--- Souris ---
Souris shivered as she looked over at Wiggles. "Regretting the decision to co with now? It's freezing!" hissed Souris as she looked around. She'd not planned properly for this sort of weather but luckily enough she was at the top of the giant pit that was the winter area. It wouldn't take too long to get to either the spring or autumn sections. Souris had no idea which was which though.
Wiggles seed to shrug at her, unconcerned with the weather, the lucky little rabbit. Souris grumbled, "Alright fine. Do we head to the nearest transition? Or do we look around first?" Wiggles pointed down the to bottom of the pit. "No we are not going down there. It's freezing and we have a perfectly good way to escape that issue," Wiggles huffed. "Yes, yes. I get that you're mocking but I don't want to freeze my tits off," Wiggles huffed again. Sohow getting across an insult about their size.
"How do you do that anyway?" Wiggles shrugged at the question. "I an… I suppose it makes so sense that you wouldn't know but it feels intentional. So sort of inherent ntal magic of so sort? You've basically always had it and I know it's not standard,"
Wiggles puffed up her chest proudly. "Yes, yes indeed you are an extrely smart rabbit," agreed Souris with a sigh. "You still haven't told what the plan is though. I'm tempted to head through the wall right now but if you think there's so easy grabs nearby I'm willing to go along with it," Wiggles nodded and hopped off… away from the transition point. *Dammit. I really hope this isn't going to keep here in the frozen section too much longer. I'm lucky I've got full body covering under this armour or the tal would be freezing to skin!*
--- Long Crackfist & Boney ---
Long raised a hand up to the sky. The sun had just rose above the horizon and he could already tell this was going to be a massive pain. The dessert was filled with random ass poles going to who knows where but they didn't have the decency to block the damned sunlight. Boney was whining already. "I know bud," Long said as he gave Boney a few scratches. On the chest rather then the head as picking just one of the two caused issues and he wanted his second hand free to grab his weapons. "It's going to get a lot hotter but we got options,"
Boney gave him a dopey look Long chose to interpret as 'like what?' "Well… we could start digging, try and find sothing down below the sand. We could head for a different section… though we aren't really close to that. We could try to find like a town or sothing with so indoor sections. We could backtrack and just rest in one of those holes in the pillars but I don't see why that would be all that useful… how much digging you feel like doing boy?"
Boney gave a happy woof that seed to indicate he'd love to do any amount of digging… but Long knew better. Boney was happy to dig for a little bit and loved burying stuff but the pup was easily distracted and didn't like to be stuck doing the sa thing for too long. They'd need to hit sothing interesting within the first half an hour or Boney would get bored. Then again, much longer then that and the heat would probably have caught up with them anyway. Long scratched at his cheek with one hand while running his other along his beard. "Fuck it we dig,"
Boney gave a long howl and started to throw sand everywhere. It was not very efficient, but Long didn't exactly have a shovel so he just did what he could. That was mostly shoving the giant piles of sand Boney was digging up further away from the hole. If the pup could just pick a direction and stick to it this would be easier but… alas, it wasn't to be.
Long reached into his armour, the little extended pocket that wasn't technically a storage device proved a safe place to store those orbs. Long tapped one against his bracelet and watched it fill back up as Long frowned. *Not sure how best to balance those… maybe using that now was wrong? Long felt around in his 'pocket' and found seven more inside. Eh probably doesn't matter.*
--- Ugalaz ---
Ugalaz, like a certain other healer. Hated pollen now. He wanted to curse out loud *THIS PLACE SUCKS!* He didn't know what ti it was. Didn't know if he was making good progress, didn't even know if he was heading in circles or not. He DID know that he now hated pollen with a passion and that trees with head height branches packed with flowers were indeed WORSE. Ugalaz was walking around with a hand over his mouth and nose to help with the issues and squinted through his eyes but it was not fun.
*Doesn't even matter that I'm not allergic to it or really irritated by it all that much. If that was the case I'd probably have so equipnt to deal with this shit but NO. It just clogs up my nose, sticking there and causing breathing issues with I inhale too much and swallow the shit. Gets stuck in my mouth too. Who thought this was a good idea?!*
Ugalaz didn't know it but everyone who'd ended up in this bio was rather certain that it was the worst. Mostly because none of them wanted to imagine that Thy had co up with soone else to top it. Sadly for them, as a dryad Thy didn't experience the sa sort of annoyance when it ca to pollen as everyone else, and hadn't properly taken into account mucus and other slightly sticky areas on people's faces so it was in fact much worse then intended.
Ugalaz stepped forward not properly able to see in front of him of course… and falling straight through the ground into a hidden area. Ugalaz grinned at the excuse to leave the fucking pollen… only to realise it hadn't been properly sized for soone like him and it was a tiny underground house that he'd fallen into. *Dammit! Would I rather crawl on my hands and fucking knees or deal with the pollen?*
A few monts later Ugalaz was dragging himself into the next room and shutting the door.
--- Skye Moore ---
Skye sighed, wondering how it ca to this. She was bound up tightly in a bunch of spider silk and left to hang in this room. The fact that Thy hadn't pulled her out for a 'dical evacuation' already ant the tree expected her to get out sohow. Skye sighed. *This is what I get for not watching my surroundings well enough.*
Skye had ended up in the sa area as Kat, not that she knew it. Skye had spent her ti on the edge of a swampy area, keeping a careful watch on the water for a bit before deciding that there were too many false positives and heading deeper into the mushroom forest, Timmy beside her. You see, ordering the guy to go for orbs in the water was… hit or miss. Mostly in that she couldn't ask Timmy to pick up orbs but she could ask for the berries that looked like them… so tis.
See, Skye had worked out that the more certain she was that it wasn't an orb, the easier it was for Timmy to go and grab it. The less sure? The less likely the little guy would listen to her even if it wasn't actually an orb. Probably counted as 'helping with challenges'. Sure the little guy could carry them afterwards but that didn't an it was sothing Skye was keen to keep doing.
So they'd headed into the mushroom forest, kept an eye out for monsters… but she'd let her guard down. It was when this weird eel thing that acted as a glowing vine had dropped down to attack her with a bunch of its slimy friends. Skye had fort them off only suffering minor injuries and sat down to get herself healed…
Only for the ground to rise up and trap her in a net of silk, and so, now she was here. Bound against her will and unable to escape with no Timmy to help her… maybe? Skye tried to request help from the Timmy that was hopefully around but couldn't be seen… only to rember that her mouth was stuck shut because of the silk. *Right. That's why I was surprised Thy hadn't grabbed earlier. I was going to just ask for an evac, it seed like it would save ti in the end… BUT I CAN'T.*
Skye wondered if this was punishnt for sothing or if she was simply unlucky? How many traps like this were spread around the area? It had taken over an hour's worth of travel after she'd left the swamp to get trapped so it wasn't like Thy could set it all up beforehand. Skye did still feel like she was being punished for sothing though.
*Do I use my enchantnts? I have that 'fire nova' one that's kinda pricy and sets everything near on fire… and the silk will probably burn. So will I… but I am a healer. But I'd be healer myself. But I don't use the standard healing formulas. Hmm… I guess the question is how much pain am I willing to go through to get second place.* Skye wanted to chuckle. It was sad, but likely true. Was she willing to burn herself alive… just a bit. For a chance at second place?
