Yuan pointed to a tall tower-like building in the distance and asked, "Is that one of these Breakthrough Towers?"
The woman nodded, "Yes, that would be the tal Tower."
"Where can I find the other towers?"
"They are scattered throughout the Seventh Heaven. Unfortunately, I don't know the exact location of the other towers."
"Is that so? Thank you for the information."
Yuan ended their conversation and made his way toward the tal Tower. As he approached, he noticed that the entire structure was constructed from shiny black tal, its surface gleaming under the light.
anwhile, Tan Songyun wore a pondering expression on her face.
"The Five Breakthrough Towers? Why are they in the Stairway to Heaven? More importantly… what the hell is going on? Did the Stairway to Heaven create such an elaborate world for his trial? I have never heard of anything like this before!"
Suddenly, she sensed a presence behind her. Turning around, she was startled to see a cute child standing there, having appeared silently, almost like a ghost.
"Who are you? And where did you co from?" Tan Songyun asked, as she was certain that nobody else had followed them into the Stairway to Heaven.
"My na is Tian'er, and I have been here since the very beginning, as I am the Stairway to Heaven's spirit," she responded calmly.
"What? The Stairway to Heaven has a spirit?" Tan Songyun's eyes widened at this shocking information.
Tian'er nodded in confirmation and continued, "Master ordered to help clear up any uncertainty you may have, so here I am."
"Master…?"
"The individual partaking in the trial right now is my Master. He is also the creator of the Stairway to Heaven."
"W-wait a second… Tian Kai created the Stairway to Heaven? That's impossible. The Stairway to Heaven existed long before he even ca into existence!" Tan Songyun refuted her claim, using this obvious fact as proof.
"I am not talking about Tian Kai, but an even older reincarnation. Tian Kai is rely one of Master's multiple lives, after all."
"What in heaven's na…?" Tan Songyun was speechless.
However, after so pondering, Tan Songyun realized it wasn't strange for an individual to have reincarnated multiple tis. After all, humans naturally reincarnate each ti they die, provided the soul remains intact.
'Wait a minute… Can I even trust what she's saying? Tian Kai—Yuan is her Master, so he could easily make her lie…' Tan Songyun thought to herself.
"I heard that it was the God of Creation who created the Stairway to Heaven. Are you telling that your Master was the God of Creation in one of his previous lives?" Tan Songyun asked.
Tian'er nodded.
"It's not just the Stairway to Heaven. Master has created many things throughout his life, with many of them still undiscovered to this very day."
Tan Songyun swallowed nervously at such implications.
"Then, can you tell what's going on with his trial? How co it's so different? I know everyone has their own trials, but the disparity isn't this massive." Tan Songyun then inquired.
"For Master, the Stairway to Heaven is not rely a way to travel through the Nine Heavens," Tian'er explained. "It also holds mories of Master's past lives, and the trials help him recover those mories."
"Huh? So what I am looking at right now is actually mories?" Tan Songyun looked at the vast world Yuan was in.
"You're half right," she clarified. "The trials are created from his mories, but they are only fragnts pieced together, like parts of a puzzle. They don't directly mirror his actual mories."
After taking a long mont to digest the information given, Tan Songyun asked, "Whose mories am I looking at right now?"
However, Tian'er shook her head and said, "Unfortunately, I cannot answer that."
"Why not? Are you afraid that I might know too much?"
Tian'er shook her head once again and clarified, "No. There are just so things I am not allowed to say. If you really wish to know, you can ask Master later."
anwhile, Yuan continued asking several pedestrians about the tal Tower as he approached his destination. He was particularly curious to know if there were any negative rumors about the place. However, everyone he spoke to praised the tal Tower, describing its reputation as sparkling clean. While that might seem reassuring on the surface, Yuan couldn't help but beco suspicious.
After all, it could all be a facade—a carefully crafted mask to conceal the true evil lurking within. Yet, Yuan had no way to know for sure without visiting the tal Tower himself.
The tal Tower appeared close at first glance, but it was actually several days away. Now, standing before it several days later, Yuan realized just how massive it truly was. Not only was the tower so tall that it pierced the clouds, but its interior was vast enough to house a large community of tens of thousands of people simultaneously.
The massive entrance, notably without doors, bustled with a steady stream of people entering and leaving.
After stepping inside the tower, Yuan quickly noticed that the entire first floor resembled a bustling shopping mall, filled with hundreds of stores and even personal stalls offering a wide variety of treasures.
After looking around for so ti, Yuan approached one of the rchants and asked, "Excuse , I am trying to join the tal Tower. Where can I go to sign up?"
The best way to gain information about a place was to join them, after all.
However, the rchant rely sneered in disguise at Yuan and said, "Who do you think you are? The tal Tower doesn't just accept anybody."
"I am a blacksmith, and I am very confident in my skills."
"Hahaha! You're truly an ignorant one, aren't you? To make laugh, I'll tell you sothing. Talent alone won't get you into the tal Tower. Unless you know soone on the inside, you'll need to increase your reputation—enough to get the tal Tower to notice you." The man gestured at the weapons he'd personally crafted before him.
"The fastest way to gain reputation is to showcase your weapons here, just like many of us are doing."
