Yuan approached Supre Ruler Dena's building and loudly knocked on it.
"Hey, Dena, I am done with my seclusion."
A few monts later, the door opened, and Supre Ruler Dena stepped outside with a nonchalant look on her face.
"Less than twenty years, huh?" she mumbled in a low voice.
A stiff smile tugged at Yuan's lips as he said, "I underestimated the Primal Sovereign of the Seas' Blood Essence. Sorry."
Although a hundred years was nothing to demons, especially one as ancient as Supre Ruler Dena, Yuan felt bad making them wait so long.
"How is your recovery, by the way?" Yuan then asked her.
"I recovered about 5 percent of my strength, I guess," she calmly replied.
"…"
Although five percent might seem insignificant given the ti that had passed, one had to rember just how powerful Supre Ruler Dena truly was, because even a re five percent of her strength was enough to utterly dominate multiple True Gods at once.
"What about you? Are you satisfied with your cultivation?" Supre Ruler Dena then asked him.
Yuan nodded, "Yes."
"Or do you want to consu so of my blood before we head to the City of Blood?" she continued.
Yuan raised an eyebrow, as he'd forgotten about her offer.
"I don't even know if I will benefit from absorbing your blood since I am not a demon. I have tried demon blood before out of curiosity, but nothing happened. A demon's core, on the other hand… not that I am asking for yours."
"My blood is different from your ordinary demon's blood. You won't know what effects it will have on you until you try it."
"In that case…"
However, before Yuan could finish his sentence, he suddenly noticed a presence quickly approaching their location.
Soon, this presence revealed himself to be the Grand Abyssal Elder.
"We have a situation!" the Grand Abyssal Elder shouted before he could even land.
"What happened?" Yuan asked.
"We're surrounded!" "Surrounded?" Yuan repeated with a raised eyebrow.
Then, he spread his divine sense until he could see a large group of demons surrounding their valley, all of them being True Gods.
"Who are they?" Yuan asked, narrowing his eyes. "Their attire… it looks sowhat familiar."
This ti, it was Supre Ruler Dena who answered instead of the Grand Abyssal Elder.
"The Elite Execution Squad and the Special Execution Squad," she said. "They are specialized enforcers tasked with handling the most extre cases—situations beyond the capability of ordinary forces. And they answer only to the Supre Ruler."
"Is that so? I guess the current Supre Ruler sent them here after learning of your escape from the Deprived Crimson Valley," Yuan said with a calm smile.
"What should we do?" she asked.
Yuan looked at the Grand Abyssal Elder and asked, "I should've probably asked earlier, but did they say what they wanted? There's a slight chance that they aren't here for us."
However, the Grand Abyssal Elder shook his head and said, "No, they are definitely here for you. They first inquired about your group, and when we denied any knowledge, they imdiately surrounded us without a word."
"What do you think?" Yuan asked Supre Ruler Dena.
"They know they can't defeat , so they're probably going to try and stall for ti until the current Supre Ruler shows up."
"Oh? So the Supre Ruler will show up without needing us to travel to the City of Blood? How convenient," Yuan smiled.
"What do you want to do? Wait for him to show up, or leave this place before he arrives?" she then asked.
Yuan pondered for a mont before responding, "Let's have a chat with this special squad."
The next mont, he flew out of the valley to confront the Execution Squads.
When the Execution Squads initially saw Yuan, they didn't think much of him and thought he was from the Abyssal Council. However, their expressions and attitude changed when Yuan asked them, "So, how did you figure out Supre Ruler Dena was here?"
"?!?!?!"
Their eyes widened in disbelief the mont Yuan uttered Supre Ruler Dena's na so casually. They froze in place, as though their minds refused to process what they had just heard. Then, realization struck.
Without hesitation, they distanced themselves from him, panic flashing across their faces as they anticipated the Demon God's Wrath.
"This lunatic! He's trying to drag us down with him!"
The Execution Squad mbers fled as though their lives depended on it despite being True Gods.
Yet, after putting a great distance between themselves and Yuan, and as ti passed with no sign of divine retribution, confusion began to set in.
"Huh? Where's the Demon God's Wrath?"
They looked toward the still sky with raised eyebrows.
anwhile, Yuan continued to ss with them and shouted loudly, "DID YOU NOT HEAR ? I ASKED HOW YOU KNEW SUPRE RULER DENA WAS HERE! SUPRE RULER DENA, I SAID!"
"This crazy son of a bitch!"
The Execution Squads distanced themselves from Yuan even more.
"..."
"..."
"..."
"What the hell is going on?! Where is the Demon God's Wrath?! Why isn't it striking him down?!"
Seeing this puzzling situation, the demons felt an urge to say Supre Ruler Dena's na to see if sothing was wrong with their law.
"Supre Ruler Dena! Supre Ruler Dena! Supre Ruler Dena!!!" Yuan started repeating her na over and over again like a broken recorder.
Eventually, one of the demons from the Execution Squad could no longer contain their curiosity and uttered her na.
"Supre Ruler Dena…?"
The demon felt a wave of excitent course through his body from uttering a forbidden word, feeling like a child who'd purposefully done sothing mischievous.
However, that excitent vanished the next mont when the sky above him began to twist.
"D-Demon God's Wrath?!"
"What the hell?! Why did it activate for but not that bastard?!" The demon exclaid in disbelief.
The demon wanted to complain more, but it had no ti, as the Demon God's Wrath struck the next second, instantly vaporizing it.
