Zhang Rongfang gritted his teeth, lowered his head, and forced himself to endure the intense pain without making a sound.

Ti continued to flow.

No idea how much ti had passed.

He rarely encountered such situations; even the awakening of his dark vision last ti was not as arduous, nor as painful.

Gradually, as ti passed, he could feel his internal organs and muscles starting to churn as if they were being mixed in a blender, turning into a chaotic paste.

Thud. One last intense heartbeat.

Finally, everything inside his body began to gradually solidify and cool down.

Zhang Rongfang slowly opened his eyes, a faint dawn light streaming in from the window; it seed to be early morning.

He glanced down at himself. His entire body was already completely soaked with sweat.

"The changes this ti are surprisingly significant... and unlike the last ti, there isn’t just a visual change.

Dark vision altered the eyes, so back then my vision changed.

But now, it’s the whole body, which should be... a corresponding full-body trait!"

Zhang Rongfang took a deep breath, ignoring the soaked mat.

He closed his eyes and opened the attributes panel for a detailed look.

’Zhang Rongfang - Life 200-200.

Trait:

Super Vision - Dark Vision.

Super Flesh - Flesh Completion.’

"Flesh Completion? What does that an?" Zhang Rongfang’s heart was startled.

He frowned, stood up, and carefully felt various parts of his body.

No changes, strength, speed, reflexes seed exactly the sa as before, unchanged.

Yet the wording on the attribute panel clearly indicated that a new trait had indeed surfaced.

Flesh Completion...

Zhang Rongfang pondered as he walked to the quiet room’s door and pushed it open.

The Daoist guarding outside bowed slightly to him.

"Daoist, you’re awake? Would you like to dine in the quiet room?"

In the Agarwood Palace, Zhang Rongfang often went into ditation for one or two days, so it wasn’t surprising to them.

"First, bathe, and send it to the study." Zhang Rongfang instructed.

He glanced at the Daoist in front of him.

His dark vision naturally activated, and the Daoist’s blood vessels and ridians gradually surfaced.

’Judging from the ridians, blood vessels, heart rate, and muscle fiber thickness, this person’s strength probably hasn’t entered a tier.’

Zhang Rongfang had long been collecting data based on the dark vision trait, categorizing the approximate states of various martial artists at different stages.

Now he could roughly discern the level of his opponent with just a glance.

Yet...

For so reason, Zhang Rongfang looked at the person and felt... felt a faint scent emanating from him.

Body scent?

He was puzzled.

Clearly, this Daoist was a man, probably in his thirties.

’Why do I feel he slls good?!’

Zhang Rongfang clearly felt sothing was off.

Watching the Daoist preparing to leave, he suddenly spoke.

"Wait. Did you... just have a bath? Used incense?"

"Uh... Daoist, I am a man, I do not use incense." The Daoist replied awkwardly and with a puzzled expression.

"Then... are you born with body scent?" Zhang Rongfang asked calmly.

"Uh... No, Daoist, I am a man; how could I have body scent?"

The Daoist pinched his three-inch beard, feeling a chill down his back.

"But you sll good..." Zhang Rongfang said confusedly.

"..."

Feeling uneasy, the Daoist said, "Daoist... I will go prepare bathing water for you, please excuse ! Excuse !"

He turned and ran, fearing sothing might happen if he stayed any longer!

Watching the Daoist quickly jog away from the courtyard, Zhang Rongfang withdrew his gaze.

He walked all the way to the bathhouse, watching the busy little maids preparing there.

Once again, Zhang Rongfang caught a trace of an elusive scent.

This ti, it wasn’t on any one person but on everyone!

His heart sank, turning to look at a heavily mustached Daoist guarding nearby.

This Daoist had knotted muscles, a square face, determined eyes, and a tall physique full of manly energy.

But being stared at by Zhang Rongfang made him feel a chilling unease, a strong desire to flee.

Especially the Daoist’s eyes; they carried an aggressive intensity that instinctively made him want to escape.

With an unchanged expression, Zhang Rongfang stared at the mustached one for a mont before looking toward the little maids by the bathhouse.

Sothing strange happened.

The scent from these little maids was actually not as strong as from the burly man...

Zhang Rongfang’s expression remained unchanged, but inside, waves surged.

What does this an?!

His throat gulped as he watched the mustached Daoist, suddenly feeling an urge...

An urge...

A desire...

A longing...

To walk up...

And devour him whole!

His flesh must be incredibly delicious... extrely tasty...

Just like premium beef freshly placed on a frying pan, seared in hot butter.

The rich aroma perates, and when chewed, it must be very savory and chewy...

Zhang Rongfang’s mouth secreted more and more saliva, and the indescribable expression in his eyes grew stronger.

"Dao... Daoist... I need to visit the restroom real quick, I’ll be right back." The bearded man finally couldn’t take it anymore, apologized, and turned to run.

Zhang Rongfang also sensed that sothing was off about himself and remained silent, allowing the other to quickly run away.

He turned around, quickly entered the washroom, bathed, changed clothes, and then briskly walked to the dungeon beneath the Agarwood Palace.

Agarwood Palace, as the core of the Spirit Court’s office, had long relocated the main functional departnts of the office here.

As a separate religious local managent departnt, Agarwood Palace had functions similar to a governnt office.

Generally, if a criminal had a religious background, then the local office must hand them over to the Spirit Court’s side for coordinated judgnt.

Thus, the Spirit Court generally had its own complete governntal system.

Zhang Rongfang did not pause along the way and soon arrived at the underground dungeon.

The dungeon still held a few skilled individuals previously captured by the secret Thousand Teachings Alliance.

However, after being imprisoned for so long, these skilled individuals had already beco dispirited, with empty, listless eyes.

Within the dungeon, a mix of stench from urine, feces, and decaying flesh filled the air, causing even Zhang Rongfang to feel disgusted.

Led by the jailer, he quickly reached the first cell.

The entire dungeon was arranged in a field pattern; he entered from the left and proceeded straight down.

The first cell he encountered held an outside intelligence officer from the Thousand Teachings Alliance.

This was a tall man with blonde hair and blue eyes, dressed in a tattered black robe.

"Who are you? Here to torture again? It’s no use, the Spirit Court has been evil from the start, treating people like livestock, manipulating everything at will...."

"Daoist, this guy’s mind is a little off; he’s been like this for months, please don’t mind it." The jailer quickly explained.

"It’s fine..." Zhang Rongfang stared intently at the man.

Despite the surrounding stifling air, and the pervasive stench of mold and decay.

Among these unpleasant odors, there was a distinctively rich aroma that stood out, undeterred.

"Open the door." Zhang Rongfang ordered, "Let in."

"Yes." Without a word, the jailer stepped forward, produced a large set of keys, found the one he needed, and unlocked the cell.

He pulled open the iron gate, wearing a fawning smile while waiting for Zhang Rongfang to enter.

The prisoner inside sensed sothing amiss and lifted his blue eyes to et Zhang Rongfang’s dark pupils.

Suddenly, an indescribable chill washed over the prisoner.

Unconsciously, he took a step back.

"You... what do you want to do!?"

Zhang Rongfang did not reply.

He slowly walked into the cell.

Approaching the prisoner, closing in step by step.

The prisoner retreated step by step.

The distance between them grew ever closer, imperceptibly close.

The fragrance reaching Zhang Rongfang’s nostrils grew increasingly intense, mixed with the sll of sweat, yet it didn’t make him feel nauseated at all.

At this mont, he understood that it was impossible for everyone outside to use incense, for all to have body fragrance.

Therefore, the only one with a problem must be him.

It was him who had a problem.

"I...."

He looked down at the prisoner from above.

"I’m sorry."

Without a sound, his hand lightning-like grasped the other’s neck.

Sharp fingers instinctively, precisely, pierced into the arteries on both sides of the prisoner’s neck.

Blood gushed out along the wounds.

Originally, this blood would have flowed down along the clothes to drip onto the floor.

But at this mont, a bizarre scene unfolded.

The prisoner struggled desperately, but to no avail, his strength was vastly inferior to Zhang Rongfang’s.

The blood from both sides of his neck kept gushing out rapidly, yet all the blood, upon touching Zhang Rongfang’s palm, swiftly absorbed like water onto a soaking towel, disappearing without a trace.

One warm current after another quickly spread along Zhang Rongfang’s palm, climbing upwards, converging at his heart.

Along with this sensation ca an exquisitely pleasant tingling sensation, sowhere between itch and numbness, spreading throughout Zhang Rongfang’s whole body.

He couldn’t help but let out a moan.

All the while, he never noticed that the prisoner with blonde hair and blue eyes he had seized was rapidly aging, his skin wrinkling, his hair drying, losing its sheen. His eye sockets were deepening as if he was swiftly becoming old and weak.

As if his vitality was continuously being absorbed into Zhang Rongfang’s body at this mont.

It was unclear how much ti passed,

and suddenly, the warm flow severed.

Zhang Rongfang also ca back to his senses from the euphoric state.

He quickly regained his composure and looked at the prisoner in his grasp.

The prisoner had visibly shriveled, appearing as if he had aged several decades in an instant.

anwhile, the jailer outside the cell stood with great fear, intently watching, not daring to make a sound.

In contrast, Zhang Rongfang’s body felt noticeably fuller and more energetic than before.

Moreover, there was a lingering sense that sothing within him had been replenished, constantly inhabiting his heart.

’Is this what they call Flesh Completion?!’

Zhang Rongfang released the prisoner and closed his eyes, looking at the attribute panel before him.

At this mont, the newly appeared trait ability had changed once again.

’Trait Ability: Flesh Completion (Flesh Amplification—11)’
