Mother Ye stood by the door, watching her daughter’s odd behavior with a vague unease welling up inside!
In twenty years, she had never seen her daughter like this!

Maybe she was too tired, or maybe being back with her mother made her feel at ease, she fell asleep shortly after lying down!

The words of Ruan Zhitong and Mu Beiting alternated around her ears, as Ye Anxin clutched her head in despair, their figures swinging before her eyes, their actions and words bloodying her heart!
"Ah...!" Finally, unable to bear the pain any longer, Ye Anxin shouted, sitting bolt upright in bed!
Ye Anxin stared ahead, eyes hollow and unfocused, tears mixed with sweat pouring down!
Hearing the noise, Mother Ye rushed in imdiately, sat by Ye Anxin’s side, anxiously asking, "Anxin, what’s wrong? What happened?"
Ye Anxin shook her head, still staring into space, her thoughts adrift.
Mother Ye reached out, touching Ye Anxin’s small face wet with sweat and tears, speaking with heartache, "Anxin, are you crying? Did sothing happen these days? Tell Mom, what’s wrong with you?"
Ye Anxin followed Mother Ye’s hand, tracing her own other cheek, looked down at the water stains on her hand, and her unfocused gaze slowly ca back to it!
After a while, she realized that her hands were actually covered with water, whether it was sweat or tears, she could no longer tell!
She only knew that she seed to have had a dream, a very real dream! Her heart hurt a lot! The promised letting go, letting up, all surfaced vividly in her dreams!
Actually, the dream was a true reflection of her inner self and what she feared most!
She was afraid of losing, even more afraid of being used all along!
But now, apart from hiding far away and curling up in a corner licking her wounds, she couldn’t find any other way!
What should she do? What to do?
Tears, once again, silently fell, one drop, two drops, then a group of them fell into Ye Anxin’s open palms!
Frightened by her appearance, Mother Ye held her tear-soaked hand, urgently asked, "Anxin, don’t scare Mom, what exactly happened? Why are you crying?"
Ye Anxin looked up at her mother’s concerned face, a bitter smile on her lips, wanting to say sothing but in the end saying nothing!
She didn’t want her mother worrying about her, she knew her mother and Yueyue were the only ones in the world who truly cared for her! She didn’t want those two to be sad for her!
She knew, although her mother was timid and apprehensive, for her, she was willing to do anything!
So, in the end, she chose not to tell her mother anything!
The less she spoke, the more worried Mother Ye beca, gripping her hand tightly, more urgently asking, "Anxin, what’s wrong with you? Don’t you know, Mom will be worried about you?"
