But in response to Lin Xuankong’s inquiry, Sect Leader Li of the Spiritual Crane Immortal Sect, despite the hatred burning in his heart, still couldn’t bring himself to lie. Of course, it was also possible he simply didn’t dare.
"Tributor Mu, an oath sworn on the Immortal Path can be said to be the most solemn oath for us cultivators!" Sect Leader Li of the Spiritual Crane Immortal Sect said.
He glared at the Grand Elder of the Five Elents Immortal Sect, the Five Elents Wanderer, and continued, "If it were ordinary mortals, they would naturally swear by the na of deities, as that would be the most solemn. For cultivators who have reached the Earth Immortal Realm, swearing by deities or supernatural beings holds almost no binding power. "So, you’re saying that since these forty-six Earth Immortals have already sworn by the Immortal Path, as long as they wish to continue their Cultivation, they would surely not dare to break their oaths? Otherwise, they would invariably die under a Celestial Tribulation?"

After speaking, the Grand Elder of the Five Elents Immortal Sect respectfully cupped his hands towards Lin Xuankong. "Tributor Mu can rest assured. As cultivators, how could any of us be willing to simply wait until our Lifespan is exhausted? No Earth Immortal would want their Cultivation of thousands, or even tens of thousands of years, to co to naught overnight!

As soon as the Grand Elder of the Five Elents Immortal Sect finished speaking, the forty-odd Earth Immortals of the Five Elents Immortal Sect imdiately began to clamor in agreent:
