Huo Jinnan, "Captain."
The Captain looked at Huo Jinnan.
Huo Jinnan gestured towards the window, "Go, see if there’s anything left in the yard from what you found yesterday."
The Captain glanced at Huo Jinnan, then quickly dashed towards the balcony and jumped out the window.
Qin Huan looked at Huo Jinnan, "Did you find out what it was, big brother?"
Huo Jinnan, facing Qin Huan, "Not yet."
Qin Huan frowned; not telling her ant it must be sothing particularly dangerous.
Huo Jinnan, "I’m going out to take a look."
Qin Huan nodded, watching him leave, guessing what the Captain might have found. Could it be a virus?
Soon she shook her head, it shouldn’t be; how could a virus hanging in a tree infect people!

About half an hour later, the Captain, with several items in its mouth, ca into the hall, placed them next to Huo Jinnan’s shoes upon seeing him.
The old man glanced, "More?"
Huo Jinnan, "Yes."
The old man furrowed his brows, "Captain, go to the bedroom and call Xiaoying over."
The Captain barked once, ran to the bedroom, and brought Xiaoying back.
Xiaoying walked quickly ahead, afraid of being bitten by the Captain behind her.
The Captain followed, "Woof woof~"
"Woof woof~~"
"Woof woof woof~~~"

The spot where Xiaoying was bitten hadn’t healed yet; hearing the Captain’s barking, she walked faster and faster.
She stopped in front of the old man, and the Captain stopped with her.
The old man looked at the Captain, "Thank you."
He fed the Captain a piece of dog food.
The Captain bit it, squatting there, glaring fiercely at Xiaoying.
The old man shifted his gaze to Xiaoying, pointing at the items next to Huo Jinnan’s shoes, "What are those?"
Xiaoying glanced and shook her head, "I... I don’t know what those are either."
The old man chuckled, "Not being honest?"
Xiaoying, "I... I really don’t know."
The old man looked at Uncle Guan, "Go outside, buy a yard, have soone take Xiaoying there, and put these things in her room."
Uncle Guan looked at the old man, "I’ll get on it now."
Xiaoying stood there, suddenly trembling violently.
The old man ignored her.
Uncle Guan had already left.
Huo Jinnan stood listening, looked at the old man, "Find so people to watch her, lest the news gets out."
The old man looked at Huo Jinnan, "Okay."
He turned back to Xiaoying, rembering Ayun from years ago, "So young, yet with such a vicious heart!"
Xiaoying wanted to defend herself but couldn’t make a sound.
Huo Jinnan, "Captain."
The Captain barked towards Huo Jinnan.
Huo Jinnan spoke in a cold voice, "From now on, keep an eye on Xiaoying at all tis."
The Captain, "Woof woof~"
Huo Jinnan, "Go."
As soon as he finished speaking, the Captain followed the order and trailed after Xiaoying.
Huo Jinnan returned to the bedroom, Xiaoqi had been washed and was being placed on the bed to change clothes.
The little girl was so tired she had fallen asleep with her eyes closed, her long eyelashes casting a dark arc, her small lips tightly pursed, irresistibly adorable.
