Since the villa is halfway up the mountain, it takes an hour to drive to the city, so the servant took nearly two hours to buy sanitary pads for Ye Anxin and co back.
Fortunately, her period had just started and wasn’t heavy, and after a series of treatnts by Mu Beiting, Ye Anxin didn’t feel as uncomfortable as before!
After putting on the sanitary pad, Ye Anxin finally lay back on the bed with peace of mind.
Lying on the bed, Ye Anxin glanced at Mu Beiting’s pants. Even though he was wearing black loungewear, the large patch of dried blood was still quite visible!
Feeling guilty, Ye Anxin said, "Uncle, you should change your pants! I heard people say, that’s not clean, and it’s bad luck for n to get it on them!"
Mu Beiting replied casually, "I never believe in that stuff; I only believe in myself!"
"But, it’s still dirty, you should change into a clean pair!" Ye Anxin pleaded.
She rembered that he had a cleanliness obsession, right?
If soone just touched him slightly, he would beco very irritated, desperately scrubbing the place he’d been touched!
She didn’t want him to dislike her or feel disgusted by her.
"Okay." Mu Beiting glanced down at his pant leg and, saying nothing further, took out a clean pair of pants from the wardrobe and changed right in front of Ye Anxin.
Watching Mu Beiting quickly change his pants, Ye Anxin breathed a sigh of relief.
Although he changed his pants, he didn’t wash them or clean the part stained with blood!
Though it was pretty dirty, she would have washed up at least! But seeing that he didn’t avoid it at all and showed no sign of disdain, she was truly happy.
At least this proved she was different from others in his heart.
After changing his pants, Mu Beiting climbed back into bed, lay down beside Ye Anxin, and wrapped his long arms around her.
Ye Anxin quickly pushed him away, softly saying, "Don’t... I’m afraid it will leak while I’m sleeping, and it would be bad if I stained your clothes! Let just sleep on the side alone!"
Mu Beiting ignored her protest, held her tighter, closed his eyes, and domineeringly said, "Sleep!"
"...!" Ye Anxin tentatively moved her arm, but seeing that Mu Beiting had no intention of letting go, she gave up resisting and obediently lay in his embrace.
"It’s late, sleep!" Mu Beiting lowered his chin onto Ye Anxin’s head and gently stroked her long, smooth hair.
After the intense encounter earlier with Mu Beiting, Ye Anxin felt exhausted. After enduring it for a few more hours, she was really tired at this point! Under Mu Beiting’s comforting, she felt her eyelids grow heavier and soon, drifted into sleep.
Listening to Ye Anxin’s steady breathing, Mu Beiting slowly opened his eyes. Once he was sure she was asleep, he gently released her, covered her with a thin blanket, turned off the lights in the room, and left.
When Mu Beiting returned to the room, it was already two in the morning!
Mu Beiting went to the bathroom to wash his face, then returned to the bed, carefully gathered Ye Anxin into his arms, and fell into a deep sleep holding her.

Because of Ye Anxin’s leg injury, without her permission, Mu Beiting directly arranged for her to take a week-long mini vacation.
Ye Anxin obediently stayed at ho to recuperate, and every day after Ling Yueyue got out of school, the housekeeper would send a driver to pick her up to the villa to tell her about what was taught at school that day.
During this ti of recuperation at ho, Mu Beiting rarely left. Typically, Pete would bring docunts to the villa and they would work in the study!
Whenever she got bored, she would look for books in the study to pass the ti!
Most of the ti, Mu Beiting and Pete would be handling company affairs in the study, while Ye Anxin read quietly sitting on the sofa.
This went on for a week until Ye Anxin’s foot was completely healed, and she began attending school normally, whereupon Mu Beiting returned to his usual office hours.
A month passed in the blink of an eye!
Today, the weather was clear, sunny, and lovely! Mu Beiting got up early as usual, went for a run, and then went to the office.
Ye Anxin, like before, appeared in the classroom ten minutes early.
As soon as she entered, Ling Yueyue waved to her, and Ye Anxin smiled and carried her textbooks to sit beside her.
Once Ye Anxin was seated, Ling Yueyue imdiately pulled a red wedding invitation out of her backpack and tossed it in front of her, "Here...!"
"A wedding invitation? Whose wedding invitation?" Ye Anxin asked, puzzled, glancing at Ling Yueyue before opening the invitation. After seeing the nas on it, she was completely stunned.
On the invitation, the bride’s na was printed as Ling Yueyue, and the groom’s na was Huo Junmo!
Ye Anxin thought she was seeing things and blinked in disbelief, then rubbed her eyes vigorously, but the nas remained unchanged.
At this point, Ye Anxin was completely bewildered, incredulously asking, "Yueyue, are you... you’re getting married? And... to Huo Junmo? Oh my God... when did this happen, when did you two get together, why do I know nothing about it?"

Ling Yueyue teasingly lifted Ye Anxin’s chin, "Tch! You only got the certificate, you haven’t had the ceremony, so it doesn’t count! Besides, I don’t care about that stuff! For my wedding, you have to be my bridesmaid, nobody else but you!"
Ye Anxin tilted her head, pretending to think!
Just as Ling Yueyue was preparing to pounce, Ye Anxin nodded, feigning reluctance, "Since you put it that way, if I don’t agree, I’d be disrespecting you!"
"Do you want a beating?" Ling Yueyue lifted her fist, playfully making as if she was going to hit her.
