"I…I…" Purple hesitated, struggling to ask Yuan to carry her. After all, she had rejected his offer earlier, and now the thought of asking for his help felt sowhat embarrassing.
"Are you tired?" Yuan asked with a smile on his face, and he continued, "I don't mind carrying you, but you'll need to ask nicely, considering how rude you were before."
"Wha—! I wasn't being rude! I was rely being realistic!" she exclaid, defending herself. "Who in their right mind would trust a first-level False God to use Void Manipulation properly?! Not a single True God out there! Especially when we're enemies!"
"You see as an enemy?" Yuan remarked with a chuckle. "Unfortunately, you don't qualify."
"I don't qualify? Big talk for so who is just livestock!"
"Livestock?" Yuan raised an eyebrow.
Yuan had been so focused on his training that he completely forgot about Supre Ruler Dena, who had been feasting on his blood this whole ti.
"You're still drinking my blood? Aren't you satisfied by now?" Yuan asked her, who was still sucking away without a care in the world.
Supre Ruler Dena removed her lips from his neck and licked it clean before replying, "The more I drink your blood, the tastier it tastes. It is like I am having a different al with each mouthful, and I cannot get enough of it!"
"But is it helping with your recovery?" he asked.
"Yes. If I continue drinking your blood, I should recover at least 70 percent of my strength by the ti we arrive at the City of Blood."
Purple raised an eyebrow after overhearing their conversation and thought to herself, 'She's injured…?'
That's when Purple realized she had made a grave mistake. Had she not attempted to stall them, Supre Ruler Dena would have arrived at the City of Blood in a weakened state, making her far easier to deal with.
Unfortunately, it was a misstep she could no longer correct without raising suspicion. If she suddenly urged them to use a teleportation formation to hasten their arrival, it would only make her intentions all the more questionable.
Purple felt like kicking herself in the butt over her mistake, unaware that Yuan was already expecting an ambush in the City of Blood.
"In that case, drink as much as you want." Yuan said to her before looking at Purple again and resuming their conversation in a nonchalant manner, "So, do you want to carry you or not?"
Purple gritted her teeth and silently nodded her head.
Yuan tilted his head slightly, turning his ear toward her as he cupped a hand behind it. "What was that? I didn't quite catch it."
Purple clenched her fists in frustration before speaking loudly, "Can you take with you?! Please!"
Without another word, Yuan activated Void Manipulation and resud his training with an additional training load.
Although a single additional individual may not seem like a lot, Yuan could instantly feel a difference, and he was no longer able to traverse as much distance as before.
However, it also sped up his progress, so he didn't complain and even welcod it.
'At the rate he's improving and our pace, we will arrive at the City of Blood in less than five hundred years!' Purple thought to herself.
A few years later—
The mont Yuan's Void Manipulation reached a new level, he could instantly traverse ten thousand miles with a single leap through the void.
However, even with his Void Manipulation reaching a new level, his Advanced Void Understanding has barely approached the next level.
"Hey, Dena, how do you train your Void Manipulation?" Yuan suddenly asked her.
She stopped feasting on his blood to respond, "Do you want to see it?"
He quickly nodded.
Supre Ruler Dena then got off his back and said, "Watch carefully."
She activated Void Manipulation and vanished into the void. Yet, even after several monts had passed, she did not return.
Yuan raised a brow and followed after her, stepping into the void to see what she was doing.
Within that formless expanse, he was t with a shocking sight—Supre Ruler Dena stood utterly defenseless, allowing the void itself to tear her body apart.
Normally, one would manipulate the void carefully, ensuring it never ca into contact with their body, as the void itself was inherently destructive, capable of eroding anything it touched.
However, Supre Ruler Dena did the opposite. She allowed it to ravage her freely, relying on her superior regeneration to outpace the damage and continuously restore her body.
"I find it easier to understand it when I am touching it," she calmly explained. "But it might be different for you."
"Heavens… how did I never think of such a simple training thod before?" Yuan muttered in a daze. Sotis the simplest ideas are the easiest to overlook.
The next mont, Yuan stopped pushing away the void and allowed it to ravage his body. The instant it touched his skin, he felt himself being torn apart, and not just his flesh ripping, but his entire body being destroyed and vaporized by an unstoppable force.
Even with his imnse tolerance for pain, the agony was almost unbearable. Still, the results were worth it, as his Void Manipulation and Void Comprehension advanced at a remarkable pace.
However, since Yuan's Void Manipulation was nowhere near Supre Ruler Dena's level, he was only able to remain in the void for about half an hour before he had to exit and enter again.
"I am going to train like this for a few years," Yuan suddenly declared.
Supre Ruler Dena then asked, "Does that an I won't be able to drink your blood?"
"It'll only be for a few years."
"Fine…" Supre Ruler Dena muttered, but then her eyes flickered, as if she thought of sothing.
"In that case, I'll use this ti to prepare my blood for you."
"Oh?"
"I promised that I'd let you taste my blood if you let drink yours, after all."
