Now reading: Chapter 2 2: Wayne’s Delicate Reputation from DC: I Reported Bruce Wayne… Then He Adopted Me, a Action novel by Rexlent47.

He had an impression of Gotham High School's Student Council President:

A beautiful girl with red hair and brown eyes, a few freckles scattered across her nose. She was from tropolis, transferred to Gotham due to her parents' job relocation, and every action she made carried a vitality and sunshine she had been imrsed in since childhood.

Tim didn't dislike the Student Council President; whenever he saw citizens of tropolis, he would always associate them with that just and benevolent human god.

Just as he didn't dislike this proposal—in Gotham, such things indeed happened easily, and several surprise checks were very necessary.

It was just that he was currently a little inconvenient.

The injuries from his fight with Killer Croc two days ago hadn't healed yet, and his back looked grueso.

If Tim were to take off his shirt in public, Gotham's dia, big and small, would be ecstatic, as if they had found a treasure, obtaining explosive material sufficient to sustain them for the next quarter.

Although Batman didn't care, Bruce's reputation could not be further hard.

After successively adopting two black-haired, blue-eyed young boys, Wayne's image in people's minds was already quite delicate.

Just think, his first adopted son ran away from ho right after turning eighteen, and his second adopted son was missing for months. When Jason's news circulated among the public again, his na was already carved on a gravestone in the cetery.

And not long after that, Wayne adopted a third black-haired, blue-eyed young boy…

If Tim himself weren't Robin, not dressed like a traffic light every night, actively roaming Gotham's nights, it would be hard to say how he would view Bruce Wayne.

Although in popular opinion, the wealthy are usually unkind.

But Tim was willing to bet everything he had that Bruce was indeed a good person.

What Bruce had sacrificed for Gotham, what he bore under another identity, far exceeded everyone's imagination.

Tim put down his book, stretched leisurely, and stood up to walk out of the classroom.

"Where are you going?" his deskmate asked him.

"To the restroom, and to see how long the line for the infirmary is."

Theodore watched Timothy leave the classroom.

It wasn't surprising that he was so closely monitoring the other's movents. Theodore was the mastermind behind this physical examination.

As an orphan, Theodore didn't have the ability to arrange a large-scale physical examination for the entire school. But he knew what thods could achieve his goal.

Firstly, Theodore was certain that the Student Council President was a kind, enthusiastic, and very proactive girl.

Secondly, when the sa information appeared repeatedly before humans in a short period, humans would deepen their impression of the matter.

The Student Council President would never know that the flyers "randomly distributed" on her desk by the Children's Charity Protection Agency, the conversation about school violence between two people next to her while eating lunch in the cafeteria, the plea letter slipped into her shoe locker, and the pitiful, red-wristed child begging her for food on the way ho from school, were all part of soone's deliberate arrangent.

The flyers—Theodore had placed them on her desk early in the morning.

The conversation at the next table during lunch—Theodore specifically sat next to two school bullies, and when the Student Council President passed by with her tray, he would actively leave, clearing the table for her.

The plea letter in the shoe locker—he wrote it with his left hand.

The child on the way ho from school—one of the little kids from Theodore's orphanage.

And finally, the most crucial step…

Theodore used an anonymous payphone on the street to call the principal of Gotham High School, asking him if he knew that his grandson was being bullied by two children in elentary school, and had to pay protection money every day.

He had learned about this last ti he was sent to clean the orphanage's attic, when he happened to stumble upon the two children's spoils distribution scene.

After being discovered, the two boys, whose combined ages didn't even equal Theodore's, showed no fear whatsoever; instead, they warned him not to ddle.

Gotham's special children, growing up wild and free.

The principal was shocked to learn that his grandson had been silently enduring school bullying. Just then, the Student Council President submitted a related proposal.

The two imdiately hit it off.

Thus, this school-wide physical examination ca to be.

But from Timothy's behavior, it seed he wanted to… find an excuse to escape?

Theodore pondered for a mont, then also left the classroom.

Tim walked out of the restroom, carefully wiping the water droplets from between his fingers with a tissue.

He took a detour past the infirmary, calmly retrieved a physical examination form from the doorway, found a quiet corner, uncapped the pen clipped to his shirt's chest pocket, and skillfully and smoothly filled in a series of data.

If soone were to hold Tim's physical examination form at that mont and compare it with a recently examined classmate's, they would discover that the diagnostic handwriting on both reports was identical.

The area in front of the infirmary was chaotic, bustling with people. Tim's small actions went unnoticed by anyone.

After doing all this, Tim smoothly put the pen back in his chest pocket, folded the physical examination form, and prepared to return to the classroom.

As he passed a corner in the corridor, Tim's gaze lingered for a mont on the mirror affixed to the wall, then he turned his head back uncertainly.

He had just seen soone, it seed.

—Theodore Green, his classmate.

This boy was quiet and aloof, with very little presence in the class, but Tim had always been very aware of him.

Especially in a few accidental monts, when Theodore slightly lowered his face and a hint of gloom quickly flashed between his prominent brow bones, Tim would instinctively focus his attention on him.

From the first day they t, Tim had realized: Theodore's appearance was very similar to soone he knew.

A very dangerous person.
