"Thank you, future wife."
Qin Shaojin lowered his head and lightly pecked Wen Nuan’s lips.
Wen Nuan stood there, eyes wide open.
Qin Shaojin held Wen Nuan’s hand as they left the guest room and went to the breakfast area. They had just sat down for a few minutes when Shu ngng walked over.
Seeing Shu ngng about to sit at the table next to them, Wen Nuan pressed her lips together, "ngng, having breakfast? Join us."
Shu ngng glanced at Wen Nuan, walked over, moved a chair, and sat directly next to Qin Shaojin.
Qin Shaojin’s expression turned a bit colder, "Shu ngng."
Shu ngng looked at Qin Shaojin and smiled enchantingly, "Third Brother."
Seeing her reach out to hug his arm, Qin Shaojin pushed Shu ngng away.
Shu ngng’s face instantly turned pale.
Wen Nuan glanced at her, mumbling to herself that she truly didn’t care about her.
Qin Shaojin stood up and looked at Wen Nuan, "I’m going to the front desk."
Wen Nuan nodded, "Okay, hubby."
Shu ngng heard the word "hubby," frowned uncomfortably, and her hand on the table gradually tightened.
After Qin Shaojin left.
She looked up at Wen Nuan.
Wen Nuan smiled at Shu ngng, "ngng, don’t mind him, he’s always lacking gentlemanly manners."
Shu ngng stared at Wen Nuan without saying a word.
Wen Nuan looked at Shu ngng, thinking her expression blatantly showed she wanted to steal her man. Can’t she be a little more subtle?
She lightly coughed, "ngng, about you and him, he already told . I believe it’s a misunderstanding. Even if you’re not blood relatives, you’re still his cousin. He definitely wouldn’t do such a thing."
Shu ngng looked at Wen Nuan, her face instantly drained of color.
Third Brother actually told her everything!
Wen Nuan!
Her hand clenched tightly, so much that her bones ached.
She looked at Wen Nuan and suddenly smiled.
That smile gave Wen Nuan a chill, reminding her of the smile from last night—it was almost identical.
Seeing Wen Nuan’s reaction, Shu ngng’s big, captivating eyes stared unwaveringly at Wen Nuan, her voice slowly and hauntingly spoke, "Do you know? I have severe de-pres-sion—"
Depression!
Wen Nuan was a bit surprised looking at Shu ngng, not understanding why she would suddenly say this to her.
Shu ngng was pleased with Wen Nuan’s reaction, her large eyes sparkling, "Miss Wen, don’t you know depression is also a ntal illness? I have a ntal illness, a very serious one. I rember the worst episode was when I hit soone with my car..."
Her tone was a bit strange, making Wen Nuan’s skin crawl.
Is this Shu ngng trying to threaten her?
Could she really be that intimidated?
Humph!
Wen Nuan looked at Shu ngng, smiling sweetly, revealing two sharp little canine teeth, "Oh, is that so? I heard that ntally ill people aren’t held criminally responsible for murder; looks like that’s true. However, I believe you didn’t do it on purpose. Looking so beautiful, how could you be so malicious?"
Shu ngng’s smile froze on her face.
Wen Nuan puckered her lips, "Am I right?"
Shu ngng clasped the tablecloth tightly, lightly saying, "Exactly! Even if I killed you, I wouldn’t need to bear criminal responsibility."
Wen Nuan displayed two adorable dimples, "It seems it’s not quite like that, since you’re not currently having an episode, are you? Oh, forgot to tell you, I also studied law, so you would have to bear criminal responsibility. And by the way, ngng, don’t you look a bit older than ?"
Shu ngng’s face darkened with rolling clouds, "..."
Wen Nuan pressed her lips together, smiling apologetically, "It must be uncomfortable for you to call sister-in-law, right? It’s okay. You can just call Nuannuan from now on, and I’ll call you Sister ngng."
