When the Demon Sealers heard his words that were no different than blasphemy in their ears, they cursed at him, including Qian Chu's supporters, which didn't surprise Yan Hara's supporters in the slightest.

However, she would not encounter another demon again until the end of the fifth day. Yet, at the pace she was sealing demons, her points were still in a safe position.
As the sun began to rise on the sixth day, Yan Hara sensed a powerful presence quickly approaching her direction.
"What a powerful presence!" Yan Hara muttered in surprise.
There was no doubt that this presence belonged to the one and only Demon Emperor in the Demon Slaying Parade.
However, Yan Hara wasn't sure what to think of its appearance.
"Did Qian Chu send the Demon Emperor to because he thinks it would be able to stop ?" she wondered out loud.
"And this presence… why does it feel familiar?"
Soon, the Demon Emperor arrived before her.

Yan Hara did not imdiately attack and silently observed it with narrowed eyes.
The Demon Emperor did the sa, almost as if it were waiting for Yan Hara to act first.
Even without exchanging blows or words, Yan Hara could sense that sothing about the demon before her was different… unsettlingly so.
Artificial demons, while realistic and capable of radiating intense malice and bloodlust, always felt hollow in so indescribable way. Yet the demon standing before her felt disturbingly alive, as though it were a genuine demon.

Even though Yan Hara believed Qian Chu would stoop to any low to preserve his position, she never imagined he would be capable of commanding a real Demon Emperor, much less smuggling one into the Demon Slaying Parade with so many spectators.
It was almost as if he no longer cared about keeping his image.
"So you are the Divine Paragon's successor, huh? Where is the Divine Paragon right now?" The Demon Emperor suddenly spoke to Yan Hara through voice transmission, startling her.
"W-What are you talking about?" Yan Hara subconsciously responded.
"There's no need to play dumb. I know that the Divine Paragon is still alive," said the Demon Emperor, dumbfounding Yan Hara even more.
"You are…" Yan Hara snapped out of her daze and finally realized why the demon's presence felt so familiar.
"You are the Demon Emperor I fought during the Supre Demon Sealer's Qualification!" Yan Hara exclaid in disbelief.
"Oh? You recognize even though I have changed my appearance? Not bad…" Demon Emperor Carnage remarked with a calm smile.
Soon, the Demon Emperor arrived before her.
"Why are you—" Yan Hara wanted to ask what he was doing there but cut herself off when she realised that she already knew the answer to that question.
"So even a Demon Emperor like you is working for Qian Chu, huh? Makes even more curious about his true identity!"
"Working for Qian Chu?" Demon Emperor Carnage burst out laughing. "I am a Demon Emperor! I have no need to work for anyone, nor have I ever worked for Qian Chu!" "Then what are you doing here?" Yan Hara frowned.
"I wanted to et the Divine Paragon's successor and… devour them!" Demon Emperor Carnage said with a cold smile. "Devour …?" Yan Hara echoed, a similar smile tugging at her lips. "Ever since that disastrous incident, I've wanted to fight you again and erase that humiliation. To think I would get the chance so soon!"
"You may be the Divine Paragon's successor, but you are far from being my match!" Demon Emperor Carnage launched the first strike.
"Rain of Carnage!" "Demon Sealing Zone!"
As Yan Hara and Demon Emperor Carnage began their clash, Qian Chu stopped his hunt and turned to look in their direction.
