Just a few steps away, Gu Xingchen approached from the opposite direction!

Hearing Ye Anxin’s phone ring, Mu Beiting pressed his thin lips together and, after a mont’s pause, fished out the phone. Seeing the call was from ho, he picked up directly. Xiao Bai’s displeased voice ca through, "Mom, what are you doing? Why aren’t you back yet? Didn’t you say you were tired and needed rest? If you’re so tired, why did you go out? You also said you’d join Dad and for dinner. I knew you were lying to !"
Listening to Xiao Bai’s voice, Mu Beiting’s throat tightened. He opened his mouth several tis, wanting to speak, but said nothing.
Hearing no response from Ye Anxin on the other end, Xiao Bai frowned and, with patience, said, "Mom, say sothing! I’ve called you so many tis since school ended, and you didn’t pick up. Mu Beiting gently reassured, "Be good, Xiao Bai. Have dinner and then go to sleep. Mom and I might be ho quite late!"
"I understand! I’m just a pitiful child being abandoned!" Xiao Bai grumbled softly, but couldn’t help expressing concern, "Mom and Dad, it’s snowing heavily outside today. Be extra careful when you return! If the snow is too heavy, I permit you not to co back tonight. Though I want you to be with , I don’t want anything happening to you!"

Listening to the busy tone from the phone, it took a while before Mu Beiting placed the phone back into Ye Anxin’s bag.
After putting the phone back, Mu Beiting was about to withdraw his hand when he saw a CD in the bag. His fingers twitched, and he took out the CD, flipping it repeatedly in front of him.
Sitting in the passenger seat, Pete saw Mu Beiting with the CD through the rearview mirror. Unable to resist, he glanced back. Upon seeing the label on the CD case, he remarked, "Boss, this CD was given to the Madam by Mr. Gu!"
Upon hearing this, Mu Beiting’s gaze shifted to the top left corner of the CD case, clearly seeing the Gu Group logo printed there.
Pete lowered his eyes and thought for a while, boldly guessing, "Could Madam’s disappearance be related to the contents of this CD?"
