Soti later, Yuan and Kelan went over to Emperor Ning to say goodbye.
"Before you leave, can you give this reward to that young lady who won the tournant?" Emperor Ning handed the Innate Miracle Pill to Kelan.
Kelan brought the Demon Sealing Faction and Yuan to a nearby area afterward.
"How much ti do we have before the Celestial Overlord arrives to recruit ?" Yuan inquired.
"We have a few more days. Why?"
"Alright. Let's go to the Myriad of Techniques, then."
"Why the Myriad of Techniques?" Kelan raised an eyebrow, feeling like Yuan was being oddly specific and familiar with their background.
"That's Overlord Bai's territory, no? What I have to tell you guys is incredibly important and cannot be leaked. I need a safe place to reveal this information to you."
Kelan's eyes widened. This was their first ti eting, so why does he have sothing so important to tell them?
"Does this have sothing to do with Yuan?" ixiu suddenly asked with an observant face.
He silently nodded.
"Huh? Yuan? You know Yuan?" Everyone there looked at him with wide eyes.
"So you've known about us this entire ti?!"
"I cannot reveal any more here."
"..."
"Alright, I'll bring us to the Myriad of Techniques right now." Kelan retrieved a talisman and burned it with spiritual energy. The next mont, everyone around him was enveloped by a golden light before they vanished into thin air.
The scenery flickered before Yuan and the others, and before they realized it, they were suddenly in front of the Myriad of Techniques.
The talisman worked similarly to the teleport stones in the Primal Expanse, but they were incredibly valuable and limited in travel distance due to human's lack of understanding of the power of the void. They entered the Myriad of Techniques and went straight into Senior Bai's world, as Kelan had been given permission by Senior Bai to do so without his presence in case of ergencies.
Once they were inside Senior Bai's world and protected from eavesdrops and the Celestial Emperor's interference, Yuan said to them, "Before I begin, I would like to apologize for ssing with you all. I kept my identity hidden because I couldn't let the public know that I am still in Cultivation Online, and I wanted you all to experience what fighting without knowing it's was like."
"W-wait… that voice…" Chu Liuxiang muttered in a dazed voice after recognizing Yuan's voice, as he'd stopped disguising his voice after entering Senior Bai's world.
Yuan removed his mask, revealing his handso face to them.
"Sorry, it was this entire ti," he said with an apologetic smile.
"Y-YUAN?!?!" Kelan scread, sounding like he'd just witnessed his ancestors crawling out of their graves.
"Y-you… it was you this entire ti?!" Shi Lang exclaid.
"Fucking fuck! I knew it! I knew sothing was off!" Wang Ming cried out loud.
"Damn! I really thought there was soone more monstrous than you for a mont there!" Xi Murong sighed loudly.
"Waaaah! You really scared during the fight, Yuan!" Chu Liuxiang went to embrace him.
Xi ili rubbed her eyes and sighed, "I knew your dragon scent was familiar, but there was sothing very different about it, and it threw off."
"Yuan… when did you return?" ixiu asked him.
"A few days before the tournant started. When I left the Primal Expanse, I found myself at the Ning Family's residence, and upon hearing about the Grand Mystic Sect participating in the tournant, I figured I'd wait to see if you guys would show up."
"After confirming that you guys were also participating, I wanted to see how much you guys have grown first-hand, hence my interference."
"Umm… About Sister Jinxi…" Wang Bingbing looked at him with a puzzled expression on her face.
"Ah… yeah… I accidentally killed her. I'd like to personally apologize to her, but I cannot do that." Yuan shook his head.
"What do you an by that?" ixiu asked with a slightly worried tone, sensing sothing was off.
"Before I say anything, ili, Yingying, you're still affected by the Celestial Emperor's curse, so let's have that removed first." Yuan retrieved the Sacred Chalice of Purification.
"W-what kind of treasure is that?" Kelan finally snapped out of his daze and asked him.
"A treasure I acquired in the Primal Expanse. It has the ability to remove curses—including the one the Celestial Emperor placed on every being below the Seventh Heaven. This will allow her to understand our existence as players."
"Such a powerful treasure exists?! The Celestial Emperor's curse isn't an ordinary curse!"
Xi ili and Lan Yingying fed the chalice so of their blood, and a few monts later, they were no longer forced to ignore the existence of players.
Yuan explained their existence to them shortly after.
"Heavens… To think my way of thinking had been controlled by soone without my knowledge this entire ti… how terrifying…" Xi ili shivered from fear after realizing the truth.
"What a horrible thing to do to soone, and they didn't even warn us..." Lan Yingying sighed.
"Alright, now that we're all on the sa page… The Celestial Emperor is targeting for so reason, and my access to the system has been blocked. Basically, I've been banned from Cultivation Online." Yuan revealed.
"W-what the hell? Sothing like that can happen?" Wang Xiuying muttered.
Yuan nodded and continued, "Once soone has their access to the system blocked, they will no longer be able to access Cultivation Online. In other words, they won't be able to enter the Nine Heavens."
"Wait. If that's the case, how are you still here?" Kelan asked.
"Don't ask how or why, but I've been given access to another system, allowing to stay inside Cultivation Online. However, there are a few issues, one of them being that I am no longer allowed to log off and return to Earth."
"What?!" Chu Liuxiang and the others cried out loud.
"This is why I didn't notify any of you of my return and why I cannot apologize to Li Jinxi until she returns to Cultivation Online after her death cooldown."
"If you cannot log out… What are you going to do now?" ixiu asked once everyone comprehended the situation.
"I will need to reestablish the connection between Earth and the Nine Heavens through the Dragon Spiral Mountain as soon as possible, allowing to travel to the Nine Heavens with my real body, and I have to do so without alerting the Celestial Emperor," he said.
