End of Tribulation.
This is the news that Chen Mu heard from the Master of Tianji, and it pletely aligns with his understanding of the Great Dao.
The Azure Sky Universe also has its day of silence, caught in endless reincarnation, though one cycle of silence may be immensely long, stretching across millions of tribulation years, but ultimately, it has an end.
The Great Dao will never decay, yet the past and future form a circle, and the void endlessly cycles between nihility and existence, so when everything silences, everything within this universe will cease to exist. Even a Divine Monarch of the Nine Layer Heavens cannot resist the silent annihilation of the Origin Dao.
Only the Dao Venerables can resist such universal silence.
They have fully prehended the Great Dao and unified with it, being part of the Origin Dao themselves, which is eternally immortal. Naturally, they too bee eternally immortal.
However, this immortality indeed es with a certain cost, something Chen Mu did not understand before. It was only when discussing with the Master of Tianji, Bei Yu, and many other Nine Layer Heavens beings that he became aware of these supreme secrets of the universe.
The creation to silence of the universe marks a single cycle of reincarnation.
Dao Venerables, embodying the Great Dao, can naturally traverse reincarnation, entering into the next creation of the universe, undying, eternal, and immortal.
However,
The Origin Dao is so vast, possessing an extremely strong assimilative property, so despite their unity with the Dao, remaining undying and immortal, the Dao Venerables will gradually be assimilated by the Dao over the long epochs, losing themselves and being part of the Dao.
They do not perish; their essence of life remains, and it might even diffuse into the boundless universe with its creation. Those various tribes and races that exist every time a universe is born often have a Dao Venerable in their lineage, exerting a subtle influence on the Dao.

Besides this, these Dao Venerables will treat everything in the world indifferently, just like the Origin Dao, or rather bee part of the universe’s rules, no longer possessing an independent divine status.
And this limit, for ordinary Dao Venerables, is through three cycles of reincarnation.
Upon mastering one of the three Origin Daos pletely, one steps into the Realm of the Dao Venerable, and a Dao Venerable can withstand three universal silences before fully assimilating into the Dao.
Chen Mu also knows that in the current era, it is rare to see the Dao Venerables from the previous or the one before that era because they are all resisting the assimilation of the Dao, rarely appearing in the world, all striving to reach the realm of ’Transcendence’.
Only transcendence can truly break free from the shackles of the Dao, being transcendent above the Origin Dao, transcendent beyond the universe, truly reaching the other shore, truly obtaining great freedom.
Yet, the path to transcendence, even for Dao Venerables, is indeed distant.

Must fully master the three Origin Daos!
Even for Dao Venerables, most have only mastered one Dao, and mastering the other two is not easy. Typically, mastering each additional Dao allows enduring a few more cycles of reincarnation.
Mastering two Daos allows enduring six cycles of reincarnation; mastering all three allows enduring ten cycles!

Is the fusion of the three Origin Daos!
Very few have reached this step. According to Chen Mu’s knowledge, in the vast universe, only four beings have achieved this. The first is the Hall Master of the Time Temple, spanning ancient and modern, reportedly having crossed many universes’ silences, and the Time Temple even has an Eternal Ship. It is said that as long as one boards this Eternal Ship, even a True God of the Nine Layer Heavens can pass through the silence into the next reincarnation era.
The second is the Island Master of the Time-Space Island. pared to the Time Temple, this Island Master is much more mysterious. The Time-Space Island, though one of the top forces in the universe, never recruits anyone, with the island said to drift in the depths of time and space with only the Island Master, indifferent to all living beings.
The third is the Hall Master of the Vast Divine Palace, born in the current reincarnation era, and the only being in this era to achieve the mastery of three Origin Daos and even partly plete their fusion.
The fourth is the Primordial Lord, also very mysterious, who personally established a Primordial Void, never appearing, yet within that void lies countless strong beings, producing numerous Nine Layer Heavens entities, including a Dao Venerable in the current reincarnation era serving by the Primordial Lord’s side.
Of course,
these are just the legendary top Dao Venerables known across the universe.
There might be others who have reached this realm, but they have not appeared in the world since this universe’s creation, and thus their names are not passed down, which is quite normal.
After all, the more cycles of reincarnation one goes through, the less of ’self’ remains and the more of the ’Dao,’ gradually estranging from life, being more like the Dao, and naturally appearing less in the world, until being wholly a part of the Dao.
As Chen Mu currently understands,
in the current reincarnation era, nearly a hundred Dao Venerables have been born thus far.
Before the last universal silence, surely many Dao Venerables were also born, having experienced the silence to arrive at the current reincarnation era, yet very few of them truly appear in the world, only around twenty or thirty.
