The little fellow nodded contentedly. Grandma was so easy to talk to. Did that an she would help him vent his resentnt? Well, let Huanhuan be with Huo Jinnan then, even if it ant letting him off easy!
Wen Ru kept her gaze on the little guy, observing his features. There was indeed a resemblance to Huanhuan, and he was so endearing. It was impossible to dislike him.
After a while, she looked up at Zhong Qin, "Please sit. Has Xiaowei always been with you guys all these years?"
"I’m rarely in Hong Kong, and Xiaowei has always lived with Anan," Zhong Qin said, looking at the little guy with a smile, and began chatting with Wen Ru.
Neither of them brought up the Huo Family or the Gu Family.

Wen Ru lay there lost in thought, reminded of painful mories, her expression darkened, "Not great, but not terrible. Just that Huanhuan has suffered. I’m not a good mother."
