When Ye Anxin realized what Mu Mother had said, it was already too late! She only felt a powerful force push her hard from behind, and her already unstable body lost balance and lunged forward!
And right in front of her were the stairs; she reached out to grab the handrail to steady herself, but the force was too strong and relentless. Her hands flailed a few tis, unable to grab anything, and her body was sent tumbling down the stairs!

Ye Anxin closed her eyes in despair, just as she thought she was going to roll down the stairs! Suddenly, a pair of large hands grabbed her arm, pulling her forcefully upwards, and the next second she fell into a familiar and warm embrace!
In that instant when her body stabilized, Ye Anxin felt an unreal, dreamlike sensation! To confirm she was okay, she hurriedly opened her eyes and lifted her head!
As she raised her head, her fearful eyes t the icy eyes filled with angry flas!
"Uncle...!" Ye Anxin moved her lips, tentatively calling out!
"It’s okay now!" Mu Beiting held her tightly in his arms, with powerful arms embracing her shoulders, softly comforting her!
At the mont she heard Mu Beiting’s familiar voice full of concern, Ye Anxin felt a pang in her nose, tears instantly blurred her vision!
"Uncle, Uncle, just now we almost... almost lost our child! Uncle... thank goodness you appeared! If the child was gone, I would never forgive myself!" Ye Anxin spoke with a crying tone, and as she spoke, tears began to fall!
Mu Beiting gently comforted her with an unprecedentedly soft voice, "With here, I will absolutely not let anything happen to you and the child! Don’t worry!"
"Mm! I know, as long as Uncle is by my side, everything will be okay!" Ye Anxin nodded, and in that mont, the earlier fear vanished!
As long as Uncle was by her side, her anxious heart would calm down! She knew, Uncle would protect her, and definitely not let anything happen to her and the child!
Mu Beiting gently caressed Ye Anxin’s head, his gaze slowly shifted to Mu Mother standing aside, looking panicked and distressed!
At the mont his gaze fell on Mu Mother, the tenderness in his eyes dissipated, replaced by a bloodthirsty shimr!
"You...!" Scared by Mu Beiting’s fierce deanor, Mu Mother instinctively stepped back, just about to turn and run, but Mu Beiting extended his long arm, with calloused hands already clutching her throat!
"Mu Beiting, what are you doing? Let go! I’m your sister-in-law!" Mu Mother was thoroughly frightened, looking at Mu Beiting in panic, desperately clutching his hand, afraid he might accidentally break her neck.
"You dared to ss with my woman, tired of living!" Mu Beiting squeezed the words out from between his teeth!
As he finished speaking, his hand tightened suddenly, Mu Mother’s face imdiately turned a livid red due to lack of oxygen!
"Um...! Let... let go...!" Mu Mother felt a difficulty breathing, trying to speak, but couldn’t say a complete sentence!
Ye Anxin raised her head, and seeing Mu Mother’s almost suffocating face, felt a mont of indecision!
Although she disliked Mu Mother and felt deep revulsion at her behavior just now! However, she didn’t wish Uncle to carry a death because of her!
Mu Beiting lowered his head, worried she might be scared, softly saying near her ear, "Don’t look!"
Ye Anxin obediently buried her head in his embrace, acting as if she hadn’t seen or heard anything!
As Mu Beiting’s fingers tightened and breathing beca only outgoing, Mu Mother’s face slowly changed from red to blue, her eyes bulging, pupils almost popping out!

"Mu Beiting, what are you doing, release my mom, if anything happens to her, I’ll never forgive you!" Mu Rufeng tightly gripped Mu Beiting’s arm, trying to pull it back.

"Mom...!" Mu Rufeng shrieked, and hurriedly chased after Mu Mother’s falling body down the stairs!
After throwing Mu Mother down, Mu Beiting held Ye Anxin’s head tightly back into his embrace, preventing her from witnessing the bloody and cruel scene!
Ye Anxin blinked her eyes while leaning on Mu Beiting, though unable to clearly see outside, she heard the thud of a heavy object rolling down the stairs, followed by a heavy landing sound!
After rolling down the stairs, Mu Mother cried out in pain, then passed out directly!
"Mom, mom, how are you, mom...!" Mu Rufeng paused beside Mu Mother, looking at her fainted body in fright, besides calling out, didn’t know what else to do!
