"Mhm!" Ye Anxin nodded, lazily yawned, found a comfortable position in Mu Beiting’s arms, and closed her eyes.
Just as Ye Anxin was slowly about to drift into slumber, a knock on the door sounded once again.
Ye Anxin was startled, waking up suddenly.
Mu Beiting frowned, his thin lips pressed into a line, about to speak when a butler’s anxious voice ca from outside, "Sir, Mr. Yan is here, making a fuss downstairs wanting to see you!"
Without a second thought, Mu Beiting angrily said, "Tell him to scram!"
The butler hesitated, "But... Mr. Yan said he won’t leave even if he dies, claiming he’ll take up residence here!"
Mu Beiting coldly said, "Drive him away!"
"...!" Upon hearing this, the butler outside the door was at a loss.
Unable to drive him away, yet unable to not attempt it!
They all knew Mr. Yan’s character! They also knew his relationship with sir!
It wasn’t the first or second ti sir had said to drive him away! Yet the result? It ended up being just words, never truly having him driven away!

Although separated by a door, Ye Anxin seed to foresee the butler’s dilemma, lazily yawning, softly saying, "Uncle, I’m hungry! Why don’t we have so dinner first?"
Just as Ye Anxin finished speaking, a growling sound echoed fittingly from her stomach.
Mu Beiting looked down at her, then spoke to the butler outside the door, "Prepare dinner!"
"Yes!" The butler accepted the order as a reprieve, responding quickly and leaving.
"Stay lying down, don’t move!" With that, Mu Beiting lifted Ye Anxin out of his embrace, turned to get out of bed, and went to the bathroom.
Ye Anxin obediently stayed still, lazily yawning, lying on the bed with sleepy eyes.
Mu Beiting went to the bathroom to take a shower, then filled the bathtub with hot water! Only then did he co out, carry Ye Anxin in a princess hold, and gently place her in the bathtub.
As her body was subrged in the bathtub, Ye Anxin felt instantly soothed, much of her earlier fatigue dissipating.
To prevent Ye Anxin’s wound from touching water, Mu Beiting made sure her arm was outside the tub, even bringing a stool for her to rest it on.
"Uncle, you’re so nice!" Seeing Mu Beiting’s carefulness, Ye Anxin felt a warmth in her heart, moved nearly to tears.
Thinking about how well Uncle treated her, while she had doubted him last night, made her feel guilty! She should trust Uncle and not be swayed by Su Yuexin’s provocations.
Mu Beiting said nothing, taking a towel to gently wash her body.
As he cleaned her, he didn’t forget to wash her below as well.
"Uncle, don’t... I can do it myself!" Realizing his intention, Ye Anxin’s face turned red, hurriedly using her hands to block.
