Qiao Qiao patted Che Huan on the shoulder, "Alright, I’ve got things to do. Just wanted to check in on you and take a drive. I’ll look for you to have dinner later tonight."
"Hmm." Che Huan watched Qiao Qiao leave, staring at her retreating figure, not expecting Huo Jinnan to have resolved things so easily with a simple phone call.

Qiao Qiao arrived at the doors of the Dean’s office at the First Hospital. The door was open, so she knocked lightly.
When the Dean saw it was Qiao Qiao, he said, "Co in."
Qiao Qiao entered, "Dean, I might not be able to co to work tomorrow."
The Dean, surprised to hear Qiao Qiao would be resigning tomorrow, a flash of astonishnt crossed his eyes, "This is too sudden, Qiao Qiao, you’ve completely caught off guard."
Thinking about the person backing Qiao Qiao, he tried to persuade her but seeing her determination, it wasn’t good to insist, "Alright then."
Qiao Qiao, not reassured about Che Huan, "There’s sothing I’d like to ask of you, Dean. I have a friend who hasn’t studied nursing, but she’s very ticulous. I hope that after I leave, she can take my position. Please take good care of her."
"If she’s soone you recomnd, then of course," the Dean stood up and walked Qiao Qiao out of the office.
After leaving the Dean’s office, Qiao Qiao made a call, "Huanhuan, sothing has co up tonight, and I can’t make it back. I’ll co to see you another day."
After hanging up, she dialed another number.
At nine o’clock in the evening, Qiao Qiao sat in the western restaurant, stirring her coffee as she looked towards the entrance.
It wasn’t until Qin Shaojin ca in that she stood up, "Uncle San."
The first ti Qin Shaojin heard Qiao Qiao call him Uncle San.
Qin Shaojin didn’t respond, seated himself opposite Qiao Qiao and looked at her, surprised that she had called him out. With a peach blossom-like smile and a harmless look, he chuckled.

Qiao Qiao took a sip of her coffee and spoke slowly, "Che Huan."
Qin Shaojin turned to the waiter, ordered a few desserts that girls generally liked, then looked at Qiao Qiao, "Did you find for her sake?"
Qiao Qiao nodded and put down her coffee cup, "I might be leaving Hong Kong tomorrow. All these years, she has been my only friend."
A smile played on Qin Shaojin’s lips.
Qiao Qiao took another sip of coffee, "Uncle San might already know, but I still want to say it again: Huanhuan has been through a failed marriage. If you can accept that, please treat her well; if you have doubts in your heart, then leave her. Don’t give her hope, just give it to straight."
Qin Shaojin caressed his coffee cup with his hand but didn’t answer, "Why the sudden decision to go abroad?"
Qiao Qiao smiled, "The world is so vast, I want to see everything."
Qin Shaojin played with the coffee cup in his hand, "She’ll be fine in the future. You should be more concerned about yourself."
"No need to trouble yourself with my affairs, Uncle San." Qiao Qiao, reassured by his words, smiled politely and distantly, finished her coffee in one gulp, and looked up at the waiter, "Check, please."
Qin Shaojin, still playing with his coffee cup, "Is this your treat?"
Qiao Qiao smiled, "Uncle San knows I’m not rich; I only invited you for coffee. You ordered the desserts yourself, so you can pay for them."
Without saying anything further, Qin Shaojin asked, "Where to?"
"A person without roots is like duckweed, floating wherever it pleases," Qiao Qiao said while browsing her wallet, "Oh yes, Gu Jizhou often harasses her. If you’re a man, don’t let him bother your future wife."
