"We're being watched already? We just entered…" Lev shook his head when he sensed the gazes as well.
"Let them watch," said Yuan. "We won't have a problem unless they attack us."
A few days later, they were attacked for the first ti. Unsurprisingly, it was a Forsaken, one at the 7th level False God.
"Devour."
Yuan wasted no ti retrieving the Demon Devouring Sword and feeding the Forsaken to it.
"That sword's ability terrifies no matter how many tis I see it," Lev comnted as his body trembled. "Where the hell did you acquire that sword, anyway?"
"This used to be an ordinary sword, but after being soaked in demon blood for so long, it evolved into a treasure."
"What? Is such a thing possible? We barely use weapons, so I had no idea."
He also wanted to ask how many demons Yuan killed in order for the sword to transform, but he was too afraid to do so and decided against it.
After traveling for another two days without any incident, Yuan and his group were suddenly ambushed by a group of eight Forsakens.
"How foolish of you to enter this domain with your puny cultivation!"
"Three first-level False Gods? Talk about a free al!"
"Hahaha! That woman is mine!"
Supre Ruler Dena had suppressed her cultivation to the first-level False God, so the Forsaken were unaware of her true cultivation, not that it really mattered in any way.
Yuan retrieved the Demon Devouring Sword, but before he could make a move, Supre Ruler Dena spoke, "Let handle them."
In the next instant, her hair lashed out with terrifying speed, piercing through every demon like a volley of spears in the blink of an eye.
Though caught off guard by her sudden assault, the demons showed no signs of panic.
However, in the very next mont, their bodies began to contort and coil unnaturally, as though being drawn in—being devoured by Supre Ruler Dena's hair.
"W-What is this?!"
"She's devouring us!"
The demons struggled and tried to cut her hair, but their efforts were futile. Within re seconds, their bodies withered, shriveling into wrinkled husks, as though all their blood and bones had been drained from them, looking like dried raisins.
Lev swallowed nervously at their horrific state. It was also at this mont that he recalled Supre Ruler Dena's second na—Crimson Goddess of Gluttony.
"Ugh. Disgusting." Supre Ruler Dena stuck her tongue out and complained with a deep frown on her face, looking like soone who accidentally ate rotten food.
"I need so of your blood to cleanse this bad taste in my mouth," she turned to Yuan and said, her eyes glistening with anticipation.
Yuan had a faint suspicion that this had been her intention all along, but he chose to play along nonetheless and fed her so of his blood.
"I'll take care of the trash from now on. You need to reserve your strength for when we really need it," he then said.
"That took as much effort as breathing," she replied with a shrug.
"You can keep killing them if you want, but don't expect to feed you blood every ti."
"…Fine, you can take care of them."
A few weeks later, Supre Ruler Dena suddenly ca to a halt.
"We've arrived," she said.
She pointed toward a concealed valley nestled between two mountains and continued, "They should be there."
"I don't sense any presence," Lev remarked.
"That's because there's a powerful concealnt formation enveloping that entire area," Yuan said.
He turned to Supre Ruler Dena and asked, "How should we approach them?" "They're an annoying bunch that will try to intimidate you at any opportunity. However, they're also prone to it. In simpler terms, just act like you own the place and they'll listen."
"Sounds simple enough." A cold smile tugged at Yuan's lips.
"I'll lead the way."
In the next mont, Yuan shot forward, flying straight toward the concealed area and entering the formation without a hint of hesitation.
The instant he passed through it, the illusion unraveled, revealing rows of towering structures that seed to materialize out of thin air before his eyes.
Then, he unleashed both his Chaotic Essence and Demon Sealing Aura, their oppressive might sweeping across the entire valley like a storm.
Almost instantly, hundreds of silhouettes poured out from the buildings, converging toward him, and within monts, Yuan found himself completely surrounded.
"Who the fuck are you?! And what are you trying to pull with such an offensive announcent?!"
Yuan looked at the demon who just spoke and said in a cold voice, "My identity does not matter. All you need to know is that I am here to buy information."
"Then you can screw right off! We don't do business with—"
Before the demon could even finish his sentence, Yuan appeared before him like a ghost, his movent imperceptible.
In the next instant, he seized the demon by the throat and infused just enough Demon Sealing Aura into his body to seal half of his body.
"My hearing hasn't been the best lately, so can you repeat that?" Yuan said, exuding real killing intent.
"T-That power! He's a Sealer?!"
"What?! That's impossible! They were all executed long ago!"
So of the demons there recognized Yuan's power and exclaid, alerting the others.
"So what if he's a Sealer?! He dared to attack us, the Abyssal Council! Let's get him!"
"That's right! There's no way he can handle all of us! He's just a first-level False God, too!"
Just as so of the demons prepared to attack, a loud voice bood, echoing throughout the entire valley.
"Enough! None of you will move a single muscle from this point forth, unless you want to die!"
The next mont, a lone figure erged from one of the buildings and flew toward Yuan, stopping just before him.
Yuan narrowed his eyes at the newcor. He was a tall man with short white hair, bearing no visible demonic traits and appearing entirely human.
The demon then spoke in a sowhat nervous voice, "You… Does your na, by any chance, start with 'Tian'?"
