Facing Zod, who had appeared silently beside them, neither tron nor Orion noticed him in the slightest.
At this mont, thin beads of cold sweat seeped from their foreheads.
tron, in particular, pressed his palm firmly against the armrest of the Mobius Chair, his heart struck with alarm as he thought, "How is this possible? Why didn't even the Mobius Chair give any warning?"
They knew very well that in their current situation, if Zod had launched a sneak attack, they would have had no chance to react.
In an instant, tron forced himself to calm down and imdiately stated their purpose:
"Greetings, powerful Kryptonian. We are New Gods from New Genesis. We have been sent by the Highfather to escort the God of Machines to the dwelling place of the New Gods."
"This is Your Highness Orion, the Highfather's child and the God of Violence. I am tron, the God of Knowledge."
From the mont they appeared, Zod had already understood that they must have co for Hope!
What surprised him a little was how quickly these guys acted.
Hope had only just beco a God, and they had already sensed him and found him.
"Hmph! The God of Machines you speak of is my son. He will not, nor does he need to, join any other faction, and that includes you New Gods."
Zod rejected them directly without any hesitation.
"But as far as I know, the original form of this God of Machines was a mother box left on Earth by Apokolips, wasn't it?"
tron imdiately exposed Hope's secret identity.
Hearing this, Orion felt sowhat incredulous. Although he had sensed that this God of Machines had so connection to Apokolips, he had never imagined that he was actually a mother box.
At this mont, his resolve grew even stronger; he absolutely could not allow this God of Machines to be found by Apokolips and fall into darkness.
But facing tron's revelation, Zod rely asked nonchalantly, "So what?"
Seeing his deanor, Orion couldn't help but get a little agitated: "Do you know what a mother box ans to Apokolips?"
"If Darkseid knew the true identity of the God of Machines, he certainly wouldn't stand idly by."
Unfortunately, hearing his words, the expression on Zod's face didn't change in the slightest.
tron wasn't surprised by Zod's reaction at all. In his view, Zod was overly confident in his own strength.
He secretly thought to himself, "Another fellow who hasn't experienced Darkseid's terror!"
He then composed himself and said, "I presu Your Excellency hasn't yet crossed paths with Darkseid, have you?"
"He represents not just his own formidable combat power, but the entirety of Apokolips. This also ans you will be facing the dark forces of the entire Apokolips."
"And currently, only New Genesis, led by the Highfather, can contend with Apokolips. As long as the God of Machines joins us, he can receive protection."
He believed that Zod must have heard sothing about Darkseid's terrifying nature.
Even if there were many powerful warriors on the planet below, they would still appear sowhat outnumbered and weak against Apokolips's army of billions of Parademons.
"Perhaps you don't know that many changes have occurred on Apokolips, making its strength even more terrifying. And speaking of which, it's related to you Kryptonians!"
Seeing Zod unmoved, tron decided to reveal so more secrets to Zod. These were things he had inadvertently discovered while using the Mobius Chair to track Apokolips's movents.
He believed Zod absolutely wouldn't know, because these events had occurred long after Krypton's destruction.
At that ti, Zod was already leading his Kryptonian refugees, lying low on Earth.
Zod, however, showed so interest in his words and couldn't help but say, "Tell !"
Although this God of Knowledge had a lot of embellishnt, he, sitting on the Mobius Chair, was not embellishing at all.
"I presu you know that ancient Kryptonian scientists once created a terrifying biological weapon, don't you?"
At this, Zod imdiately reacted: "You an Doomsday?"
"Precisely. After the destruction of your Krypton, that monster awoke from its slumber."
"He rampaged across the Universe, slaughtering most life on several planets, until he was eventually lured into a massive teleportation channel specially prepared for him."
"The other end of the teleportation channel happened to be near Apokolips, so he broke into Apokolips and had a fierce battle with Darkseid. After being repelled, he left behind many cell samples."
"Apokolips's scientists have already used these cell samples combined with Parademons to cultivate an even more powerful biological weapon—the Doomsday Parademon."
As tron spoke, he continuously observed Zod's expression, hoping to find a subtle change.
However, he was disappointed; upon hearing this news, Zod showed none of the expressions he had anticipated.
Instead, he spoke with a hint of disdain: "I thought you would say sothing slightly more surprising. Is that all?"
Zod was now completely unafraid of Apokolips. If he were truly pushed, he would directly go to Apokolips and unleash an unrestricted supernova bombardnt.
This was his true killing move, an ability he had gained after the Sunlight genes in his body had fully matured and sublimated.
A full, unreserved supernova bombardnt was enough to destroy everything within a one-light-year radius. If he did it a few more tis, he guaranteed that there wouldn't even be a speck of dust left of Apokolips.
The so-called Doomsday Parademon army was just a joke in his eyes.
Seeing Zod's unyielding deanor, Orion gradually lost his patience: "What will it take for you to agree to let the God of Machines co with us to New Genesis?"
"Except for New Krypton, I will not go anywhere else."
It was at this mont that Hope's voice ca from below.
The two imdiately looked towards Hope. As fellow New Gods, Orion could sense the Source within Hope, naturally confirming his identity.
"Such a Soul aura… it truly is a chanical lifeform. How was this accomplished?"
Face to face with Hope, tron couldn't help but once again activate the Mobius Chair to probe the secrets on him.
As the God of Machines, Hope imdiately sensed it. The next mont, golden light surged in his eyes, and he reached out his hand towards the Mobius Chair.
Instantly, tron heard a series of danger alerts transmitted from the chair:
"Alert, extre danger!"
"Unknown power intrusion detected. Initiating self-protection, activating overclocking mode, calculating escape thods and escape probability…"
"Submit!"
As Hope uttered the two cold words, a powerful Divine Power began to intensify its invasion of the Mobius Chair.
