Jacob’s eyes compressed into pale golden beams as the final armor plates locked in, giving the ch suit an imposing, slick silhouette.
The runes along its surface pulsed in sequence, forming glowing lines across the chest and limbs. They weren’t just decorations—laws were pulsing from them. They were law circuits, coded to handle both soul force and multiple Law Concepts simultaneously.
Jacob’s Eyes of the Judge flared. "Five laws, a Quasi-Myth body?"
At this mont, a chanical voice rang,
"Sync with Humanoid Exoform to 99%!
"Target: Intruder (Unknown)
"Rank: Quasi Myth
"Objective: Elimination!"
"Initiating Combat Engagent.
"All systems online.
"Prepare to be neutralized."
The very next mont, thereafter—boom!
The mont the Humanoid Exoform finished assembling, the pressure inside the sealed chamber shifted.
A brilliant flare of pale silver radiated from its core. The Law of tal activated, forming razor-sharp energy edges along the ch’s limbs. In an instant, the towering figure lunged forward—its five-ter-tall fra moving with impossible speed.
Jacob’s eyes flickered before he vanished using the Light Law’s first concept, the Light Blink—distorting the air where he once stood. The ch’s blade-arm tore through nothing, cleaving a deep trench in the crystalline floor.
Jacob’s Eyes of Judge were fully activated as he saw through the laws imbued within those circles, ’Those strange circuits contained the law of tal that it just used, then there are familiar laws as well, the laws of Space, Ti, Light, and, what could be the final one...’
The more Jacob looked at the Humanoid Exoform, the stronger his desire to acquire it beca because it was a masterpiece of technology!
At this mont, Jacob reappeared behind the ch, palm raised. A Law of Wind – Free Drift pulse howled as a vortex ford, forcing the ch to turn. As it rotated, Jacob unleashed a concentrated Inferno—the first concept of Fire Law strike, boiling hot and condensed to a beam.
BOOM!
The Sentinel raised its plated arm, shielding itself. The flas licked over the armor, leaving scorched grooves—but no real damage.
Then ti suddenly freezes.
Jacob felt it the mont it activated—the Law of Ti’s first concept—acceleration. He had also used it in his fight with the Constant Barons.
The Humanoid Exoform shimred, moving through slowed ti, each motion impossibly fast to the naked eye before Jacob could react—CRASH!
A tallic punch slamd into his ribs, launching him across the chamber. However, he twisted midair, using the first concept of Space Law—Space Compression to bend the space around his body and reduce montum, skidding along the floor with sparks flying.
Although he was completely unhard by his terrifying skeleton, his eyes flickered violently. ’Not bad speed. Let’s see if you can endure corrosion.’
His arms pulsed black. The First Concept of Law of Death – Necrosis.
Jacob stomped forward and shot up. He appeared above the ch’s head, swirling black mists in his hands. He slamd both palms down.
SSSSHHHH!
A corrosive tide exploded, eating into the armor plating. For a mont, the tal hissed and discolored—but then—SHIIIING—!
The Law of tal retaliated. The Humanoid Exoform body emitted a cleansing pulse, neutralizing the corrosion with adaptive regeneration.
’The Law of tal can purge foreign laws? No—it’s those Law Circuits. They’re actively rejecting intrusions.’
Suddenly, the ch vanished.
Jacob’s Eyes of Judge flickered. His surroundings warped. Multiple versions of the ch appeared—illusions.
Realization dawned on Jacob at this mont, ’The last law is the Law of Illusion!’
But Jacob didn’t panic. His soul force expanded outward, wrapping his body in Fluid Motion—Water Law, heightening sensitivity.
’Flow never lies...’
The real ch flickered slightly to his left. He flicked his finger, and a silver arc of Lightning—the First Concept of Lightning—Destruction surged forward, crackling with intensity.
CRACK-THOOOOM!
The bolt hit its mark.
The ch staggered backward, its armor sparking and smoking. Its circuits flickered erratically, and one shoulder joint was partially disabled.
Jacob’s eyes flared, ’I can’t break it too much.’
But the Humanoid Exoform wasn’t done. Suddenly, the core at its chest dimd—then emitted a blinding pulse. Jacob’s mind suddenly reeled—his vision warped.
It was an illusory space. His surroundings shifted into a fake battlefield—dozens of copies of the ch surrounded him.
But Jacob only smirked. He activated Law of Darkness–Obscurity, shrouding himself in void-like mist. His presence vanished—no light, no sound, no spirit force. The illusions couldn’t lock onto him.
One breath passed, two, then...
SLASH!
Jacob appeared behind the real Humanoid Exoform, punching directly into its back with a void-coated fist. Void Law – Nihility!
The armor didn’t crack. It simply ceased to exist. A chunk of the Humanoid Exoform’s lower back vanished, eaten by pure nothingness.
The Humanoid Exoform staggered, alarms blaring inside its system.
"Warning. System Integrity: 63%.
"Recalibrating spatial defenses."
The mont it tried to restore, Jacob struck again—this ti with Earth Law – Foundation Tremor. The entire floor quaked, sending seismic force directly into the Sentinel’s stabilizers, cracking its knee joints.
Then Jacob backed off; his soul force was down to 13%.
’Fighting a Quasi-Myth is really not easy...’
At this mont, the Humanoid Exoform roared, its mask-like helm lighting up, preparing sothing out of Jacob’s expectation, which his Eyes of Judge captured.
For the first ti, Jacob was shocked, ’It’s using them together, two laws at the sa ti!? It’s possible, I was right!’
As soone who had comprehended twelve law concepts, Jacob’s vision was broader. He had already tried to use different laws simultaneously, but he always failed at the last step.
But now, watching the Humanoid Exoform using the Law of Space and Ti together to create a field that could freeze Jacob and launch him into a dinsional lock, he suddenly had an epiphany.
At the sa ti, he looked at the Law of Space and Ti attack, and suddenly, both his hands went black, rimd with silvery cracks. They pulsed with Void and Death.
Jacob thrust his palms forward, the Void Bloom. It was a combined attack—Nihility and Necrosis—concentrated into a swirling beam of reality-erasing death.
’It succeeded!’ Jacob was elated.
Although it wasn’t as refined as the Humanoid Exoform, it was still terrifying to use laws, not to ntion the Void law and Death law, which were not common laws.
The next mont...
CRRRRRACKKKK!
The Humanoid Exoform’s ti-space field shattered. The core scread, glowing wildly—then dimd. The armor plates warped. Runes cracked.
BOOM!
The Humanoid Exoform collapsed to one knee as if its systems were overloading.
Jacob walked forward slowly, his eyes contained ecstasy, "You are really a treasure trove of knowledge."
He lifted his hand, and space wrapped—this ti, not to dodge, to grab the still-beating Spirit Core...and everything faded to silence except for Jacob’s eerie voice filled with a hint of excitent.
"Machina Unit, you’re mine!"
