Che Huan, "...!!"
Is this a punishnt?
The woman returned to Shen You’s side and playfully called out, "Shen Shao."
"Such a good girl." Shen You took a stack of money from beside him and gave it to her as a tip.
The woman knew that Shen You was just making her an example. She giggled, took the tip happily.
Che Huan sat there, feeling stifled in her chest, wanting to stand up and leave, but the man’s hand on her shoulder held her firmly in place, unable to move.
When it was Gu Yunqing’s turn, she knew it was Che Huan, and couldn’t say anything out of turn. Huo Jinnan was always like this, overly fastidious, and wouldn’t participate in this kind of ga, but at this mont, she didn’t know whether to be happy or worried.
Fortunately, she made no mistakes and recognized Qin Shaonan’s voice in one go, and sat to one side.
Shen You cleared his throat lightly, "A reward of a glass of wine."
He poured a glass of wine and handed it to Gu Yunqing.
Gu Yunqing drank it in one gulp and looked at Che Huan, "Che Huan, it’s your turn."
Che Huan didn’t want to participate in this ga and sat there unmoved.
Huo Jinnan looked at Che Huan intently, and whispered into her ear in a voice that only the two of them could hear, "Complete this ga, and you can co to for help with anything afterward."
Anything?
Che Huan thought of her uncle’s issue, bit her lip, and looked at Huo Jinnan, "Anything at all?"
Huo Jinnan whispered in her ear, "In Hong Kong, there’s nothing I can’t do."
Che Huan took a deep breath, stood up, walked to the center, and let soone blindfold her.
After being spun around three tis, she was led to Shen You first.
Shen You played his part well, replicating his cough sound exactly as before.
The second was Qin Shaonan, the third was Yu Zimu, and the last one was Huo Jinnan.
When it ca to Huo Jinnan, all eyes were on him.
Not only was Gu Yunqing curious, but even Shen You was too, as it was Huo Jinnan’s first ti playing this ga, good thing he was quick-witted and changed the rules of the ga.
Huo Jinnan sat there, silent.
Che Huan listened intently for a while, then lightly bit her lip.
To be honest, apart from Shen You, she didn’t recognize anyone. It was just a hunch that the last silent person must be Mr. Huo, owner of the Bentley – otherwise, it wouldn’t be so quiet in the private room!
Thinking of Mr. Huo’s capabilities and her uncle, she struggled internally but suddenly wanted to take a gamble.
But there would be a price to pay, wouldn’t there?
Her uncle would likely get angry if he found out!
Huo Jinnan sat there, his gaze deep and thick.
Shen You, Yu Zimu, Qin Shaonan, and the others looked on; nobody spoke. The private room was so quiet that the atmosphere turned slightly eerie.
Che Huan took a deep breath, pushed aside her thoughts, and walked lightly to Yu Zimu, "This is Mr. Huo, right?"
Yu Zimu hadn’t understood why Che Huan was walking toward him and almost jumped when she spoke, feeling like he had beco the hapless victim of mistake identity.
Fearing Huo Jinnan would deal with him, he quickly murmured a hint, "You’re wrong!"
Qin Si, "..."
The voice was not quiet and could be heard by others, right?
Yu Zimu looked toward Huo Jinnan with a trembling heart.
Huo Jinnan glanced at the cigarette case, pressed it with his thumb, and pulled out a cigarette with his index and middle fingers. He fiddled with it in his hand without lighting it.
Yu Zimu almost cried and muttered quietly, "Madam, I beg you, saving a life is more ritorious than building a seven-story pagoda. Please, have rcy on . I’m not even married yet; my parents are still waiting for grandchildren."
