Upon reaching the outpatient building, a nurse led Qin Shaojin to the paynt window to settle the fees.
Qin Shaojin fished out his wallet from his trousers and handed over a card.

Seeing Qin Shaojin’s car and rembering she only had one skewer of grilled kidneys, she pretended not to see his car, walked past it, went out the door, and headed straight for the bus stop.
At the bus stop, she stood on tiptoes peering at the bus sign – not a single route would take her directly ho; she had to transfer!
Having confird her route, she stood there, looking back, not seeing the bus she was waiting for. On tiptoes and with both hands clutching her bag’s straps, she watched the incessant flow of traffic on the road.
Qin Shaojin drove his car over, honking the horn.
Wen Nuan didn’t hear it.
He honked a few more tis, rubbed the bridge of his nose, and dialed Wen Nuan’s mobile phone – switched off!
