When Yuan erged from his seclusion, he was pleasantly surprised to learn that Xi ili and Tan Songyun had finally arrived at the Immortal Monastery.
"So the only one left is Yingzi, huh?"
If Yuan had to be honest, he was the most worried about Yingzi, as she was new to cultivation in the Nine Heavens. Moreover, she isn't even familiar with humans, much less their lifestyles. Yuan could imagine Yingzi having a hard ti adapting to the quotas in the Bamboo Garden.
"I must ask, how many points do you currently have?" Xi ili asked Yuan as they sat in his room.
"Near zero since I just spent all of them," Yuan said. "However, I had 750,000 points before that."
"750,000?!?!" Everyone in the room exclaid in shock. The rest of the participants had just begun entering the Hunting Grounds to farm for points, yet Yuan had already earned and spent 750,000 in one go. It was an astronomical amount of points that they couldn't even begin to comprehend.
"How in heaven's na did you earn that many points? Did you threaten soone for them?" Tan Songyun asked with wide eyes.
"You can get points by selling materials of magical beasts to the point store. You get about 100 per kill as Spirit Apprentice. Once you reach Spirit Warrior, you can expect around 500 per kill," Yuan explained his thods.
However, even if everyone knew his thod, not everyone could replicate it. After all, most participants have to pair up to fight a single magical beast, and they'd need to split the points. Yuan was fighting alone, so he could easily keep all points for himself.
"By the way, here's a little sothing."
Yuan retrieved four Golden Spirit Pills from his spatial ring and continued, "These will make your life a little easier."
"What is that?" Xi ili asked.
"That's the Golden Spirit Pill. Although not by much, it can boost one's cultivation talents," Ji Ran explained.

Ji Ran then said, "I appreciate the offer, Young Master, but I have already purchased and consud the Golden Spirit Pill myself. You can save mine for Yingzi."
In the Immortal Monastery, Ji Ran's progress was only second to Yuan, which was expected, as he was once the sect leader of the Immortal Monastery.
Xi ili and Lan Yingying accepted the Golden Spirit Pill. As for Tan Songyun, she hesitated to receive Yuan's assistance out of pride.
However, she eventually accepted the Golden Spirit Pill.
"Thank you…" she mumbled. Soti later, just as everyone prepared to leave Yuan's place, they heard a familiar voice being broadcast through voice transmission, allowing all of the participants to hear it no matter where they were.
"The Immortal Monastery will be hosting its Entry-level Immortal Exchange in half a year. Only Outer Court disciples and those below Spirit Master may participate. The winner of this tournant will be granted 1,000,000 points and the treasure Translucent Dew of Flawlessness. However, you will need 25,000 points to participate in the tournant. You are only allowed to use your own points to participate. Moreover, you will gain one contribution for every victory."
Once the announcent ended, Ji Ran said, "That was the founder's voice."
"Entry-level Immortal Exchange, huh? Will you be participating, Yuan?" Xi ili turned to look at him, who calmly nodded.
There was no way he'd miss the chance to acquire the Translucent Dew of Flawlessness, which would help him achieve an Untainted Body and speed his cultivation speed trendously.

"We're too far behind, after all," Ji Ran sighed.

Tan Songyun didn't say anything, but she also planned on skipping the tournant. As enticing as the rewards were, she knew she wouldn't defeat Yuan, who was an entire realm ahead of her.
If she joined the tournant, she'd only be wasting 25,000 points.

Yuan shook his head and said, "That's not necessarily true. If only those like us are allowed to participate, then I will most likely win it without any competition. However, they didn't say anything about only allowing us to participate, so it's safe to assu the other disciples will also be participating."
"The Young Master is right. The founder wouldn't give such a generous reward so easily," Ji Ran said.
"By the way, even if you know you won't win the tournant, I think you should still participate for the contribution, which you will need to beco an Inner Court disciple," Yuan then said.
"But 25,000 points is a lot…" Xi ili sighed.
"There are many ways to earn points, but contribution is a different story. We might only be able to acquire contributions through events such as this one. In such a case, we'd want to participate in all of them, regardless if we win or lose."
Yuan's logical take on the situation instantly made everyone in the room reconsider their decision. Although 25,000 points may be a lot, they could earn it back with enough effort. However, contribution was a different story. If they could not beco an Inner Court disciple due to lack of contribution, even a billion points would be pointless.
"Alright, I'll participate in the event and earn as much contribution as possible," Xi ili said after pondering for a mont.
Lan Yingying and Ji Ran nodded their heads in agreent.
Soti later, everyone left Yuan's living quarters to continue their training. As for Yuan, he returned to the Hunting Grounds to continue slaying magical beasts for points.
