Hearing ifeng’s gasping voice, Yuan spoke with a smile on his face, "Even if my childhood was taken away from , at least I still have my future, and I won’t give up until I can personally leave this bed with my own strength."
"Young Master... you... are you really..." ifeng almost couldn’t believe what had just happened.
Did he just move his fingers? Even if it was just slightly, that is a huge improvent and a hopeful sign that he might actually recover in the future!
"Yes, I am really recovering. But please keep this a secret for now, as I want it to be a surprise for ixiu and Yu Rou." Yuan said in a low voice.
"I will keep it a secret! I won’t tell a single soul even if it’s the last thing I do, I promise!" ifeng nodded her head with excitent, causing the tears on her face to drop faster.
After spending a few minutes wiping her tears and calming down, ifeng spoke, "Young Master, what do you plan on doing now that you’re no longer part of the Yu Family? While you’re definitely recovering, it’s going to be difficult without the Yu Family’s support and resources."
And she continued, "If you need money, just let know and I’ll do my best to support you."
"It’s okay, Miss ifeng. I already have a plan. However, I am worried about one thing."
"What are you worried about, Young Master? Is there anything I can do to help?"
"I don’t know if you can help or not, but I am worried that ixiu might get in trouble if the Yu Family learns that she’s helping , which might affect you as well, and I don’t want that to happen. Do you know of any solutions?" Yuan asked her.

To Yuan’s surprise, ifeng actually began chuckling at his question, and he wondered if he’d said sothing funny.
"My dear Young Master, I have the perfect solution for that— one that won’t cause any trouble for ixiu even if the Masters find out," ifeng said a mont later.
"Really?!" Yuan reacted with excitent. What could this solution possibly be? It sounded too good to be true!
"Yes, I would never lie to you, Young Master. Anyways, the solution to all of this is to have ixiu leave the Yu Family, so even if she decides to work for you, they cannot complain about it." ifeng said, imdiately leaving Yuan speechless.
"M-ixiu leaving the Yu Family? I don’t think I can be that selfish— taking ixiu away from Yu Rou. And what about ixiu? What if she doesn’t want to do that, and I won’t force her either." Yuan quickly said.
"You don’t have to worry about any of that, Young Master. In the first place, ixiu was trained to beco your caretaker, and lastly, she has already agreed to leave the Yu Family to be by your side." ifeng finally revealed to him the situation.
"Wait... what? ixiu decided to leave the Yu Family? What about Yu Rou?" Yuan mumbled in a shocked voice.
"Indeed, ixiu has already left the Yu Family. I will be notifying the Masters later today. As for the Young Lady, she also agreed with this, even urging ixiu to leave the family." ifeng said.
"I... don’t know what to say, really..." Yuan sighed, and he continued, "I just don’t want to burden ixiu any more than I already am..."
"A burden, huh?" ifeng pondered for a mont before speaking again, "How about this, Young Master? Let’s ask ixiu what she thinks."
ifeng then stood up from her kneeling position and took a mont to fix her appearance before going outside to call for ixiu.
"Co here, ixiu. The Young Master would like to speak with you." ifeng said to her, who was standing near the entrance of the apartnt.
Once they were inside Yuan’s room together, ifeng spoke, "ixiu, the Young Master is worried that he might be a burden to you. Tell him the truth."
ixiu nodded her head before speaking, "I enjoy taking care of the Young Master, and I do not see the Young Master as a burden."
"There you have it, Young Master. ixiu herself has spoken. If you still doubt it, you’re going to hurt ixiu’s feelings."
"I see..." Yuan mumbled in a sowhat dazed voice.
"Anyways, ixiu will no longer be part of the Yu Family, and she will be your caretaker starting today." ifeng said before turning to look at ixiu, "As for school, if you wish to continue attending school, then I will try to work sothing out."

ixiu nodded her head.
Once everything was settled, ifeng looked at her watch and said, "I don’t have much ti left here, but before I leave, I need to make sure that you haven’t forgotten your training and that you’re taking care of the Young Master properly. Therefore, you’re going to show how you take care of the Young Master right now."
"Right now? But what am I supposed to do? The Young Master already ate breakfast..."
ifeng stood still for a mont before moving to wipe Yuan’s forehead with her finger.
She then said, "Look, the Young Master is sweating. I want you to change his clothes, and while you’re at it, wash his body."
ixiu’s eyes widened after hearing her mother’s words. While she doesn’t mind changing Yuan’s clothes, washing Yuan’s body in front of her mother is an entirely different story, especially if the last incident were to repeat itself.
"Why are you hesitating? If you’re not going to take care of the Young Master properly, I won’t hesitate to replace you."
ixiu swallowed nervously, but she didn’t dare to refuse her mother. Therefore, she could only nod her head.
Thus, ixiu began removing Yuan’s clothes whilst ifeng stood in the background and silently watched her every movent.
This reminded ixiu of her childhood when she was still in training, and just like currently, her mother would watch her from a distance, calling out on every minor mistake she makes.
