Yuan had no choice but to continue waiting when his communication with the Nether Wraiths failed.
Several more days passed by without any information.
"Are you sure we're not being scamd?" Lev remarked with a bored look on his face.
"Have so patience," Yuan said as he cultivated his Soul Strength.
"Hey."
Supre Ruler Dena suddenly approached him and called out.
"What is it?" Yuan asked, his eyes still closed.
"I think this is a good ti to feed your blood," she calmly said.
"..."
Yuan was speechless.
"It will also help recover so of my strength," she continued, trying to convince him.
Yuan opened one of his eyes to look at her face and said in a sighing voice, "You still dare to ask for blood after causing all of this trouble? Even if I give you my blood now, you'll only recover a little of your strength—not nearly enough to help our current situation."
"I might recover enough to use Void Manipulation to take us out of here," she said without an ounce of sha on her face.
Yuan pondered for a mont, but before he could give her an answer, he suddenly stopped his cultivation and opened both eyes.
"She's back," he said.
The next mont, a familiar presence appeared. However, sothing about it felt different, even though it clearly belonged to the Queen Wraith of Demise.
Soon, Yuan realized why it felt so different. Her appearance had changed. Instead of her ghostly, spectral form, she now stood before them in a human vessel—a beautiful woman with an alluring figure, black hair, pale skin, and violet eyes.
"Are you… the Queen Wraith of Demise…?" Lev almost couldn't believe his eyes asked.
"Indeed, I am," she calmly replied.
"Where did you get that vessel? And did you really just leave to change your form?" Yuan then asked.
"This vessel belonged to soone who perished in this place a few billion years ago. I decided to use it since it no longer has an owner," she answered.
"Did you kill her?" Yuan raised an eyebrow.
"Does it matter?" The Queen Wraith of Demise shrugged off his question before continuing, "As for why I have decided to take this form, it's simply because the place I will be taking you requires it. Without this vessel, I am unable to get close to it."
"Is the place that dangerous? What do you even need my help with?"
"You will know once we get there. Now, enough chattering and follow ."
Without giving them an opportunity to respond, the Queen Wraith of Demise turned around and began flying away.
Half of the Nether Wraiths followed her while the other half remained to watch over Yuan and his group to ensure they wouldn't run away.
"Let's go," Yuan said as he followed the wraiths with a calm deanor.
anwhile, Lev was shaking in his boots—not because of the situation, but because of the subtle aura Supre Ruler Dena was emitting.
"There's no need to pout," Yuan suddenly spoke without looking back. "I'll let you suck my blood as we travel since it'll probably take so ti."
Hearing his words, the displeasure on her face vanished in an instant, replaced by a delighted expression.
The next instant, Supre Ruler Dena flew right behind Yuan before wrapping her legs around his waist, clinging to his back like a kuala hugging a tree.
"What the…?" Lev's eyes nearly popped out of their sockets after seeing Supre Ruler Dena's shocking actions that were definitely not befitting of soone with her status.
Then, with a single smooth motion, as if she'd done this a million tis before, she loosened the robe around Yuan's neck. Without hesitation, she sank her canine teeth—sharper and longer than a human's—into his neck, drawing blood.
Despite Yuan's powerful physique that could repel even top-quality treasures, Supre Ruler Dena's teeth very easily penetrated his skin and flesh.
When Supre Ruler Dena's teeth entered his neck, Yuan could instantly feel his blood being consud at a rapid rate, faster than even a severed arm would expel.
"Slow down, or you'll kill ," he hastily said, even though his regeneration was keeping up with his blood loss.
Queen Wraith of Demise glanced back when she noticed their actions, but after looking for a brief mont, she lost interest and no longer cared, as it was ordinary for demons to drink blood and eat flesh.
After she began her feasting, Supre Ruler Dena did not stop sucking for an hour straight.
Seeing this, Lev couldn't help but drool, the scent of Yuan's blood wafting into his nose.
'Fuck! Why does his blood sll so damn good?! I have never slled anything this delicious before!' he cried inwardly.
However, as much as he wanted to also take a bite at Yuan's neck, he knew that if he couldn't control his urges, he'd likely end up being killed by Supre Ruler Dena.
An hour later, Supre Ruler Dena finally removed her mouth from Yuan's neck and took a deep breath.
"Hey, your blood tastes different from before," she remarked afterward.
"How so?" Yuan asked.
"It's much more delicious!" she replied before reaching for his neck and licking the leftover blood.
"Can I drink more?" she asked, then added a second later, "I'll let you drink my blood later in return."
"?!?!?"
It wasn't Yuan who was shocked by Supre Ruler Dena's seemingly casual remark, but Lev, who looked even more stunned than when she had clung to Yuan earlier.
A Supre Ruler's blood was unimaginably sought after for its ability to strengthen other demons. However, throughout history, the number of tis a Supre Ruler had shared their blood could be counted on one's fingers, despite the many who had held that position.
"Your blood, huh?" Even though he was human, Yuan didn't imdiately dismiss such an offer, as he had never tasted the blood of a Supre Ruler before, even as Tian Chenyu. In fact, he was actually very intrigued by its taste and whether it would benefit him.
