Now reading: Chapter 22 22 Wonder Woman vs Fiora from DC: Reborn Zod, I Will Make Krypton Great Again!, a Action novel by TripleCrownss.

Just as Zod was reveling in the exhilaration of his increased power, new uninvited guests arrived!

After Diana returned to human society from Paradise Island, she began to gather information about Zod and his group through various ans.

This continued until the battle between Zod and Abin Sur high in the sky a while ago.

After a series of eliminations, she finally focused her attention on the icy northern pole.

Thus, she resolutely headed to the North Pole alone.

The protective force field created by Leto and his team could block electronic detection and even obscure human sight.

But Diana, refusing to believe in evil, forcibly broke into their base camp.

All the Kryptonian warriors imdiately reacted, surrounding Diana.

Fiora flew forward and sternly questioned, "Who are you, and why have you trespassed into our base?"

"Speaking of trespassing, it should be you who have trespassed on Earth, outsiders."

At this mont, Diana held her God-Killer shield in her left hand, blocking in front of her, and gripped the Sword of Athena tightly in her right hand, poised for battle if a single word went awry.

Just as the tension mounted, Zod descended from the sky, landing in front of her, his aura intensifying the fighting spirit in Diana's eyes.

She could tell that Zod was the strongest among this group, even comparable to Ares, whom she faced decades ago.

This made her wonder if the person before her was also a "god"!

Looking at the heroic and battle-ready Amazon, Zod spoke, revealing her identity: "Wonder Woman, Diana Prince, Princess of the Amazon tribe on Paradise Island, Daughter of Zeus, God-Killer!"

Hearing the first half of the sentence, Diana had no reaction, but when she heard Zod say she was the Daughter of Zeus, her brows imdiately furrowed.

This secret was sothing even she only learned from Ares, and she had never revealed it to anyone else.

Even in the story of her origins that her mother told her from a young age, she was a child molded from the clay of Paradise Island, who only gained life and divine power through the blessings of the Gods of Olympus.

Therefore, she was born with a sacred mission.

It wasn't until she left Paradise Island with the mission to kill Ares and end the war among humans that she understood everything.

Diana had now forgotten that she ca to question whether the other party was a minion of Darkseid; she only wanted to find out how the other party knew about her origins.

Because in this world, besides her mother, perhaps only the other "gods" knew about her origins!

But Zod and his group clearly ca from beyond Earth.

So, Diana frowned and asked directly, "Why do you know all this?"

"Is it not obvious enough? If your father were not Zeus, the King of the Gods, how could you possess divine artifacts like the Bracelets of Submission, the Lasso of Truth, and the Tiara of Power?"

"And the blessings left by the gods upon you—would all of this be present on you if not for the blood of the King of the Gods flowing in your veins?"

Zod spoke without ceremony, montarily leaving the formidable Amazon standing stunned.

She looked at her entire set of equipnt, unsure what to say.

Were these things really so conspicuous?

However, she imdiately dismissed these questions, as they were not important.

"Who exactly are you, and what is your purpose in coming to Earth? And why do you know so much about ?"

As she spoke, Diana put her God-Killer shield back behind her, but quietly gripped the Lasso of Truth in her hand.

It seed that if Zod didn't answer, she would use this divine artifact to force him to.

Legend has it that the Lasso of Truth was forged by Hephaestus, the God of Fire, from the golden girdle of Gaea, the Earth Goddess; anyone bound by it could only speak the truth when questioned.

A battle seed imminent, but Zod was a bit frustrated, muttering to himself, "Why isn't the system triggering a mission at a ti like this!"

He had been hoping to gain so benefits from one of the future three giants of the Justice League, but after waiting a long ti, he didn't hear the sound he wanted to hear.

This imdiately dampened his spirits, so he said to his adjutant behind him, "Fiora, you accompany this Amazon princess to stretch her limbs."

Upon hearing this, Fiora also stepped forward, her face full of fighting spirit.

As a warrior, and one of the rare female warriors, Fiora naturally wanted to test her strength against another equally powerful female warrior!

"Wait, you still haven't told who you are!"

Seeing Zod about to leave, Diana couldn't help but feel anxious; she still wanted to know more information from Zod.

At this mont, Zod stopped and said,

"We are rely a group of wanderers who have lost our ho; Earth is only our temporary habitat. We will leave once we find a suitable place. We bear no ill will towards Earth."

Hearing this, Diana was skeptical; although her suspicion wasn't completely dispelled, her hostility had diminished considerably.

However, she pressed on, asking, "You are not from Earth, so why do you know so much about ?"

Not only was Diana perplexed by this question, but all the Kryptonian warriors were equally puzzled as to where their General had obtained this information.

After all, there was no record of this in Krypton's database.

Of course, the only one present who wasn't confused was Fiora; she attributed everything to what Zod had told her earlier—that he had seen the future.

So, no matter what astonishing actions Zod took now, she wouldn't be surprised.

This ti, Zod didn't turn his head, rely stating, "If you can defeat my adjutant, then I will naturally tell you everything you wish to know."

"Good, it's a deal!"

Diana imdiately agreed to Zod's condition!

She then refocused her mind, intently staring at Fiora before her.

Seeing this, everyone imdiately dispersed, leaving enough space for their battle.

Just before the two were about to strike, Zod's voice ca from a distance: "Rember to stay far from the base; if you break anything, you'll have to pay for it."

This remark instantly dissipated much of the montum the two had just built up.

Fiora had no complaints about this and obediently flew away from the base.

Diana, who had not yet learned to fly, could only cast a sowhat resentful glance in the direction Zod had disappeared, then leaped and followed after her.

Once they stood still, the two exchanged no idle words, simultaneously charging at each other at an extrely fast speed, then colliding fiercely.
