All this ti, Jacob had been holding back and didn’t use any Hexes or Jinxes on any Fla Acolytes because he was waiting to use them on Vortigash. So, even if Vortigash can overco his opponents, he won’t even know how he fell into Jacob’s trap.
"Slumber Hex!" Jacob instantly used his most powerful Hex. Now that his Jinx Core has been evolved into Legendary King State, it can easily affect a Quasi-Myth.
But sothing unexpected happened. The mont Jacob activated the Slumber Hex, the Curse mana was montarily active before going dormant. The Hex has been missed!
Startled, Jacob looked at Vortigash and his eyes flickered with a hint of bitter realization, ’Although he’s a Quasi-Myth, there’s sothing wrong with especially with that ’Divine Fla’ that shocked those Fla Acolytes. My Hex probably didn’t work because of that Divine Fla...’
Although it was only Jacob’s guess, he didn’t know he was spot on. The Divine Fla on Vortigash was above the realm of Quasi-Myth and fell under the rank of Myths! That’s why the Slumber Hex couldn’t affect Vortigash at all. This was a ghastly realization.
On the other hand, Vortigash also sensed sothing with his terrifying instincts, and he felt as if he had avoided a disaster and felt his Divine Fla had just defended his soul from sothing unknown.
Vortigash’s expression changed because he hadn’t even detected any attack, and he knew the characteristics of the Divine Flas.
’He’s dangerous...I need to get rid of him before he does sothing else...’ Vortigash no longer fell for Jacob’s trick and instantly activated the Gravity-Fla Dominion!
Jacob instantly felt the powerful scorching gravity force, which was directly affecting his soul. He knew Vortigash was attacking. The next mont, he activated his soul force barrier and used space law to avoid this strange domain.
But to his surprise, the surrounding Space seed to have beco extrely sturdy, and he couldn’t bend it, not to ntion shattering it.
At this mont, the ram horns of Vortigash suddenly blaze with ethereal red-golden fla, and a fla sigil appeared on Vortigash’s palm. Almost instantly, Vortigash struck like a flash of lightning!
"Boom!"
Jacob’s soul force barrier suddenly shattered, and he was sent flying. It wasn’t just the end there, but Jacob instantly felt a mysterious energy invading his skeletal body with a terrifying, destructive force.
A hint of fear surfaced in Jacob’s eyes as his soul force barrier, which even five fla acolytes couldn’t overco, was broken with a single move of Vortigash.
But Jacob didn’t have ti to contemplate this, and he activated the Life Bane Wheel’s Life Devour to get rid of the mysterious energy within his body.
However, even the Life Devour couldn’t get rid of it right away, and Jacob needed to provide a massive amount of Soul Force to keep that energy from invading his true soul.
"Oh, I just use 50% of my power, even those past ghosts couldn’t take it, yet you were able to avoid death..." Vortigash was astounded as he looked at Jacob, who was still able to stand on his feet, his eyes flickering with a peculiar light, "Your soul force has more than three laws imbued in it. Are you also like ?"
’What does he an?’ Jacob had no clue what Vortigash was talking about, but he wasn’t in the mood to entertain his enemy. Other than the mysterious hunter, Vortigash was the first existence that could put him on the back foot.
Nonetheless, Vortigash wasn’t overwhelming like that ’Hunter’. Maybe if it were before Jacob t with the Hunter, he might be afraid of him, but after putting so much effort into increasing his power, Vortigash was now only a strong opponent to test his progress.
After all, if Jacob decided to forget about the consequences, Vortigash was only a wish away from turning into history.
Vortigash was unaware of Jacob’s thought process, and at this mont, two new fla sigils ford around his palm, and his power skyrocketed again. At the sa ti, the gravity force around him beca even more powerful, making the air vibrate with pressure.
Jacob knew Vortigash was going to use more power, and this ti he didn’t hesitate; for the first ti, he activated a Jinx. It was his first ti using a Jinx after acquiring them, and unlike the Hexes, the Jinx wasn’t unavoidable, and as long as he had the curse mana, he could even use Jinx against opponents way above his league.
Just as Vortigash moved, the white-golden flas in Jacob’s hollow sockets turned dark crimson, and the curse mana within his infinity pendant poured out like a raging tsunami. Even the runic marking on his skeleton manifested and shimred in the dark light.
"Jinx of Shattered Providence!"
Vortigash also sensed a strange power emitting from Jacob, and what made him apprehensive was that he couldn’t identify the nature of this power. But he only had this vague feeling that even the laws seed to be afraid of it.
The killing intent. Vortigash’s heart grew even stronger, and his power increased again as a vague Celestial Astrolabe surfaced behind him.
However, unlike other Celestial Astrolabes, the center of Vortigash’s astrolabe was a blazing fla, and the mont he showed his astrolabe, the surrounding space began to shatter as if it couldn’t endure Vortigash’s power.
Just when Vortigash was about to strike Jacob, a mystical power suddenly washed over him, and the next mont, the fla within Vortigash’s astrolabe turned violent.
Vortigash paled because his mana turned chaotic, and the fla sigils around his hands flickered violently, before shattering.
The regal aura surrounding Vortigash, which even suppressed space and ti, beca unstable, and he suffered a backlash midair. His entire montum was obstructed.
’It took all the cursed mana just to use a Jinx on him!?’ Jacob was startled when he felt the emptiness of the cursed mana within his infinity pendant.
He had calculated that he could hex or jinx at least 3 Quasi-Myths with his current storage of hex mana, but unexpectedly, the entire storage was used on Vortigash.
Nonetheless, Jacob knew that the Jinx of Shattered Providence successfully jinxed Vortigash; the proof was the sudden backlash in Vortigash’s power.
Jacob has acquired the Jinx of Shattered Providence after his Jinx Core was evolved into Legendary King State.
According to the inherited mories of the Jinx of Shattered Providence, it can completely sever the victim from their fate and providence. No destiny, no luck, no divine timing—nothing unfolds in their favor.
Although Jacob was still unclear about what it ant, he knew Jinxes were a fortune-altering power. Those affected by them would suffer failures or backlash when they used their abilities or any other form of control.
But now that Jacob had seen how Vortigash’s powers were turned against him. He now understands that this Jinx directly affects the victim’s Good luck during the use of their powers and abilities, turning it into bad luck.
Just now, the Jinx has directly affected Vortigash’s divine fla, causing it to beco unstable and resulting in a terrible backlash at a crucial mont.
The most terrifying thing about Jinxes is that they can’t be removed unless Jacob personally does so, and they are also unpredictable. Furthermore, unlike Hexes, Jinxes directly affect laws and manipulate everything around the victims, tornting them forever.
Jacob didn’t miss this opportunity, and while Vortigash was suffering a backlash and trying to suppress the chaotic Divine Fla, while also wondering what just happened, Jacob moved as the power of Ti Law and Void Law was activated.

Furthermore, he was paying attention to Jacob, and the mont he sensed Jacob’s intention, he knew he had to use his trump cards, or he might really die under Jacob’s hands.
The next mont, an ancient silver shield appeared right in front of Vortigash; it was actually a Quasi-Myth rank treasure, and he activated it to protect himself from Jacob.
But at this mont, his connection with the shield was suddenly disrupted by the Divine Fla, and his command failed.
Vortigash almost driven mad by this ridiculous situation. He might be the unluckiest person to have encountered such a situation, which was virtually impossible to occur, especially for soone like Vortigash.
"What the hell is going..." Before Vortigash could curse, Jacob had already appeared in front of Vortigash and disrupted the surrounding ti before striking with void law!
Vortigash tries to use his own soul force instead of the divine fla to block Jacob’s attack. But most of his soul force was currently being used to keep the Divine Fla from going berserk.
But alas, it wasn’t enough to block Jacob’s full power attack imbued with his soul force and void law, the bane of very reality.
