Yuan raised an eyebrow after hearing Owen's words.
'He's not aware that Dena left the Deprived Crimson Valley long ago? I guess he hasn't returned to the Crimson Continent in a long ti.'
'Since he doesn't know anything… let's try to extract as much information from him as possible.'
"Dena is in the Deprived Crimson Valley? Isn't that place ant for Forsakens? Why would she be there?" Yuan asked with a puzzled face, acting ignorant of the whole situation and pretending like he'd just returned.
"You really don't know?" Owen questioned with a suspicious look.
"Well, I just ca back, and I am kind of lost, as I am still unfamiliar with this world. Fortunately, I ran into you by coincidence… or is this fate?"
'What a pain in the ass…' Owen cursed inwardly.
Although he never had much interaction with Tian Chenyu, since he was always by Supre Ruler Dena's side, Owen had no choice but to spend several thousand years around Tian Chenyu, so he was familiar with Tian Chenyu's character and how difficult he was in the past.
"So, what happened to Dena for her to be exiled to the Deprived Crimson Valley?" Yuan suddenly asked.
"There's only one… or two reasons why anyone would be sent to that place. Either they've turned into Forsaken or committed a grave cri. In her case, she was sent there for both reasons."
"Dena turned into a Forsaken? That's hard to believe." Yuan said with a frown. "And what kind of cri did she commit?"
"The worst kind of cri a Supre Ruler could commit—the betrayal and murder of her own people. She killed everyone in the City of Blood after becoming a Forsaken."

Yuan fell silent for a mont before speaking again, "How long ago was this? If Dena killed everyone, why are you still alive? And what are you doing in the middle of nowhere?"
"This happened billions of years ago. I only survived because I was out on a mission when it happened…"
After a brief pause, Owen continued, "As for what I am doing here… that is none of your business."
"None of my business?" Yuan repeated as a cold feeling started oozing from his presence. "Bold words for soone who was nearly beaten to death by in the past," he said, referring to their first encounter.
Before Supre Ruler Dena arrived to stop him during his massacre, it was Owen who had tried to stop him first.
Of course, Owen had been beaten to the brink of death by Tian Chenyu, forcing Supre Ruler Dena to intervene.
Owen laughed out loud, "Don't think you can scare anymore, Tian Chenyu! I am no longer afraid of you! After Supre Ruler Dena was exiled, I took her place and beca the next Supre Ruler! Not only that, but I have the backing of powerful beings that you cannot even begin to comprehend!"
Yuan raised an eyebrow and remarked, "Backing from a powerful being? Even though you are a Supre Ruler? How does that make any sense at all? I thought Supre Rulers are already the strongest beings in the Demonic Realm."
"Hahaha! This world… no, this universe is much larger than you can imagine! Being a Supre Ruler may seem impressive at first, but they are nowhere near the peak! Just like you, I was a frog in a well until I was chosen!"
"Chosen? By whom? The Demon God?" "Oh?"
Owen wore a look of surprise on his face.
"How surprising. I didn't think you'd actually guess it on your first try."

Yuan fell silent, baffled by the turn of events. He was fairly certain the Demon God had no involvent with Owen, so it was likely that another Eternal was impersonating the Demon God to manipulate Owen into doing their bidding.
'To think Owen would betray the Transcendents only to be fooled by an Eternal…'
However, as borderline impossible as it was, Yuan couldn't ignore the sliver of chance that the Demon God might actually be involved.
"Why would the Demon God choose you? And to do what, exactly?" Yuan then inquired.
"Once again, that is none of your business."
"You're right. It is none of my business what you do with the Demon God, but I am intrigued, as I have spoken with—and even t the Demon God before."
"What?!" Owen's eyes widened with disbelief at Yuan's words.
"Lies! Why would the Demon God speak with you, much less et you in person?! Do you have any evidence of your claims?!"
"You make it sound like the Demon God is only allowed to speak to you," Yuan shook his head. "As for evidence… I could ask you the sa question."
Without hesitation, Owen retrieved an object from his Spatial Ring and displayed it with a proud grin.
"This! This proves that I am chosen by the Demon God!" Owen declared.
Yuan's eyes widened at the sight of this object, but it was not because he recognized the item. Rather, it was the familiar energy it was emitting.
The item in Owen's grasp appeared to be an ordinary tal coin the size of his palm, but it was exuding what was clearly Eternal Essence.
'That is clearly a treasure, but this is my first ti seeing a treasure with Eternal Essence…' Yuan thought to himself.
Then, he recalled sothing Shiva had once told him—that most treasures within the Nine Heavens were forged by Eternals, and that all of them were incomplete. A finished treasure simply could not exist there, as the Absolute Power would not allow it.
Upon rembering this information, Yuan realized that the treasure in Owen's grasp was very likely one of these complete treasures—a treasure that surpassed Celestial-grade treasures.
"Do you sense the godly energy within this treasure?" Owen suddenly spoke. "This is a power that can only be wielded by God! This is what the Demon God bestowed !"
After a brief pause, he continued in a grim voice, "With that said, I was instructed to never reveal this treasure to anyone. Since you've already seen it… I have no choice but to kill you now."
