As soon as evening passed, the sky turned completely dark.
Wang Ye had also arrived in the jungle.
As he walked, he kept observing. Despite being in the pitch-black forest, he had no fear,
because his eyes had evolved with night vision capability, and his Five Senses were extrely sharp. Such a dark environnt was no different from daylight for him, naturally, he wouldn't feel scared.
Human fear, at its root, stems from the unknown and weakness.
Eliminate the unknown, enhance your own strength, and fear naturally dissipates.
Just as Wang Ye was looking for an open area in the jungle, a team that seed to have just returned from Swallow Cave entered his sight.
There were six of them, all without exception showing signs of fatigue and frustration.
They were headed in the opposite direction of Wang Ye, seemingly preparing to return to town to rest.
Initially, Wang Ye didn't pay them much attention, assuming them to be an ordinary expedition team,
until he saw, with his night vision capability, the Red Bull logo printed on the team's jerseys.
"This logo... so they are athletes sponsored by Red Bull? I didn't expect them to arrive at Swallow Cave so early," Wang Ye squinted his eyes imdiately, "but it seems they haven't succeeded in their challenge yet. They probably haven't even figured out the environnt and terrain."
With Wang Ye's observational skills, it was clear that these people were very frustrated, anxious, and uneasy. Such emotions ant they hadn't gained any benefits so far, let alone succeeded in their challenge.
At this mont, the six people in the Red Bull team also noticed Wang Ye. Given their puzzled expressions, they seed to be curious why soone would head towards Swallow Cave alone at night.
But due to the dim lighting, the six from the Red Bull Team couldn't clearly see Wang Ye's face, and naturally didn't recognize this mysterious man as their opponent in this challenge.
Yet they didn't overthink it, and after passing by Wang Ye, they turned their heads and continued towards the town.
Wang Ye, on the other hand, continued walking deeper into the jungle.
··························
··························
The Red Bull team walked along a muddy path and finally arrived in town.
As their rain boots stepped onto the solid cent road,
they suddenly felt a sense of stability in their hearts.
Having explored the jungle filled with pools and marshes for days on end,
even this group of top-notch parachutists felt a bit overwheld.
What's more troubling is that after all these days of exploration, they still hadn't achieved any results.
Due to several days of rain, there was too much water accumulated around Swallow Cave, and the descending waterfalls and slippery rock surfaces severely obstructed their ability to set up expansion bolts and descenders.
Without anchoring points, it would be almost impossible for them to climb back up after descending...
Therefore,
everyone was very dejected.
At this mont, Carlos, the captain, glanced at his phone's ssages and suddenly said, "Red Bull sent a new ssage. Wang Ye has already arrived in xico."
"Wang Ye? Is that the Chinese man who completed Celestial Descent?" the female team mber asked.
Carlos nodded, "Yes, he arrived this afternoon."
The female team mber curiously asked, "Is his strength really that formidable?"
Carlos slightly shook his head, his eyes sowhat downcast, "Currently, only edited promotional videos can be found online. In my opinion, he might have so strength, but I've never heard of this na before, so I suspect there might be so deception involved."
The female team mber continued to inquire, "Then how did he succeed in the Celestial Descent challenge?"
"Artificial assistance, fake equipnt, or the use of editing and special effects. Anything is possible," Carlos said in a cold voice at the entrance of the motel, "Asians, especially Chinese, have so tricks when it cos to deception and misguidance."
At this point, a silent French team mber spoke, "According to the current information, he ascended to the top of Mount Everest solo without supplies, and he was the only one present at that ti. It's hard not to question the authenticity of this matter.
When I was a mountaineer, I climbed Everest with Sherpas, so I know how harsh the environnt is there, and I know exactly how challenging that feat is."
The female team mber hesitated, "Although that's possible, since he's daring enough to co to xico to continue challenging Awakening Earth, it shows that his strength is certainly not to be underestimated."
Captain Carlos sat down on the step at the motel entrance, muttering, "I know. But with our ability, under these climate conditions, it's definitely unattainable. You've seen the results of our efforts over the past few days; even with the top-notch equipnt provided by Red Bull, it's to no avail. This isn't a challenge a normal person can accomplish. The only thing we can do now is unmask him, expose his true identity, and pull him down with us."
The female team mber's eyes slightly narrowed, "What do you plan to do?"
"It's simple," Carlos contemplated, "I'll track him continuously before his official challenge to Awakening Earth. If he shows any sign of deceit, I'll film it and make it public, so he'll lose all his previous efforts and face disgrace."
"Huh? Is that all?" the French team mber asked in surprise, "I thought you were going to hire local gangsters to attack him? Aren't you a xican?"
