"But why a kiss?"
"I thought humans liked that sort of thing."

"That's not why… forget it."
Yuan realized it was pointless to argue with Long Wu Qing.
"Anyway, I am going to leave now."
"Where are you going?" she asked out of curiosity.
Yuan didn't imdiately respond as he pondered whether it would be a good idea to tell soone eccentric like Long Wu Qing. He didn't mind telling the Dragon God because he was confident the Dragon God wouldn't do anything foolish.
Long Wu Qing, on the other hand, was almost impossible to predict.
Seeing that Yuan remained silent, Long Wu Qing smiled and said, "Are you going to et with a phoenix?"
Yuan raised an eyebrow and asked, "How can you tell?"
"Before we fought, I noticed the lingering scent of a phoenix from you," she explained.
After all, Yuan was just speaking with the Primordial Phoenix before he returned to the Divine Dragon Sanctuary.

"What?" Yuan's eyes widened with shock after learning this unexpected information.
He could've never expected that it was Long Wu Qing who caused Feng Yuxiang's death when she was still living in the Primal Expanse.
"She was one of the strongest opponents I've ever had. It happened very long ago, and I almost lost to her back then." Long Wu Qing sighed as she recalled the fight in her mind.
"What led to your fighting?" Yuan asked.
Long Wu Qing had to ponder for a mont before she could respond, "Honestly, I don't rember, but it was probably over sothing silly."

Three days later, another rift opened before Yuan.
"Enter." The Primordial Phoenix's voice resounded in his head.
Yuan nodded and stepped into the rift, his heart pounding with excitent, as it has been a long ti since he last saw or heard Feng Yuxiang's voice.
Upon arriving in the Primordial Phoenix's world, the first thing Yuan noticed was the stunning woman standing beside the Primordial Phoenix. She had a tall, slender figure, silky red hair that flowed like flas, and glistening golden eyes that radiated a powerful yet graceful presence.
However, she also appeared confused and slightly overwheld, like a patient who had just woken up from a years-long coma.
Yuan's expression lit up after seeing her familiar face, and with a delighted smile, he called out, "Feng Feng!"
Hearing his voice, Feng Yuxiang swiftly turned to look at him. Her confused look instantly vanished after seeing his handso face, and her expression beca filled with relief and excitent.
"Young Master~!" she cried as she flew at him with her arms spread wide.
