He had just straightened up when the little one arrived.
Upon entering, the kid imdiately lightened his footsteps, tiptoeing to the bedside, glanced at Zhong Qin, then looked up at Huo Jinnan, "Is Grandma better now?"
Huo Jinnan nodded, looking down at the little one, his mind turning to Che Huan.
These past few days, had she made up her mind to leave?
Was he really not trustworthy? Was she so certain he would, for the sake of his mother, give up on her? Did she really think he couldn’t handle this issue properly?
Seeing Huo Jinnan’s face tighten, the little one bit his lip, "Where’s Huanhuan? Why isn’t she here? Didn’t she co to the hospital?"
Huo Jinnan remained silent.
The little one pouted in annoyance. Really, he asked but got no reply—what kind of person was that!
He turned to look at Huo Jinxue, "Little Aunt, where is Huanhuan?"
