"Uncle...!" Ye Anxin felt very wronged and very puzzled!

Ye Anxin frowned slightly and asked puzzlingly, "Then why did Uncle suddenly co back yesterday?"

Ye Anxin probed upon seeing his expression, "Did he not co back voluntarily?"
"Last night, Mr. Yan suddenly called the villa. He said if Madam wanted to reconcile with Sir, just call Sir, deceive him that Madam was ill, had a high fever that wouldn’t go down, and urge him to co back quickly! I wholeheartedly hoped that Sir and Madam would reconcile quickly, so I called Sir as Mr. Yan instructed! As expected, Sir returned in less than half an hour, and then didn’t co downstairs again! There was no need for him to continue; Madam probably knew what transpired next.
Ye Anxin asked again, "Do you know if Uncle is still going to the company today?"
The butler shook his head and answered truthfully, "I don’t know. Sir didn’t say, and I didn’t dare to ask!"
After listening to the butler’s account, Ye Anxin was silent for a mont, then walked into the kitchen. She busied herself for a while and only then walked out with a bowl of tomato noodles, heading straight for the garden outside.
After asking the gardener in the garden and confirming Mu Beiting’s location, Ye Anxin quickly found Mu Beiting sitting in the gazebo reading a newspaper.

Since Mu Beiting didn’t respond, Ye Anxin kept on holding the chopsticks. When the noodles on them cooled, she’d pick another bunch.

Though it was just a very faint glance, it made Ye Anxin very happy. At least it proved her efforts were paying off.
Ye Anxin grinned with a warm smile, sweetly saying, "Uncle, just eat a little! I heard from the butler that you haven’t eaten anything since you woke up. I know you’re mad at . Didn’t I apologize to you? I know, it was my fault. I was too naive, that’s why I got deceived. I swear, I’ll be more careful and wary in the future, and I definitely won’t be fooled again! Please don’t be angry anymore! Eat sothing, seeing you like this makes my heart really ache!"
Ye Anxin believed Mu Beiting was still angry about her not returning ho the night before last, so she kept apologizing profusely.
She knew she was indeed wrong, so she didn’t bla him for being angry!
But, such words, when heard by Mu Beiting, completely changed in aning. He moved his gaze from the newspaper and stared at her little face without blinking, as if trying to find so clues from her expression.
Seeing him finally willing to face her, Ye Anxin quickly bead a sweet smile, clamped the noodles again and brought it to his lips, coaxing, "Uncle, stop being mad, okay!"
Just as Ye Anxin finished speaking, there was a sudden strange noise!
Hearing the sound, Ye Anxin’s little face imdiately turned red!
Mu Beiting glanced at her belly, put down the newspaper, and took large strides toward the villa.
Ye Anxin’s shoulders slumped powerlessly, her face full of disappointnt.
"Go back to the villa!" Just as Ye Anxin was about to go make another hot bowl of noodles for Mu Beiting, his voice ca from not far away.
This was the first sentence Mu Beiting said to Ye Anxin today, and although there was no warmth in the voice, to Ye Anxin, it was like a heavenly sound!
Ye Anxin’s face bead with joy, quickly nodding in response, and she followed behind with a small jog.
"Prepare lunch!" Mu Beiting returned to the villa and coldly tossed a sentence to the butler, then sat down on the sofa to watch financial news.
"Yes!" The butler accepted the order and hurried to instruct the maids to get busy.
Ye Anxin sat next to Mu Beiting, laughingly asked, "Uncle, are you hungry? If you’re hungry, eat the noodles first! I made them myself, and it’ will take a while for the maids to cook the al, don’t let yourself get too hungry!"
