Kamiko was considering the question when Sue changed it up, "Actually before we consider things we could do together what sort of hobbies do YOU have Kami?"
"Ur… well I don't know that I really have any? I was just going to retrain myself a bit now I'm rank 3 and everything is all ssed up. Not all of us can have good enough regeneration to shrug off injuries," grumbled Kamiko.
"But don't they make sure you can always complete the mission?" asked Kat.
"Always complete the mission? Yes. Complete the mission without getting injured at all? Not so much. Especially not once you start to go up in the Ranks or you get older. They give all the easiest missions away to the youngest demons that need the chance, but if I want to keep doing this sort of thing I'll be expected to take harder missions. It's just how it is," said Kamiko with a shrug.
"Hang on… you practice a bunch with your weapons right?" asked Sue.
"Yeah?" answered Kamiko.
"How co you didn't end up with friends from that?"
"Oh um… well…" mumbled Kamiko. "I mostly practiced with my family but when I didn't… people tended to end up in one of two camps. Either I'd be a lot better then them and they'd pick on in other ways and try to put down for it… or they'd just… be a bit too into it you know? Those guys scared a bit and it just… I enjoy my katas and practicing is nice but the ones who enjoy fighting think injuries are just the price of admission and… well I'm not going to be too mad but…" Kamiko trailed off not entirely able to explain herself with words.
"I think I get it," said Kat. "I'm not sure I'll ever have the sa problem but I can at least understand where you're coming from,"
"Yeah too," said Sue. "I didn't have entirely the sa experience but I do know a few guys who were more regularly DTF but were just a bit rough about it. I don't mind it on the occasion but the bite marks just don't do that much for . I don't find them especially creative,"
"Is… is that common?" asked Kat not sure if she wanted to really know.
"Eh… common compared to what?" offered Sue. "I didn't hang out with too many people into the more vanilla stuff because I can get that anywhere and pretty regularly have it co up during Contracts. I suppose… it's pretty common once you get away from that? Do you consider anal vanilla? If not that's definitely the most common fetish outside of the normal stuff. Oh and feet but I an… I consider that all pretty normal these days,"
"Why did I ask," mumbled Kat.
"Um… er… right well… injuries?" offered Kamiko as a way to try and avoid the topic…
But failed because Sue intentionally misinterpreted the 'question' "Well yeah bite marks are pretty common. Getting slapped all over the place… that's actually pretty nice if they've got the technique down. Um… 'track lines' are what I call lines made from people who have overly long nails. Mostly won but a fair few n have that problem. Um… hmm… hair pulling I guess? That's sorta hard though because mine is pretty slippery when you're trying to grab it. Hmm… what else…"
"Can we get back to more normal hobbies?" asked Kat.
"Hey you guys asked," retorted Sue with an unrepentant grin.
"Been holding that in a bit?" sighed Kat.
Sue shifted a bit and picked so of the jerky out of the bag to chew on for a mont. "Yeah… I dunno. I've been a bit light on the lewd jokes and that was intentional. Not sure how… '' it feels though. Trying to move away from sex is one thing… but really sexual puns are a separate issue and I think trying to pull away from them might have been a mistake. Though I admit that bit before might've been a bit much for you two and it wasn't really a joke, just a few facts,"
"Right well… what would you suggest we do together?" asked Kat.
"How should I know?" asked Sue with a shrug as she turned to Kamiko.
"? Urr… um… I'm fine with just about anything if I can spend ti with you both… er… um and Lily as well of course," said Kamiko.
Kat rolled her eyes, "Right now we've established nobody knows what to do… why don't we break down the problem. Should we look for an intellectual sort of thing? Like a book club, a movie club or maybe a course for like… coding or enchanting or so sort of skill? What about a sport we can all enjoy? A simple team sport like soccer or perhaps sothing more casual like skating around?
"Or maybe sothing more of a casual ga? Like sothing like golf, or perhaps so board gas? My little sister might be annoyed if we go without her so we could either take her, or I can use it as a chance to scout gas to buy and take ho. Perhaps we start going for walks? I don't know what the Hub is like outside the of the areas you've both shown . Are there places that are nice to walk through? Rock climbing? I'm open to suggestions here,"
Sue glanced over at Kamiko who glanced back and shrugged. Sue let out a sigh, "Right well… I say we skip the movie or book clubs. They're a bit too reliant on being ready to et up on that specific day and we all go on Contracts. Maybe if we had our own personal book club with the just the three of us it could work but perhaps put it on the backburner for now? If we're trying to narrow down where to start anyway,"
Sue and Kat turned to Kamiko who flushed. "Um… er… maybe not sports or like team gas? Sue already explained why that was an issue for her before… and I… I'd hate it if she was uncomfortable and just putting up with it for us… like um… she specifically ntioned golf not working out…"
Kat winced, "I was sort of picturing mini-golf when I said that but yeah you're right a lot of sports would still be an issue. So… ok where does that leave us? Specific classes, skating perhaps? Walks, and board gas?"
"I think I'd like to take off the classes and board gas," said Sue. "At least for now. Maybe once I find a hobby for myself I'll want to pull you guys in but… well if we're going to do sothing like this together, all three of us? I'd like it to be, at least mostly, just the three of us. Though… might make an exception for getting together and playing video gas? I'm not sure if I'd really want to but I know a few gas that are all four players and are more co-operative then PVP. That might be less rage inducing,"
This ti the gazes turn to Kat who smiled, "Right guess it's my ti to eliminate sothing. Um… hmmm… I know Lily would prefer to do sothing inside but at the sa ti that might be why I should take that off the list. Though… yes I think I'll strike off skating and similar sports. If we're doing this, I'd like to see more. More of the world, or more of the culture. If we're just going in circles that's not all that fun. Assuming… there are like forests and stuff here right?"
Sue nodded, "Yeah there are quite a few nature preserves… though so of them are more dangerous then others. With the demonic energy being all that's hear the wildlife is pretty deadly so we, that is 'demon society we' don't always let it stick around and in the places we do… well it's pretty deadly. There are hunting limits but that's not usually the main goal. So like… yeah just sothing to keep in mind,"
"Why not just go for both?" asked Kamiko. "I an… Sue finds us so gas we can play, and I ask my Mum about places we can explore? We don't have to do this like… right this mont, the days nearly over after all but… well yeah? Why put a limit on it? We can just set a ti for one or the other and push forward,"
"I like it," said Kat. "I know we've actually got quite a few 'maybe co back to it' type of things but… that's fine. This was really just a way to express interest. If we're doing both I think I'd like to start with a walk… but perhaps Sue can look into gas we might all like as well? That way we can chat about them on the walk if we need sothing to talk about. How does that sound?"
"I think it sounds great," said Sue with a smile.
"Yes… um… I think… I think that can work well," smiled Kamiko.
