Chapter 1221: Knocking on the Door of Death! (2)

The Myth of Oracle couldn’t retort to the Myth of Reverend’s reasoning, as she had investigated this matter personally and reached the same conclusion as the latter.

“What about the ATLAS’s rats?” She impassively questioned.

“What about them? They’re just our pawns, we placed them in the right place, and let them struggle.” The Myth of Reverend’s eyes flickered with derision as he playfully said, “But they didn’t know that, and that’s the beauty of it all, don’t you think so, Lady Oracle?”

The Myth of Oracle remained silent, her expression unreadable, but deep down, she couldn’t help but feel the Myth of the Reverend was too terrifying and scheming, because only she and the Coalition Master knew the actual truth.

If those truths ever see the light of day, everyone in the Legendary Plains would stop calling the Myth of Reverend the savior, and instead they’ll fear him as the great devil!

She spoke ambiguously, “As long as we are getting what we want, it doesn’t matter to use…then we will proceed carefully. Even if you’re wrong, and your scheme failed…we’ll lose nothing. But if you’re right…”

At this point, the Myth of Oracle didn’t finish as she didn’t need to, while the Myth of Reverend started cackling!

Far beyond the main fleet, where no sensors reached, no signals penetrated, as no one was paying attention behind, since the real danger was in front of them, not to mention no one thought that someone would be crazy enough to clash with the Mythical Coalition or wanted to stop this war.

At that moment, a distortion flickered, and then, a sleek, inky dark triangular shuttle with a pointed nose and broad wings appeared like a ghost. It was small, at least, insignificant pared to the surrounding armada, and pletely undetectable.

It moved without sound, without energy fluctuation, slipping through gaps in space itself like a shadow between dimensions.

Inside this phantasmal vessel sat a figure in a dark windbreaker, his head covered by a long hood, and only ghostly pale light flickered behind it as his gaze fixed on the veiled continent ahead.

“It’s been a while since the last time I came here.” He murmured with a hint of coldness, “So, this is what it’s bee after the awakening of the Undead Skyfall Canyons?”

Even from inside the shuttle, he could feel it. The density of death law, the ghastly pressure of decay, and a profound intent filled with nothing but killing intent.

Despite sensing the power, he moved the shuttle forward without hesitation, carefully crossing every spaceship in the armada and getting closer to the atmosphere of the continent.

Although there were many spaceships of equivalent rank as the shuttle, or beyond, and they might’ve noticed this ship moving through the space, no one did anything!

Right now, everyone knows the Mythical Coalition had called everyone here to lay siege on the Great Cosmic Continent of Sagittarius.

Since they can’t resist them, they had to e because most of them were greedy for the lifespan they were going to get if they performed well in this war.

But it doesn’t mean they wanted to be at the front line; they were all hoping someone else would take their place, so they waited for the order without daring to move forward on their own.

Now, if some reckless fool were trying to seek death all by himself, they won’t stop him and let him be without much thought.

But there were still some kind-hearted ones among them, while some, after figuring out the rank of that shuttle was Legendary King, tried to stop this lunatic Legendary King, but the latter ignored every munication request and entered the veil of death!

The moment the shuttle crossed it, everything changed.

The outside silence gave way to a suffocating stillness. The sky inside Sagittarius was dim, warped, layered with drifting death mist that blocked any sense of direction.

Below, the land seemed to move, not visibly but subtly and endlessly.

In actuality, it wasn’t the land that was moving, but the Undead roamed in vast numbers. Countless figures wandering, hunting, merging into tides of death that stretched beyond the horizon.

The air here wasn’t cold nor hot; it just felt heavy and oppressive, like something watching and waiting.

Watching this terrifying scene, the figure inside the shuttle seemed to bee slightly altered as he muttered in a grave tone, “I suddenly can’t feel the outer space…is this the power of that veil? Well, I wonder what will happen if…”

With unknown thoughts, the flames behind his hood vanished as if he had closed his ghostly eyes to sense something. For a brief second, there was nothing, but then he felt a pull, faint and distant, but unmistakable.

His eyes snapped open, illuminating a skeletal face behind the hood.

“Found you…disciple!”

Without another word, the shuttle vanished into the death-ridden continent.

The Great Cosmic Continent of Sagittarius no longer had clear borders between territories, as everything beyond the temporary safe zones belonged to the undead.

Mountains moved with skeletal tides. Forests became graveyards overnight. Entire ruined cities vanished beneath oceans of death mist before reappearing days later as nests of corpse monstrosities. Even the sky itself seemed permanently eclipsed beneath the shadow of the Death March.

Yet amidst this endless nightmare, one force still endured, the Resistance, or rather, the remnants of those too stubborn to die.

After the appearance of the mysterious Death Lord, the shattered survivors of both the Life and Dead Factions had undergone a transformation no one believed possible.

At first, neither side trusted her. The Life Faction feared her death aura. The Dead Faction feared her even more.

But fear eventually turned into obedience. Because she had acplished something none of them could. She could permanently kill the undead.

Not suppress or scatter, not temporarily erase before they regenerated again from the Death March, but truly destroy them for again and again, countless survivors had witnessed impossible scenes unfold beneath the blackened skies of Sagittarius Continent!
