Huo Jinnan ended the call and glanced at the rearview mirror. Gu Jizhou’s car had caught up again.
He held the steering wheel with one hand and lit a cigarette with the other. Taking a drag, his slender fingers curved gracefully on the steering wheel, maintaining a two-ter distance from Gu Jizhou.
Gu Jizhou kept following without any more impulsive actions.
Huo Jinnan leisurely maneuvered the steering wheel, driving out of the city.
Soon after, Gu Jizhou’s phone began to ring incessantly.
He glanced at it, saw calls from his mother, father, and even his great-grandfather, but had no mood to deal with them and switched off the phone.
The elder Mr. Huo, upon hearing "Sorry, the mobile phone you’ve dialed is switched off," slamd the phone down in a fury and turned to Huo Jinyun and Gu Yunping, "How exactly do you normally educate Jizhou?"
"Grandfather..." Huo Jinyun sat there, wanting to explain but dared not speak further upon seeing the old man’s face.
Gu Yunping sat with a poor complexion, unable to voice his thoughts. It wasn’t Jizhou who had beco like this but the coddling he received from the elder and Jinyun—yet, these words, he couldn’t say.

The elder sat there, his complexion ashen with anger, feeling a series of pains in his chest.
Huo Jinyun sat beside him, not daring to make a sound, for after all, it concerned the Qin Family.
The grandfather had tried to avoid conflicts with the Qin Family all these years, never expecting Jizhou to unfortunately cause such a scene with them.

Gu Jizhou closely followed the Porsche, not noticing a large tow truck approaching from behind.

Suddenly, the car began to shake.
By the ti he realized what was happening, his car was violently hoisted up.
"Shit!" he cursed, thinking it was Huo Jinyun who did this. He turned on his phone and called Huo Jinyun, "Mom, have you gone mad?"
"Shut your mouth. Your great-grandfather ordered the tow," Huo Jinyun hung up the phone, rage smoldering within her.
Gu Jizhou, hearing the "beep beep..." sound, threw his phone aside, sat in the driver’s seat, and let the tow truck lift his car onto the trailer. He glanced in the direction of the departing Porsche, closed his eyes, and punched the steering wheel hard.

Half an hour later, he was towed back to Huo Mansion, where two guards escorted him directly to the elder.
The elder’s face was a slate of iron as he looked at Gu Jizhou, his brows twitching at the sight of the bruises and bloody scratches on his face, his frown deepening, "What happened?"
Gu Jizhou remained silent.
Huo Jinyun looked on with distress and quickly spoke up, "Your great-grandfather is asking you, why aren’t you answering honestly?"
Gu Jizhou lowered his head, "Got into a fight."
