However, this is the ninth floor. I wonder if the team leader got hurt jumping out? Could he have been captured by bad guys?
Suddenly, I don’t feel at ease.
Last ti I rushed in to see Huanhuan, I didn’t pay close attention to where Huanhuan lived. This ti, the little guy was very curious and looked around. It was totally different from Huo Jinnan’s place; although not as nice—it was actually quite run-down!
But I always felt a different kind of warmth, which I really liked, because this was Huanhuan’s ho, right? To like soone is to like everything about them!
Turning around, I saw Che Huan standing there, lost in thought. I walked over and took Che Huan’s hand, "Huanhuan, are you feeling unwell?"
"No." Che Huan ca back to her senses and smiled at the little one, searching for her phone.
The phone was left on the bed; it had run out of battery and turned off. After charging and turning it on, there were dozens of missed calls.
The little guy glanced at it and accidentally saw the phone number. He quickly recognized it as Gu Jizhou’s mobile number. His big eyes blinked in surprise. How did Huanhuan know that guy?
It was one thing to know him, but why did that guy call Huanhuan so many tis!!
Sitting there, the little guy felt uneasy. Could it be that that guy had taken a liking to Huanhuan? Was he trying to compete with for Huanhuan?
Suddenly realizing there was a new rival in love made feel terrible. I really wanted to add that guy to the blacklist, but I didn’t know how!
I’ll definitely get Uncle Lu to teach when I get back!
After a while, my little phone rang.
Seeing it was Huo Jinnan, the little guy glanced at Che Huan, then took the phone to the bathroom, closed the door, and asked softly, "Didn’t Rong Ma tell you? I’m going back tonight."
Huo Jinnan sat on the sofa, setting aside the newspaper on the coffee table, his voice cooling as he spoke, "It’s okay if you don’t co back."
It’s okay if I don’t co back?
Really?
The little guy pursed his lips. What did Huo Jinnan an?
Was he mad?
After thinking it over, he spoke seriously, "That’s also fine, but you have to give so money."
No sooner had he finished speaking, the phone was hung up.
Standing there, the little guy pouted and called Huo Jinbei, "Uncle, do you think Huo Jinnan suddenly doesn’t want anymore?"
Huo Jinbei was stunned by the little guy’s sudden question, "I doubt it. If he really didn’t want you, he would have left you five years ago."
"That’s true." The little guy felt much reassured after hearing that but then rembered about all the calls from Gu Jizhou on Che Huan’s phone, "Uncle, do you know how to blacklist a phone number?"
Huo Jinbei verbally walked the little guy through it once, "Got it?"
The little guy shook his head, "No, I don’t!"
Huo Jinbei repeated it, and the little guy frowned, "Uncle, co to our school tomorrow and teach , will you?"
After hearing Huo Jinbei agree, he hung up the phone with relief.
Back in the bedroom, the little guy looked at Che Huan, "Huanhuan, I’ll stay here tonight to take care of you."
Qiao Qiao teased from the side, "You’re quite conscientious, kid. Huanhuan’s affection for you isn’t in vain!"
The little guy sneaked a peek at Che Huan, his ears reddening. So Huanhuan liked him too, and it wasn’t unrequited?
Che Huan had just called Huo Bei, but no one answered. Clutching her phone, she wondered whether to send a ssage when Gu Jizhou’s call ca in.
She answered the call and glanced at the little guy, "Have you agreed to sign the agreent?"
Gu Jizhou didn’t answer and asked coldly, "Where have you been these past few days?"
