Ye Anxin stood under the bathroom’s shower for a full forty minutes, only stepping out with satisfaction, wrapped in a bath towel.
When she erged from the bathroom, Mu Beiting was on the phone. Hearing movent behind him, he turned to glance at her, saying a few words to the person on the other end before hanging up.
Afraid she was interrupting his important work, Ye Anxin quickly said, "Uncle, if you’re busy, don’t worry about ! I can handle myself!"
Mu Beiting curved his lips, sat by the bed, and beckoned to Ye Anxin, "Co over!"
Ye Anxin nodded and, while drying her hair with a towel, walked toward Mu Beiting.
Once she was close, Mu Beiting pulled her into his arms, sat her down in front of him, took the towel from her hand, and gently dried the water from her hair.
Ye Anxin closed her eyes, enjoying Mu Beiting’s tenderness.
While keeping his hands busy, Mu Beiting said, "Later, I’ll go to the Nan Family, you can rest well at the hotel."
Upon hearing this, Ye Anxin was montarily stunned and quickly said, "Uncle, are you planning to leave at the hotel and go settle things with the Nan Family by yourself?"
Mu Beiting remained silent, and Ye Anxin took his silence as agreent, quickly saying, "No! Uncle, I want to go with you! Although what Nan’s mother did was excessive, this whole thing started because of her, and she really wanted to see how Uncle would handle it!
