Che Huan bit her lip, straightened her disheveled clothes, and quickly left the restroom. After taking a few deep breaths and touching her burning cheeks, she regained so composure before heading towards Wen Nuan, "Alright, let’s go back."
Wen Nuan, her arms aching from holding the book, asked, "Sister Huanhuan, why did it take so long? Were you punishing on purpose?"
Fearing that Huo Jinnan would co out and be seen by Wen Nuan, Che Huan brushed off the question, took the book, and quickly pulled her into the elevator, "Let’s go."
Wen Nuan looked at Che Huan, "It’s still early, are we heading back now?"
Thinking of Huo Jinnan’s words, Che Huan’s gaze drifted. She could ask him alone about her daughter, but his intentions just now were clearly not that!

Huo Jinnan stepped aside to let Wen Nuan out. Che Huan tried to follow, but Huo Jinnan grasped her wrist.
Che Huan looked up at Huo Jinnan.
Huo Jinnan stepped into the elevator, closed the door, and directly pressed for the second basent level.
Che Huan glanced at the elevator display, "What are we discussing?"
Huo Jinnan remained silent. Once they reached the underground parking lot, he gripped her wrist tightly and walked towards the black Bentley.
Che Huan took a deep breath, "Can’t we talk like this?"
The next second, the passenger door opened, and the weight of a man’s powerful hand fell onto her shoulder, involuntarily shifting her center of gravity downward.
She sat in the passenger seat, her hands tightly gripping the seatbelt.
Huo Jinnan closed the car door, and a few seconds later, got into the driver’s seat and steered the car out of the parking lot.

Huo Jinnan drove out of the parking garage and glanced sideways at Che Huan.

Huo Jinnan lit a cigarette, steering with one hand, "People of the Gu Family always have a penchant for distorting truth and facts."

Che Huan looked at him. Without the answer she was hoping for, her heart slowly sank, "Stop the car, I want to get out!"
Huo Jinnan glanced at Che Huan as he pulled over to the side of the road and looked towards her, "We will discuss the child’s matter another ti."
"But Gu Yunqing said my daughter is still alive!" Che Huan felt suffocated and stared intently at Huo Jinnan.
Huo Jinnan put out the cigarette between his fingers, his gaze darkly fixed on Che Huan.
