought these treasures back to the Nine Heavens, they'd be priceless as one-of-a-kind treasures!' Yuan thought to himself.
However, the Refined Obsidian Dragon was not finished and continued, "Of course, I didn't forget about the other thing."
He retrieved a black rock and offered it to Yuan.
"This is my most valuable material—the Infinite Obsidian. I found this rock floating in the Infinite Expanse six hundred million years ago, and I have been trying to refine it since then. Unfortunately, I lack the skills and experience to refine it, much less turn it into a treasure. However, I believe you, Master Yuan, will be able to achieve what I could not."
Yuan accepted the rock and inspected it with imnse interest. His eyes flickered as he examined every little detail.
'What a mythical material…'
Although he didn't know what kind of treasure it was, Yuan could tell it was as valuable as the materials he used as the core of Number One Under Heaven.
'No, this thing might be even more powerful… If I use this to enhance Number One Under Heaven, who knows what will happen!' Just the re thought of enhancing his masterpiece sent chills through Yuan's entire being. He had always believed that Number One Under Heaven was already a perfect treasure, beyond any further improvent. Yet, the appearance of this unknown material had turned his understanding on its head, igniting a surge of excitent within him.
'Unfortunately… my cultivation is lacking. I will need to improve my cultivation before I can even attempt to refine this material.'
"Thank you. I will put this treasure to good use. You have also proved your sincerity, so I'll forgive you and let bygones be bygones," he said to the Refined Obsidian Dragon after putting the Infinite Obsidian inside his spatial ring.
"Your words an more than you can fathom, Master Yuan!"
He nodded and said, "I am going to start crafting my treasure now."
Hearing this, the Refined Obsidian Dragon made a swift grasping motion toward the massive hamr hanging on the wall. As it flew through the air, the hamr began to shrink, transforming until it was small enough to be held comfortably, even by an ordinary human.
"Please use this hamr, Master Yuan!"
Yuan accepted the hamr and smiled, "It's a nice hamr."
"Thank you very much!" The Refined Obsidian Dragon looked as if he was about to cry.
'This guy has gone crazy…' Long Yejun looked at the Refined Obsidian Dragon while shaking his head inwardly.
"Master Yuan, do you mind if I watch you craft? I swear I won't disturb you." The Refined Obsidian Dragon then asked with begging eyes.
Yuan nodded, "Sure."
"Thank you very much!!!" The Refined Obsidian Dragon actually shed tears this ti.
