The mont the Myth of Oracle’s final words faded, the towering throne of starlit obsidian erupted in radiance, as if lightning struck within a sealed heaven.
The next mont, space folded inward, the fog in the hall trembled, and then, he was there: the Coalition Master!
A colossal silhouette over a hundred ters tall, seated upon the throne as if he had never been absent. His form was still blurred, obscured, impossible to grasp, as if reality itself refused to define his outline. His presence distorted distance and bent perception.
Witnessing this imposing scene, the White Swordsman’s pupils constricted as the obscure, mysterious, and untouchable sight was identical to what he rembered. But what unsettled him was not the appearance; it was the timing!
The Coalition Master had manifested instantly, without any warning, which could only an one thing. He had always been here, listening and watching while weighing the White Swordsman and Myth of Oracle’s conversation.
Whether this arrangent had been coordinated with the Myth of Oracle or not, the White Swordsman did not know. But from what he rembered from a conversation between two Coalition Founders, they seed to be hiding.
But from whom or what, that remained a mystery, and he did not have the luxury to dwell on it because this was the final stretch.
Inside his heart, a single thought surfaced, ’I hope you are right about this, Myth of Reverend!’
The Myth of White Swordsman had no reason to take such a risk since revenge alone was not enough, not to ntion petty resentnt could not drive a Quasi-Myth to gamble his life.
Furthermore, after what had been happening around him, the Myth of White Swordsman would never trust anyone or think he was untouchable just because he was at the top of the Legendary Plains’ food chain.
He had learned his lesson, so this could only an that the Myth of White Swordsman had been promised or given sothing compelling enough for him to agree to the Myth of Reverend’s plan.
As for what, only he and the Myth of Reverend knew, yet still, it was enough to make him step into this abyss willingly.
However, at that mont, the Coalition Master did not give the Myth of White Swordsman a chance to greet or even speak, as the forr already knew everything and wanted to know what the White Swordsman was really up to, especially since this involved the Coalition Founders’ own interests.
The mont his form stabilized upon the throne, his heavy, majestic voice crashed down like a hamr, "Vile Inquisition!"
The words were not loud, yet they seed to have crushed the chamber as the air froze, and the Sword Law inside the White Swordsman’s body stilled before his eyes went blank, and his consciousness sank!
It was just as before; he felt the sa force invading his mind, as if peeling, searching, and stripping away his control over himself, but with one difference: this ti, he was expecting it and even prepared!
The mont the Coalition Master’s ’Vile Inquisition’ took effect, sothing different happened as deep within the abyss of his soul, the sa mysterious sigil stirred.
But this ti, the sigil was no longer vague as it beca vivid, and the next mont, an ancient, vertical ’eye’ opened. Its pupil was pitch black, ringed with countless microscopic runes rotating like a silent galaxy. It did not glow or radiate power until the Vile Inquisition touched the White Swordsman’s soul; the eye seed to have blinked!
Thereafter, sothing snapped within the White Swordsman’s mind, and because of the Vile Inquisition, without any resistance, his mind collapsed completely!
His pupils turned utterly vacant; far hollower than before, as if no longer just hypnotized or controlled, completely empty.
But it was just the start for the next instant, around his body, space began to distort, and an ethereal runic circle materialized beneath his feet, mirroring the sigil of a mysterious eye.
Concentric rings of intricate glyphs spiraled outward, each inscribed with impossible characters that didn’t belong to the Legendary Plains, and the eye symbol ford at its center.
This happened so fast that the Coalition Master’s form seed to freeze right where he had descended, while the Myth of Oracle straightened slightly; the pentagram on her mask flared violently.
"What is this...?" She muttered with a hint of confusion and disbelief, and a sense of deep foreboding crushed down on her very being.
But she didn’t have a chance to complete her sentence, or for the Coalition Master to react, for at this mont, the White Swordsman’s skin began to wither before their eyes. His hair grayed, flesh shrank, and wrinkles carved across his face in seconds, even his robes sagged over a rapidly aging fra.
Finally, the Coalition Master moved as the space cracked directly around the aging White Swordsman. He clearly wanted to teleport away or to forcibly displace the White Swordsman outside the Pagoda or even the Coalition Hideout!
But the runic circle pulsed once, and the teleportation failed, as if it had been rejected or erased.
"Do sothing!" The Myth of Oracle’s impassive voice finally cracked with panic as she rushed past her seat and appeared right in front of the White Swordsman.
She wanted to grab the White Swordsman directly, but to her shock, the mont she reached out, she was instantly knocked back and blown away by a silent shock wave.
Finally, the Coalition Master’s aura surged, and space trembled again as a terrifying space authority descended on the White Swordsman and the runic circle, tearing every fiber of space around him, wanting to expel the White Swordsman into the space layer.
Yet the circle remained unmoved and unaffected as if it had been anchored there by a God, and the White Swordsman’s body continued to desiccate while his sword intent flickered out, and his Law aura dissolved into the runic circle.
"My space law cannot penetrate it, nor the Pagoda’s authority is working," The Coalition Master’s voice lowered, no longer majestic and now edged with disbelief.
"Neither Law nor Artifact is working?!" The Myth of Oracle with the pentagram on her mask spun rapidly and appeared again close to the White Swordsman, but she didn’t dare to touch him anymore, "This runic circle is ancient, and the runic language used in it is not from the Legendary Plains... this is..."
At that mont, she stopped, and for the first ti since the Coalition’s founding, her calculations failed, making both of the Coalition Founders realize that they had fallen into soone’s trap!
