Hearing the little one’s voice, the old master snapped back to reality, finally catching his breath, "Anan, you’re hurt?"
Uncle Fang supported him as they approached.
Following the little one’s gaze, the old master saw the injury on the back of Huo Jinnan’s hand—a gash that seed to have been carved by so sharp object, blood crusted over it, and it looked quite deep. He spoke gently, "Anan, go get that treated quickly."
Only after hearing the old master’s voice did Huo Jinyun and Gu Yunping notice that Huo Jinnan was wounded. After voicing their concern briefly, they resud staring intently at the direction of the monitor screen.
Huo Jinnan left the observation room with the little one, and the team leader followed behind, covered in mud.
The little one kept muttering, "Hmph, seriously, so fake! Didn’t you see your injury before? Now you see, I’m still the one who treats you best."
Huo Jinnan looked down at the little one without saying a word.
The little one pursed her lips and looked toward the team leader, "Dahei has turned into a mud ball."

Standing at the entrance of the observation room, the old master watched the direction of the little one and Huo Jinnan, hearing the incessant chatter from afar. He turned back to look at Huo Jinyun and said deeply, "Why didn’t you have the doctor treat Anan earlier?"
Huo Jinyun initially wanted to say it was just a scratch on the back of the hand, nothing serious, and with Jizhou unconscious, she didn’t have the mindset to care about much else.
Seeing the old master’s displeased expression and thinking of the little one’s cutting remarks, she whispered, "Grandpa, I didn’t see it before."

The old master didn’t say anything further and looked toward the monitor screen of the observation room.
Jizhou lay quietly on the hospital bed, his body pierced with tubes large and small—
He couldn’t bear to look anymore, turning back to Gu Yunping and asking, "How is Jizhou doing?"
Gu Yunping spoke softly, "The doctor imdiately put him on a ventilator. Although his heart is still beating, he’s not breathing on his own."
The old master’s complexion was terrible; he sat there in silence for a long ti.
Sitting here for the second ti in so many years, his heart was even more anxious than before!
Huo Jinyun sat on the side, wiping away tears, her heart filled with extre loathing for Che Huan. She wished she could tear Che Huan to pieces. If it weren’t for her, why would Jizhou have rushed back to Hong Kong, and how could such an accident have happened?

The attending physician looked toward the old master and Gu Yunping and suggested, "If there are any other important people to the patient, they should try as well."
Gu Yunping thought of Che Huan. If this situation arose because of Che Huan, if she ca and called Jizhou in such a manner, might Jizhou wake up sooner?
He looked at Huo Jinyun, "Ayun, co out, there’s sothing I want to discuss with you."
Huo Jinyun put down the microphone, wiped her tears, and followed Gu Yunping out of the observation room.
After closing the door, Gu Yunping looked at Huo Jinyun, "Ayun, should we try calling Che Huan over?"
