Shortly later, Yuan began his trial, which was supposed to be ant for the Seventh Heaven.
When the trial began, Yuan found himself in an unusual location. He was not in the wilderness or a city. Instead, he was surrounded by the void with countless stars flickering in the distance.
He was outside the Nine Heavens in the Starry Sky.
"I have to survive for a whole year?" Yuan raised his eyebrows after seeing the trial.
The very next mont, before he could even start to ponder, Yuan sensed hundreds of powerful presences appearing behind him.
When he turned around, he could see an army of people chasing after him. However, most of their cultivation was between Bronze Immortal and Silver Immortal, with a few Golden Immortals.
Seeing this, the thought of escaping didn't even cross Yuan's mind. Wielding Number One Under Heaven in his grasp, he charged at the incoming army of cultivators with a calm smile on his face, looking like he was going on a stroll in the park.

Four months later, at the Gates of Heaven, the Holy Sword Maiden finally finished her second trial and returned to the platform.
When she looked at the ranking, her eyes widened with shock.
"900 points?! What did he do to acquire so many points?!" The Holy Sword Maiden muttered in a dumbfounded voice, completely unaware that Yuan had long passed the Sword Emperor Qualifications and earned his title as Sword Emperor.
After realizing that she had no chance of catching up, the Holy Sword Maiden didn't imdiately rush to the third trial. Instead, she sat down and used what little ti she had to rest.
Seven days later, just as the Holy Sword Maiden entered the third trial, the Holy Sword King finished his trial and returned to the platform.
He was just as bewildered as the Holy Sword Maiden when he saw the ranking, but he also felt much more irritated.

Instead of resting like the Holy Sword Maiden, the Holy Sword King imdiately went into the third trial.
As for the Heavenly Son, he'd managed to pass the 110th floor of the Endless Pagoda. While he was still climbing, the ti it took to pass each floor increased with every floor.

However, in the very next mont, Yuan sensed an unfathomable pressure descend upon Dragon Spiral Mountain, causing the air around him to tremble.
When he looked up, he saw a half-naked, strikingly handso man hovering above Dragon Spiral Mountain, his long golden hair flowing behind him like a river of light.
"The Great One…" Yuan mumbled, recognizing this man almost instantly.
"Immortal Monarch!" the Great One suddenly declared, his voice thundering like a lightning strike. "I have co to defeat you and to claim Dragon Goddess Yeyou! A human like you is not worthy of her!"
