Qin Shaojin changed into slippers and turned back to look at Wen Nuan.
Wen Nuan imdiately averted her gaze and stood there much more demurely, "Don’t I need to change slippers? If I dirty the floor, I won’t clean it for you."
Qin Shaojin bent down, opened the shoe cabinet, swept a glance, found no won’s slippers, and took out a pair of his own, tossing them onto the shoe mat by the door.
Wen Nuan glanced at them, "Have you worn these?"
Qin Shaojin replied without a blush or a heartbeat, "Brand new."
Wen Nuan gave an "Oh," put on Qin Shaojin’s slippers, and looked down at her toes reaching the front, with almost half of the back empty.
Looking up, she found Qin Shaojin also watching her toes. Wen Nuan stood there, her toes curling uncomfortably, "What... what are you looking at?"
Qin Shaojin looked away, "Just checking if your ugly feet will ruin my slippers."
"...!"
Wen Nuan was furious, her feet ugly? Her feet were voted the best looking in the dormitory, no, in the class!
She looked down at her feet, clearly very pretty!
Looking back at Qin Shaojin, he must be blind!
Qin Shaojin headed to the living room, then walked towards the stairs.
Wen Nuan looked at him, "Where... where do I sleep?"
Qin Shaojin turned back, glanced at Wen Nuan, and lifted the eighteen yuan he was holding in his hand, pointing to the sofa, "Even letting you stay on the sofa is being generous."

As soon as the words fell, she unceremoniously slamd the door shut with a bang.
Qin Shaojin stood there, pressing the bridge of his nose. Had he pointed to his own bedroom?
He looked at the firmly closed door for a while, his handso fingers tugged on the tie with so force, tossed it over his wrist, and unbuttoned the top three buttons of his shirt. He raised his hand to knock on the door, then hesitated, turned, and walked towards the adjacent room.
Once in, he glanced around, found a comforter in the closet, threw it on the bed, and then went to the bathroom.
Wanting to take a shower, he discovered there were no toiletries.
He walked out, went downstairs, to Zhao Wu’s room on the first floor, and knocked heavily on the door.
Zhao Wu was in deep sleep, and waking up in such a manner annoyed him. When he saw it was Qin Shaojin, he asked, "Lawyer Qin, what’s the matter?"
Qin Shaojin raised his handso finger and toyed with Zhao Wu’s tousled hair, "Go buy a set of toiletries."
"Didn’t you just buy so a few days ago? How can they be gone so quickly?" Zhao Wu stared in disbelief. Was he eating them?
