Constantine walked into Papa Midnite's bar, easily passing the identity check at the entrance.

His young sidekick wasn't so lucky; he had no idea of the rules here.

Watching Constantine's retreating back, he anxiously told the guard, "You know him, right? The legendary exorcist. I'm his apprentice, we're together."

As he spoke, he tried to walk in, but the guard silently blocked him.

Then, the guard took out a card and asked him to say the secret code it represented, but unfortunately, he couldn't answer at all.

Papa Midnite's bar is a neutral zone between Heaven, Hell, and the human world.

Therefore, people of all identities can coexist in this bar, and hybrid demons can be seen everywhere.

Constantine was not in the mood to pay attention to them at this mont and walked straight to the innermost part of the bar.

As the door slowly opened, what ca into view was a Black man wearing a top hat and exuding an aura of vicissitude.

When he saw Constantine approach, a hint of surprise appeared in his eyes.

Then he spoke first: "It's been a long ti since you've been here. I thought you felt guilty for selling fakes, but it seems that's not the case."

Hearing this, Constantine sat down sowhat awkwardly: "Midnite, I really didn't know it was a fake."

Previously, Constantine had sold Papa Midnite a valuable collectible, but unfortunately, that item was a fake.

"Alright, but you look much better recently. What happened, John!"

As a friend, Papa Midnite naturally knew about Constantine's physical condition.

But compared to their last eting, he found that the other party's body seed to have been injected with a burst of vital energy, and he imdiately realized that sothing special must have happened to Constantine.

"I t a mysterious alien. He temporarily alleviated my illness using so unknown thod."

Imdiately, he described Zod's appearance in detail to Papa Midnite, wanting to see if the well-inford Papa Midnite had heard of Zod.

Constantine still didn't quite believe Zod's words about world-traveling.

However, after listening to him, Papa Midnite just calmly exhaled a puff of smoke and said:

"John, I think you should know that I am a sorcerer, not a human scientist, and I have no research on aliens."

"No, Midnite, he's not just a simple alien; he might even be a god."

Hearing this, a slightly unusual expression finally appeared on Papa Midnite's face, because he had once dealt with an evil god.

"John, this is no trivial matter."

"Do you think I'm a person who jokes around?"

Constantine naturally pulled out a cigarette from his pocket, was about to light it, but thought about it and put it back.

This action of his made Papa Midnite also stunned for a mont, and then a smile of unknown aning appeared on his face.

Then he said: "I'm afraid I don't know of the existence of such a god, but you are really lucky. Last night I vaguely heard thunder, and I think that might have been Satan's hungry roar."

"He should have been ready to harvest your Soul, but now it seems he might have to wait a little longer!"

In response, Constantine showed an noncommittal expression.

"Since you've regained your health, then I suppose you didn't co to for solace. Tell , what is it?"

Knowing Constantine's nature of only visiting when he needed sothing, Papa Midnite no longer beat around the bush and asked directly.

"I was just attacked by a demon on the street."

"Is that strange? You've driven so many demons back to Hell over the years. They hate you, so isn't it natural for them to attack you?"

"Midnite, this ti it's different. That was a purebred demon, unlike these hybrids. A true demon appeared brazenly in our world."

Hearing this, a look of disbelief imdiately appeared on Papa Midnite's face: "John, I don't think I need to remind you that this is impossible, do I?"

"Demons belong to Hell, angels belong to Heaven; this is the Dao of balance in this world."

Seeing that he clung to his beliefs and didn't believe what he said, Constantine didn't intend to say more and spoke directly: "I want to borrow that chair."

The chair he referred to was a special tool, or more accurately, an electric chair that had executed over two hundred extrely evil individuals.

Because it had ended so many lives, this execution electric chair had beco a tool that could connect to Hell; sitting on it could send a person to Hell.

The continuous appearance of purebred demons these past two days had already given him a bad premonition, and Zod's words further confird this.

So the best way to figure all this out was for him to personally go to Hell again.

This ti, Papa Midnite finally raised his head and said with a serious expression: "John, even if your body seems to have improved now, using that thing will still kill you."

"Moreover, you should understand my original intention in creating this place; I will not interfere with anything that would break the balance."

Listening to this, Constantine wanted to persuade him, so he brought up his past experiences: "You were once a powerful sorcerer who single-handedly fought thirty demons..."

But before he could finish, he was interrupted: "That's in the past now. Now I just want to remain neutral."

Constantine imdiately stood up, propped his hands on the table, and said with a serious face: "The situation is not optimistic. Please believe , I am serious, Midnite!"

"Oh, oh, oh, how terrifying!"

Just then, a hybrid demon walked in, interrupting their conversation, toying with a silver coin in his hand.

The mont he saw him, Constantine imdiately called out his na: "Balthazar!"

This was an old acquaintance of his, who often provoked him and had orchestrated many sches; he was a guy who desperately wanted to beco a true demon.

He also noticed the changes in Constantine at this ti and thought Papa Midnite had helped him, and the expression on his face imdiately turned unpleasant, so he said sinisterly:

"How disappointing. I thought you were going to die soon; I was all ready to taste your fresh flesh and blood!"

Hearing his words, anger imdiately flared up in Constantine's heart: "You damned bastard, I'll beat you back to where you belong right now."

Saying that, he was about to pull out his golden knuckle dusters from his pocket for a physical exorcism.

And Balthazar wasn't afraid at all, because he knew what kind of place this was.

"Bang!"

Sure enough, the next mont, a dull thud ca from behind.

Papa Midnite's voice, tinged with anger, ca: "Enough! Don't cause trouble on my turf!"

"I have sothing to say to him, John."

Knowing that this ant the other party wanted him to leave, Constantine, despite his reluctance, decided to leave and cool down first.
