--- Lily ---

Lily heard movent behind her and turned around to see Weaver slowly picking herself up. In a more literal way than most. Threads slipped from her fingers, up through the webs making up the ceiling to connect to her shoulders as she literally pulled herself up into a sitting position as if she was a puppet. The threads took a few monts to straighten her out as she glanced around the room only to stop on Lily and Hedera.

Threads lashed out, between one mont and the next Lily went from leaning against a wall to pressed up against Weaver’s body. Clearly, Lily was more concerned about Weaver’s wounds than she was, as Lily found her face pressed right up into a damage shoulder. Lily carefully tried to move her hands away from the silk and any damaged areas. "Oh you were real. You were both real and I’m free. It’s fine. It’s all fine..." mumbled Weaver as she hugged the two close.

"Careful Weaver, you’re going to hurt yourself," said Lily as she felt her breath being driven from her. Weaver had tighten the hug massively and while it wasn’t enough to damage Lily, her ears could detect the complaining of Hedera’s weaker body and it was best not to piss off the powerful spider lady.

Weaver’s whole body winced as she slowly let the two of them go... sowhat. Weaver still had a hand on Hedera’s shoulder and Lily could feel a few strands of silk wrapping around her waste as Weaver moved away, just a tad. "Oh... right..." Weaver glanced at her wound, and Lily noticed that it was actually healing quite a bit. Her arm was and chest were about as they were but her face had healed massively. Lily hadn’t noticed, but the webbing was coming away and now she was only missing an ear and a bit around that.

Her spider limbs seed to still be in about the sa condition, but Lily supposed that, assuming it worked like a normal spider, moulting would need to take place to fix that all up properly, probably several moults over the course of a few days or weeks. Depending on the specifics, Weaver could need to build up more energy stores for that. "How are you feeling?" asked Lily.

"I... well... honestly a bit dazed. It’s nice to know you were both real... I shudder to think of what I might have done had yet both left with Kat. Even looking at you both I struggle to remind myself that it’s all over. Just... give a mont," sighed Weaver.

*Apparently they’re two peas in a pod. I feel like I just had this sa conversation with Hedera. No wonder they clicked so well.* Weaver finished grabbing so more water for everyone and patting herself down a bit with a damp towel, perhaps to disguise the slight misting on her eyes. Honestly, Lily was broken from the ’illusion’ for a bit as it occurred to her how sophisticated the Weaver puppet body had to be to manage that.

Shaking her head Lily removed that thought from her mind. "It’s fine. I understand this can be sort of overwhelming emotionally. I rember what it was like when I was first getting used to Kat being around, and then later when we started dating. It was... a bit much, and your circumstances are considerably more extre than that. If you need a mont, or two that’s all fine,"

"Speaking of Kat," said Weaver, brushing off the suggestion. "How did things go with the mayor? I assu you would’ve woken if sothing needed to happen... but that’s a guess. I suppose I don’t know you two all that well yet,"

"Kat’s currently a bit lost. The mayor was tentatively interesting but needed to et with so people first so they scheduled the eting for tomorrow... which might be today? Surely it’s past midnight?" mumbled Lily, trailing off as she tried to work that out.

"My sense of ti has been completely broken by years of isolation I can’t help you," stated Weaver with a grin.

"I was asleep so I can’t help either," added Hedera.

Lily rolled her eyes. "It’s not that important. Kat’s currently lost because after doing a few things around town she went exploring and then got teleported away by a trap. Now she’s got no idea where the town is,"

"Does she still have the node on her?" asked Weaver.

"Of course," said Lily with a nod.

Weaver smiled at that and raised a finger. Lily waited. Hedera waited. Weaver remained still for another thirty seconds. "I think she’s... roughly due east of the village. She’s just about that from the place I dropped her off before, and the village was close to that correct?"

"Yes," said Lily as she forwarded the info to Kat. [Yeah and that would be nice... if I knew what way East was.]

*The sun rises in the East and sets in the West. Even if they use different directions here the translation should fix that.*

[Ah yes. Let just take a gander at the SUN this NIGHT. Surely it will reveal to it’s secrets.]

*Ah... woops. I don’t rember how to navigate via the stars or moon and they are much less certain to be the correct direction...* "Um... neither nor Kat know how to figure out which way that is without the sun," admitted Lily.

Weaver nodded. "Just have Kat head in a direction and then I can correct her angle. We can check back in after... say five minutes? Tell her to try not to go to far off course for anything during that ti,"

"Of course," agreed Lily as she relayed that over to Kat who just nodded and kept on with what she was doing. If the direction didn’t matter, Kat felt that she might as well go ’forward’ instead of any other way.

"So... what are your imdiate plans?" asked Lily. "Eventually we’re going to need to head out for orbs..." Lily saw Weaver visibly wince at that and corrected herself slightly. "... and while we can always co back to sleep and stuff you’ll still be alone a bit."

"You don’t have to change your plans for ," said Weaver, easily picking up on Lily’s altered plans.

"Well if you provide us so way to co back here then it really will be no trouble," said Lily. *Not only is Weaver a source of quests, but she’s also nice to hang around with while in character and this is a great place to hole up at night.*

Weaver seed to stutter for a mont, shifting from one position to the next. It was only slightly different, and Hedera didn’t seem to have noticed it but Lily was certain sothing had happened after her most recent statent.

"I... I certainly can make sothing like that. It would take so effort but well worth it. Um... you might not be able to co back EVERY night. My network is pretty damaged... but every second? Third? At least third... I could... I could live with that. I can deal with that," said Weaver, resolve visibly firming for that last statent.

Lily sighed. As firm as the resolved looked, she also had seen similar faces on Kat. "You’re just planning to stay awake until we get back though, aren’t you?"

Weaver visibly flinched back at the accusation. "Probably," Weaver admitted. Not really able to hide it after that reaction. "But that’s fine. I’ll be fine. I used to stay awake for much longer than a few days!"

"You also weren’t injured back then," stated Lily firmly.

Weaver sighed and nodded. "Well... I can always pay you for food I guess? I... don’t really have that much else around to offer though. Hmm... I guess if you bring food I can cook it for everyone? Not much of a reward and I can admit now that I’ll probably eat most of it... but... well..."

)

Lily nodded in understanding. *The ’safe haven’ for the night was too big a prize to just hand out. Thy probably realised that... but it would also be very out of character for Weaver to just kick us out. So instead we need to bring food to pay for the safety. It’s not much of a cost... honestly the bangle space is probably the most important limit here. Perhaps after a few trips we can convince her to make us a better one so we can store more food?*

Lily glanced at Hedera, obviously, and the elf nodded, likely understanding the sa as Lily had what was going on here. "That’s perfectly fine with us," said Hedera. "It’s not like we’re the best cooks either, and it would be good to have you closer to your old self again. Just in case anyway,"

Weaver nodded. "I can’t deny having a steady supply of food would be nice but don’t feel too pressured. I’ll survive and I do technically have ways of hunting myself now the paths are once again open properly... just need to rember the specifics..."
