"What is your organization, and what are you after?"
The Legendary Kings were dismayed by Jacob’s question because they didn’t want to answer it. After all, they didn’t want to reveal their objective to this unknown yet potentially quasi-myth old monster.
Furthermore, they still didn’t know why the Serpent King’s sche led them here today. But no matter what, they knew Jacob had the initiative, and they didn’t want to go against him.
Just when they were about to relent, a new voice suddenly sounded, startling everyone.
"How lively..."
The flas in Jacob’s sockets flickered as he instantly focused behind the three legendary kings. There was nothing but empty space, but he could ’see’ past it.
The legendary kings were also shocked before they were visibly excited as they quickly greeted, "Exalted Myth!"
Constant Baron-0’s expression also changes when she hears ’myth’ and quickly sends a soul transmission, "This is bad! They called for a helper!"
Although only a few minutes had passed since their arrival and all the action between, this organization’s reaction was too fast. Furthermore, Constant Baron-0 didn’t even notice when they made contact; now it was too late.
She wanted to suggest that Jacob leave this place since they had already achieved their objective, and there was no need to go against a Quasi-Myth. However, she was still under the impression that Jacob’s prowess was only effective against Constants, and his bluff might no longer work.
But before she could even voice her opinion, sothing shocking happened: She suddenly felt terrifying pressure locking on her.
The next mont, the space in front of Jacob suddenly tore apart, and a thin white crescent streak shot out without any warning at an unimaginable speed.
This crescent streak was filled with terrifying, sharp intent, as if it could cut through anything, and with how close Jacob was, it seed impossible to dodge.
But Jacob seed to have already prepared, and the mont the space sliced opened, he reacted equally fast and used the Astral Transcendence’s Phase Shift!
Jacob’s body turned into a flash of light, breaking past the locking effect of this crescent slash and dodging it.
The crescent slash lost its target and continued in linear motion without stopping, cutting anything in its path.
"Astounding..." The voice sounded again, but this ti it was solemn, "So it was a fellow Myth seeker..."
But his voice abruptly stopped when a white beam of light suddenly shot towards the three legendary kings, tearing space with a terrifying destructive force behind it. Its power wasn’t any lower than that slash, stronger even.
This was the third ability of the Astral Transcendence; Dinsional Lightstrike that Jacob had launched almost instantly after using the Phase Shift!
Faced with the Dinsional Lightstrike imbued with Jacob’s law comprehension of space and light, the Quasi-Myth didn’t dare to show any contempt and quickly responded as fast as Jacob.
The space in front of the three legendary kings suddenly wrapped, and an ancient bronze sword with a rusty blade appeared between them and the Dinsional Lightstrike.
’Boomm...’
Piercing sound reverberated in the vicinity before a powerful shockwave spread, destroying the already crumbling do and even forcing legendary kings to take a few steps back.
The ancient sword seed completely fine. Only a small fading white mark was left on its blade, evidence of Dinsional Lightstrike’s power. Those legendary kings sweated as they didn’t dare imagine what would’ve happened if that light strike had landed on one of them.
If they had doubts about Jacob’s power rank before, they vanished now. It was confird that this mysterious powerhouse was another Myth!
At this mont, a slender hand suddenly appeared and wrapped around the sword hilt before a tall figure erged. He was extrely handso, with long white hair, wearing white robes and a regal deanor.
His brilliant gray eyes shone brightly as he held the ancient sword. He looked at Jacob with a hint of alarm because he could still feel the residual power of Jacob’s attack from his sword.
Jacob’s eyes were locked on this elvish man, especially the ancient sword in the latter’s hand. This was the first ti his attack was blocked, and he was forced to use his full power to escape that attack.
He didn’t attack anymore because his enemy was not going to be easy to deal with, especially with that sword, which was an advanced legendary king soul artifact, or even a Quasi-Myth Artifact.
"Myth of White Swordsman, I presud?" Jacob calmly inquired.
The Myth of White Swordsman suddenly burst into hearty laughter, clearly not offended by Jacob’s attack. In fact, the whole reason he attacked Jacob was to confirm Jacob’s identity as a Quasi-Myth, and if Jacob hadn’t retaliated, the Myth of White Swordsman mightn’t have shown himself like this.
"It’s such a pleasure to et another fellow myth. May I know your title?" Myth of White Swordsman words are neither overbearing nor servile. He had already acknowledged Jacob as an equal.
Furthermore, the Myth of White Swordsman’s acknowledgnt sent waves in those legendary kings’ hearts, especially Constant Baron-0’s, because Jacob was really a Quasi-Myth and not just effective against Constants!
Her feelings right now were extrely complicated, while her reverence towards the ’Lord’ increased even more. Now, as long as Jacob was with her, she knew she didn’t have to fear anyone!
Jacob thought montarily before he replied, "I don’t have any title, nor am I interested in one. Just call ’Ancient’."
Myth of White Swordsman didn’t dwell on this topic and said in a jolly tone, "Fellow Ancient, today’s matter was a big misunderstanding caused by a fool, and I’m not going to let this go until I get to the bottom of it. But it won’t change the fact that my people have offended you. How about you give so face and we’ll let this matter rest? After all, fighting among ourselves will only harm us, not anyone else. In return, I want to invite you to my humble abode to discuss our insight into the laws. What do you think?"
The three legendary kings were shocked because they knew the Myth of White Swordsman wasn’t soone to give anyone’s face, not even war giants, yet he was now speaking so friendly with Jacob. This could only an that he wasn’t confident in taking Jacob down, which shocked them to no end.
The Myth of the White Swordsman suddenly glanced at the three legendary kings behind him and sternly reprimanded them: "You lot, why are you still standing there?! Quickly, apologies to this fellow brother over here."
"Please forgive us, Myth of Ancient!"
"This was all Serpent King’s fault!"
"We never ant to offend you!"
Jacob deeply looked at the Myth of White Swordsman before he said, "It’ll be my honor to accept your invitation, White Swordsman!"
