"But I genuinely only care about you! I’m only thinking of you!" Saying this, she let go of Mu Beiting’s big hand, snuggling up to his arm with a bright smile and resting her head on it.
Mu Beiting’s tense facial lines gradually softened. He instructed the butler to fetch the dication while pulling her to sit on the living room sofa.
"Sir, this is the bruise ointnt Mr. Pete bought last ti. Luckily, I’ve kept it handy!" Saying this, the butler crouched down, ready to apply the ointnt on Ye Anxin.
However, before he could even touch Ye Anxin, the ointnt in his hand vanished into thin air.
The butler was stunned, his hand suspended awkwardly in mid-air.
Mu Beiting pressed his lips together in silence, squeezing out the ointnt and gently applying it on Ye Anxin’s bruised wrist.
Watching Mu Beiting’s handso face focused intently, Ye Anxin’s cheeks blushed slightly, and she shyly said, "Alright, it’s fine now. The pot is still simring with soup; I’ll go to the kitchen first!"
Mu Beiting said, "Let the maids handle it!"
"No need, I’m really fine! If it weren’t for you, I wouldn’t have noticed it was bruised here!" Ye Anxin waved her hand, feeling sweet inside.
Mu Beiting replied solemnly, "Be good!"
Ye Anxin blinked and leaned in closer, smiling brightly, "Uncle, are you feeling sorry for ?"

The smile on Ye Anxin’s lips grew wider, "You are, you are, you really feel sorry for !"
"I don’t, if you want to go, then go!" Mu Beiting turned around, avoiding her gaze.
"I’m off to get busy then! You sit for a while, the food will be ready soon!" Seeing that her little plan worked, Ye Anxin laughed heartily, put away Mu Beiting’s briefcase, and dashed into the kitchen.
Today, unlike his usual routine of staying in the study handling business, Mu Beiting changed into casual ho clothes and sat on the sofa in the first-floor living room reading the newspaper.
Half an hour later, Ye Anxin brought the homade dishes to the dining table, served Mu Beiting so rice, and called out loudly, "Uncle, the al is ready, co and eat!"
Mu Beiting put down the newspaper and went to the kitchen to wash his hands before sitting at the head of the dining table.

Mu Beiting stared at the beef in the bowl for a while before picking it up and putting it into his mouth.
Ye Anxin blinked her eyes, looking at him with great anticipation, "How is it? Is it tasty?"
Mu Beiting savored it thoughtfully and nodded his head under Ye Anxin’s expectant gaze.
"Really? Then try the tomato scrambled eggs, it’s my specialty!" With that, she put a portion of tomato scrambled eggs in his bowl.
Mu Beiting continued eating without a word!
Ye Anxin asked again, "Isn’t it delicious?"
"Mm!" Mu Beiting nodded again.
"Then eat more, Uncle, this, this, and this too!" Although Mu Beiting didn’t directly praise her, she was still very happy! She kept putting more food into his bowl. Before she knew it, Mu Beiting’s bowl was piled like a small hill.
Seeing that she kept serving him food yet hadn’t eaten a bite herself, Mu Beiting said sternly, "You should eat too!"
Ye Anxin earnestly said, "I like watching Uncle eat, for so reason, seeing you eat makes feel very satisfied!"
Hearing this, the usually stern lines of Mu Beiting’s face gradually relaxed and softened.
Just as the atmosphere in the dining room was getting better, the butler suddenly walked in, "Sir, Mr. Yan is here!"
