Huo Bei stood in the night breeze, waiting a full hour before he saw a car approaching.
A black Bentley stopped, Huo Jinnan got out of the car, and glanced around, "Where’s the leader?"
Clad in a trench coat, Huo Bei ca over, "It hasn’t shown up since last night."
Huo Jinnan did not respond. The day Leader saw the car chase from his seat, it had frenziedly jumped around inside the vehicle. If Jinnan hadn’t held it down, it would have jumped right out of the window!
They hadn’t found any clues yesterday, and by now, it was probably out there picking fights with stray dogs.
When it returned, it would, no doubt, be full of fight as usual.
Huo Bei pointed to a spot, "The scene of the incident should be right here."
Huo Jinnan scanned the area, lit a cigarette, and made a call to Qin Shaojin, "Bring your third uncle over."
Qin Shaojin had just finished reviewing an old case, had just lain down, and was woken by the ringtone before he could fall asleep deeply.
"Huo Bro, in the middle of the night, shouldn’t you be working hard to... well, you know..."
Huo Jinnan cut him off, and ntioned the location directly, "Bring Qin Mochuan here."
Qin Shaojin sat up abruptly from the bed, "At this ti, to that place, my third uncle might not be willing to go."
Huo Jinnan lit a cigarette, "Just tell him I have a project I want to partner on with him. Once he’s in the car, just bring him straight over."
Sothing must be up in the middle of the night!
Interest piqued, Qin Shaojin turned on the light, and while buttoning up his shirt, he asked, "You’re asking to use force on my third uncle?"
"You don’t usually hold back on showing him respect, do you?"
As soon as he finished speaking, Huo Jinnan hung up the phone.
Hearing the dial tone, Qin Shaojin tossed his phone aside, dressed quickly, and drove straight back to the Qin family ho. Arriving at Qin Mochuan’s door, he knocked, "Third uncle."
In his pajamas, Qin Mochuan ca to the door, "Third, what brings you here in the middle of the night?"
Qin Shaojin stood there, rolling up his suit sleeves, "Huo Bro is in Yunshang with a project. They didn’t find a partner on short notice. Are you interested, uncle? Shall we go together?"
Qin Mochuan looked at Qin Shaojin, "Why didn’t he ask your second brother?"
Qin Shaojin stood there, fastening his suit, "Second brother is not familiar with that field, and you know he always stays clear of the entertainnt industry."
Qin Mochuan frowned, "Jinnan wants to venture into films and television too?"
Qin Shaojin adjusted his collar, "Seems like it. They won’t make it for the sumr slot, but it looks like they’re preparing a New Year’s movie."

Qin Mochuan remained silent, looking at Qin Shaojin.
Qin Shaojin smiled, "If third uncle isn’t interested, I’ll just go by myself."
Rembering Huo Jinnan’s last warning, it seed that matter should be in the past, not sothing that would co back to haunt him again—it wasn’t Jinnan’s style.
Besides, he had dealt with that person, so he could rest easy. Project or no project, there wasn’t much to lose by showing up.
"Wait! I’ll change my clothes."
Qin Shaojin smiled innocently, "There are a few attractive ladies, just third uncle’s type. I’ll have them wait for you."
Qin Mochuan went back to his room and changed into a new set of clothes, coming downstairs ten minutes later.
Qin Shaojin’s car was already at the front door, "Third uncle, ride in my car, shall we?"
Qin Mochuan walked over and got into the back seat.
Qin Shaojin’s slender fingers caressed the steering wheel as he glanced in the rearview mirror at the dozing Qin Mochuan, "If you’re tired, uncle, take a nap in the back. I’ll wake you when we arrive."
"Okay." Qin Mochuan was indeed tired; he hadn’t felt well all day and had spent another long day at the office, leaving him especially exhausted.
...
An hour later, Qin Shaojin stopped the car, got out of the driver’s seat, gave Huo Jinnan a sly smile, walked to the rear door, and opened it, "Third uncle, we’re here."
Feeling the cold wind sweeping in, Qin Mochuan opened his eyes to complete darkness, instantly alert, "Where, where is this?"
